| In the beginning of the Reign of King Joakim Son of Josias there came this Word from the Lord. | И# бhсть сл0во гDне ко їеремjи втори1цею, т0йже бsше є3щE свsзанъ во дворЁ темни1чнэмъ, гlz: |

| Thus said the Lord; Stand in the court of the Lord's house, and thou shalt declare to all the Jews, and to all that come to worship in the house of the Lord, all the words which I commanded thee to speak to them; abate not one word. | тaкw речE гDь, творsй зeмлю и3 ўстроszй ю5, є4же и3спрaвити ю5, гDь и4мz є3мY: |

| Peradventure they will hear, and turn every one from his evil way: then I will cease from the evils which I purpose to do to them, because of their evil practices. | возопjй ко мнЁ, и3 tвэщaю ти2 и3 возвэщY тебЁ вели6каz и3 крBпкаz, и4хже не разумёлъ є3си2. |

| And thou shalt say, Thus said the Lord; If ye will not hearken to me, to walk in my statutes which I set before you, | Ћкw тaкw речE гDь бGъ ї}левъ њ домёхъ грaда сегw2 и3 њ хрaмэхъ царS їyдина, растeрзанныхъ на nстр0ги и3 на забр†ла, |

| to hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I send to you early in the morning; yea, I sent them, but ye hearkened not to me; | є4же проти1витисz ко халдeємъ, и3 нап0лню є3го2 мeртвыми человBки, и5хже порази1хъ во гнёвэ моeмъ и3 въ ћрости моeй, и3 tврати1хъ лицE моE t ни1хъ всёхъ рaди ѕл0бъ и4хъ. |

| then will I make this house as Selo, and I will make this city a curse to all the nations of all the earth. | СE, ѓзъ наведY на нS срастёніе ћзвы и3 и3сцэлeніе, и3 и3зврачyю | и3 kвлю2 и5мъ, є4же слyшати, и3 и3сцэлю2 | и3 сотворю2 и5мъ ми1ръ и3 вёру: |

| And the priests, and the false prophets, and all the people heard Jeremias speaking these words in the house of the Lord. | и3 њбращY преселeніе їyдино и3 преселeніе ї}лево, и3 сограждY |, ћкоже и3 прeжде, |

| And it came to pass, when Jeremias had ceased speaking all that the Lord had ordered him to speak to all the people, that the priests and the false prophets and all the people took him, saying, | и3 њчи1щу | t всёхъ непрaвдъ и4хъ, и4миже согрэши1ша ми2, и3 млcтивъ бyду всBмъ непрaвдамъ и4хъ, и4миже tступи1ша t менє2. |

| Thou shalt surely die, because thou hast prophesied in the name of the Lord, saying, This house shall be as Selo, and this city shall be made quite destitute of inhabitants. And all the people assembled against Jeremias in the house of the Lord. | И# бyдетъ въ весeліе и3 во хвалY и3 въ вели1чіе всBмъ лю1демъ земли2, и5же ўслhшатъ вс‰ благwты2, ±же ѓзъ сотворю2 и5мъ, и3 ўбоsтсz, и3 њгорчaтсz њ всёхъ благотaхъ и3 њ всeмъ ми1рэ, є3г0же ѓзъ сотворю2 и5мъ. |

| And the princes of Juda heard this word, and they went up out of the house of the king to the house of the Lord, and sat in the entrance of the new gate. | Тaкw речE гDь: є3щE ўслhшитсz въ сeмъ мёстэ, њ нeмже вы2 глаг0лете: пyсто є4сть t человBкъ и3 t скHтъ, во градёхъ їyдиныхъ и3 внЁ їеrли1ма, њпустёвшихъ, понeже нёсть человёка, ни скотA, |

| Then the priests and the false prophets said to the princes and to all the people, The judgment of death is due to this man; because he has prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears. | глaсъ весeліz и3 глaсъ рaдости, глaсъ женихA и3 глaсъ невёсты, глaсъ глаг0лющихъ: и3сповёдайтесz гDеви вседержи1телю, ћкw бlгъ гDь, ћкw въ вёкъ млcть є3гw2: и3 принесyтъ дaры похвалeніz въ д0мъ гDень, ћкw возвращY всE преселeніе земли2 тоS по прeжнему, речE гDь. |

