According to the word of Ephraim he adopted ordinances for himself in Israel; and he established them for Baal, and died.
|
По словеси` е^фрњмовђ ѓ^правленїя прїя и^ се'и въ і^и^л~и. и^ положи я& ваа'лови, и^ ё'мре.

|
And now they have sinned increasingly, and have made for themselves a molten image of their silver, according to the fashion of idols, the work of artificers accomplished for them: they say, Sacrifice men, for the calves have come to an end.
|
и^ нн~њ приложи'ша съгрњша'ти, и^ сътвори'ша сїи себњ слїа'никъ съ ꙁла'та и^ с# сребра и^хъ” сїи гл~ютъ, коли'те чл~кы ѓ^скђдњша б^о тел#цы.

|
Therefore shall they be as a morning cloud, and as the early dew that passes away, as chaff blown away from the threshing-floor, and as a vapour from tears.
|
сего ради бђдTђ ја^ко ѓ^блакъ ё'тренїи, и^ јако и^ роса` жа'твеная, и^дђще ја%ко и^ плњ'вы с то'ка, и^ пра'хъ съ вњтвїя раꙁвњва'емыи ви'хромъ”

But I am the Lord thy God that establishes the heaven, and creates the earth, whose hands have framed the whole host of heaven: but I shewed them not to thee that thou shouldest go after them: and I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no God but me; and there is no Saviour beside me.

А@з же г~ь б~ъ твои ё^твержа'яй нб~о и^ съзида'яи зе'млю, е^гоже рђ'цњ стяжа'сте вс^е вои^н#ство нбsное, и^ не покаꙁа'хъ т^и е^го ја%ко ходи'ти въ слњдъ и^хъ” А$зъ же иꙁведо'хъ т^я и^зъ ꙁемля` е^гљ=пет#ски, и^ б~а раꙁвњ` мене да не позна'еши. и^ сп~саю^щаго нњсть ра'звњ мене`”

I tended thee as a shepherd in the wilderness, in an uninhabited land.
|
А$ꙁъ пасо'хъ т^я въ пђсты'ни на земли` невселе'ннњ
|

|
According to their pastures, so they were completely filled; and their hearts were exalted; therefore they forgot me.
|
по па'ствамъ и^хъ, и^ ё^мно'жишася до и^сполне'нїя, и^ възнесо'шася срDца иX, сего ради забы'ша м^я.

|
And I will be to them as a panther, and as a leopard.
|
и^ бђдђ и^м# ја%ко пан#џи'рь, и^ ја%ко и^ ры'сь на пђти` а^сљ=рїемъ,

|
I will meet them by the way of the Assyrians, as a she-bear excited, and I will rend the caul of their heart, and the lions' whelps of the thicket shall devour them there; the wild beasts of the field shall rend them in pieces.

и^ сря'щђ я& ја%ко и^ медвњдь ли'ховаемъ, и^ раꙁDрђшђ съключе'нїе срDць и^хъ, і^ и^ꙁъядя'тъ я& щенцы` дђбра'внїи, и^ ꙁвњрь польскїи растоrгнетъ я&.

|
O Israel, who will aid thee in thy destruction?
|
в расы'панїе твое і^и^л~ю кт^о помо'жетъ тебњ`.
|

|
|
Where is this thy king? let him even save thee in all thy cities: let him judge thee, of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and a prince.
|
гдњ` цр~ь твои, то'и да сп~сетъ т^я въ всњх# гра'дехъ твои^хъ. и^ да сђди'тъ ти е^мђже гл~а, да'ждь м^и цр~ь и^ кн~ѕь.

|
And I gave thee a king in mine anger, and kept him back in my wrath.
|
и^ да'хъ цр~я въ гнњвњ свое'мъ, и^ ё^дръжа'хся въ ја%рости мое'и”

|
Ephraim has framed a conspiracy of unrighteousness, his sin is hidden.
|
Съвраще'нїе непра'вды е^фрњмовы, съкрове'нъ грњ'хъ его.
|

|
Pains as of a woman in travail shall come upon him: he is thy wise son, because he shall not stay in the destruction of thy children.
|
бо'лњꙁни а^ки раждающїи прїимђтъ и&. с^е сн~ъ мои мђ'дрыи, ꙁане` нн~њ сътръпиT вс^е съкрђше'нїе ча'дъ е^го”

|
I will deliver them out of the power of Hades, and will redeem them from death: where is thy penalty, O death? O Hades, where is thy sting? comfort is hidden from mine eyes.
|
эT рђки` а'довы и^ꙁба'влю я&, и^ эT смр~ти и^скђплю я&. гдњ` пря` твоя смр~ти, гдњ' ли ѓ^сте'нъ твои а%де” Оу^тᲇше'нїе съкры'ся эT ѓ'чїю твое^ю,

Forasmuch as he will cause a division among his brethren, the Lord shall bring upon him an east wind from the desert, and shall dry up his veins and quite drain his fountains: he shall dry up his land, and spoil all his precious vessels.

ꙁане` се'и междђ братїя раꙁлђ'читъ” Наведе'тъ г~ь вњтръ ꙁнои^нъ и^с пђсты'ни на'нь, и^ пресђшитъ водоте'чи е^го, и^ ска'зитъ и^сточ#ники е^го, се'и и^ска'зитъ зе'млю е^го и^ вс^я сосђ'ды е^го лю'быя”