| Then Jeremias spoke to the princes, and to all the people, saying, The Lord sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city, all the words which ye have heard. | Тaкw гlетъ гDь си1лъ: є3щE бyдутъ на сeмъ мёстэ пустёмъ, за є4же не бhти человёку, ни скотY, во всёхъ градёхъ є3гw2 њбит†лища пастухHвъ пасyщихъ џвцы, |

| And now amend your ways and your works, and hearken to the voice of the Lord; and the Lord shall cease from the evils which he has pronounced against you. | во градёхъ г0рнихъ и3 во градёхъ п0льныхъ, и3 во градёхъ нагeвъ и3 въ земли2 веніамjни, и3 во њкрeстныхъ їеrли1ма и3 во градёхъ їyдиныхъ, є3щE п0йдутъ џвцы къ руцЁ и3счислsющагw, гlетъ гDь. |

| And behold, I am in your hands; do to me as is expedient, and as it is best for you. | СE, днjе грzдyтъ, речE гDь, и3 возстaвлю сл0во бlго, є4же гlахъ къ д0му ї}леву и3 къ д0му їyдину. |

| But know for a certainty, that if ye slay me, ye bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon them that dwell in it; for in truth the Lord has sent me to you to speak in your ears all these words. | Во днeхъ џнэхъ и3 въ то2 врeмz произрасти1ти сотворю2 давjду tрaсль прaвды, и3 сотвори1тъ сyдъ и3 прaвду на земли2. |

| Then the princes and all the people said to the priests and to the false prophets; Judgment of death is not due to this man; for he has spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God. | Во днeхъ џнэхъ сп7сeнъ бyдетъ їyда, и3 їеrли1мъ пребyдетъ въ надeжди: и3 сіE є4сть и4мz, и4мже нарекyтъ є3го2: гDь првdнъ нaшъ. |

| And there rose up men of the elders of the land, and said to all the assembly of the people, | Тaкw бо речE гDь: не њскудёетъ t давjда мyжъ сэдsй на прест0лэ д0му ї}лева: |

| Michæas the Morathite lived in the days of Ezekias king of Juda, and said to all the people of Juda, Thus saith the Lord; Sion shall be ploughed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become a desolation, and the mountain of the house shall be a thicket of trees. | и3 t жерцє1въ и3 t леvjтwвъ не поги1бнетъ мyжъ t лицA моегw2, приносsй всесожжє1ніz и3 дaръ и3 творsй жє1ртвы по вс‰ дни6. |

| Did Ezekias and all Juda in any way slay him? Was it not that they feared the Lord, and they made supplication before the Lord, and the Lord ceased from the evils which he had pronounced against them? whereas we have wrought great evil against our own souls. | И# бhсть сл0во гDне ко їеремjи гlz: |

| And there was another man prophesying in the name of the Lord, Urias the son of Samæas of Cariathiarim; and he prophesied concerning this land according to all the words of Jeremias. | тaкw гlетъ гDь: м0жетъ ли разори1тисz завётъ м0й со днeмъ и3 завётъ м0й съ н0щію, є4же не бhти дню2 и3 н0щи во врeмz своE; |

| And king Joakim and all the princes heard all his words, and sought to slay him; and Urias heard it and went into Egypt. | то2 и3 завётъ м0й разори1тсz съ давjдомъ раб0мъ мои1мъ, є4же не бhти t негw2 сhну цaрствующу на прест0лэ є3гw2, и3 съ леv‡ты и3 свzщє1нники рабы6 мои1ми. |

| And the king sent men into Egypt; | Ћкоже сочтє1ны бhти не м0гутъ ѕвёзды небє1сныz, ни и3змёренъ бhти пес0къ морскjй, тaкw ўмн0жу сёмz рабA моегw2 давjда и3 леvjты служи1тєли мо‰. |

| and they brought him thence, and brought him in to the king; and he smote him with the sword, and cast him into the sepulchre of the children of his people. | И# бhсть сл0во гDне ко їеремjи гlz: |

| Nevertheless the hand of Achicam son of Saphan was with Jeremias, to prevent his being delivered into the hands of the people, or being killed. | є3дA не ви1дэлъ є3си2, что2 рек0ша лю1діе сjи, глаг0люще: двA нарHда, и5хже и3збрA гDь, и3 сE, tвeрже |: и3 преwгорчи1ша людjй мои1хъ, (сегw2 рaди) ћкw да не бyдетъ ктомY нар0дъ пред8 ни1ми; |
