| The Word that came to Jeremias for all the Jews dwelling in the land of Egypt, and for those settled in Magdolo and in Taphnas, and in the land of Pathura, saying, | Тaкw гlетъ гDь: сE, ѓзъ воздви1гну на вавmлHнъ и3 на живyщыz халдє1и вётръ зн0енъ губи1телный: |

| Thus has the Lord God of Israel said; Ye have seen all the evils which I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon the cities of Juda; and, behold, they are desolate without inhabitants, | и3 послю2 на вавmлHнъ ругaтєли, и3 стyднw поругaютсz є3мY и3 и3стлsтъ зeмлю є3гw2: понeже г0ре на вавmлHнъ w4крестъ въ дeнь њѕлоблeніz є3гw2. |

| because of their wickedness, which they have wrought to provoke me, by going to burn incense to other gods, whom ye knew not. | Да налzцaетъ налzцazй лyкъ св0й, и3 да њблечeтсz въ брwнS сво‰, и3 не пощади1те ю4ношъ є3гw2, и3 побjйте всE в0инство є3гw2. |

| Yet I sent to you my servants the prophets early in the morning, and I sent, saying, Do not ye this abominable thing which I hate. | И# падyтъ и3збіeнніи въ земли2 халдeйстэй и3 ћзвенніи во странaхъ є3S. |

| But they hearkened not to me, and inclined not their ear to turn from their wickedness, so as not to burn incense to strange gods. | Понeже не њвдовЁ ї}ль и3 їyда t бGа своегw2, t гDа вседержи1телz, ћкw землS и4хъ нап0лнисz непрaвды t с™hхъ ї}левыхъ. |

| So mine anger and my wrath dropped upon them, and was kindled in the gates of Juda, and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they became a desolation and a waste, as at this day. | Бэжи1те t среды2 вавmлHна и3 спаси1те кjйждо дyшу свою2 и3 не поги1бнете въ непрaвдэ є3гw2, занE врeмz tмщeніz є3гw2 є4сть t гDа, воздаsніе т0й воздaстъ є3мY. |

| And now thus has the Lord Almighty said, Wherefore do ye commit these great evils against your souls? to cut off man and woman of you, infant and suckling from the midst of Juda, to the end that not one of you should be left; | Чaша злат†z вавmлHнъ въ руцЁ гDни, напаsющи всю2 зeмлю, t вінA є3гw2 пи1ша (вси2) kзhцы, сегw2 рaди потрzс0шасz. |

| by provoking me with the works of your hands, to burn incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, into which ye entered to dwell there, that ye might be cut off, and that ye might become a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth? | Внезaпу падE вавmлHнъ и3 сокруши1сz: плaчите по нeмъ, возми1те мaсти къ болёзни є3гw2, да и3сцэли1тсz. |

| Have ye forgotten the sins of your fathers, and the sins of the kings of Juda, and the sins of your princes, and the sins of your wives, which they wrought in the land of Juda, and in the streets of Jerusalem? | Врачевaхомъ вавmлHна, и3 не и3сцэлЁ: њстaвимъ є3го2 и3 tи1демъ кjйждо въ зeмлю свою2, взhде бо къ небеси2 сyдъ є3гw2 и3 воздви1жесz дaже до ѕвёздъ. |

| And have not ceased even to this day, and they have not kept to my ordinances, which I set before their fathers. | И#знесE гDь сyдъ св0й: пріиди1те и3 возвэсти1мъ въ сіHнэ дэлA гDа бGа нaшегw. |

| Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I do set my face against you | Наwстри1те стрёлы, нап0лните тyлы: воздви1же гDь дyхъ царeй ми1дскихъ, ћкw проти1ву вавmлHна гнёвъ є3гw2, да погуби1тъ и5, понeже tмщeніе гDне є4сть, tмщeніе людjй є3гw2. |

| to destroy all the remnant that are in Egypt; and they shall fall by the sword, and by famine, and shall be consumed small and great: and they shall be for reproach, and for destruction, and for a curse. | На стэнaхъ вавmлHнскихъ воздви1гните знaмz, постaвите стр†жи, ўгот0вите стрaжей, ўгот0вите nрyжіе: ћкw ўмhсли гDь, и3 сотвори1тъ, ±же речE на живyщыz въ вавmлHнэ, |

| And I will visit them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have visited Jerusalem, with sword and with famine: | живhй над8 водaми мн0гими и3 богaтъ въ сокр0вищихъ свои1хъ: пріи1де конeцъ тв0й и4стиннw во ўтрHбы тво‰. |

| and there shall not one be preserved of the remnant of Juda that sojourn in the land of Egypt, to return to the land of Juda, to which they hope in their hearts to return: they shall not return, but only they that escape. | Клsтсz бо гDь си1лъ мhшцею своeю, ћкw нап0лню тебE людьми2, ћкоже ґкрjдами, и3 возгласsтъ над8 тоб0ю низходsщіи. |

| Then all the men that knew that their wives burned incense, and all the women, a great multitude, and all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathura, answered Jeremias, saying, | ГDь сотвори1вый зeмлю въ си1лэ своeй и3 ўстр0ивый вселeнную въ мyдрости своeй, и3 разумёніемъ свои1мъ распрострE небесA, |

| As for the word which thou hast spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we will not hearken to thee. | є3гдA џнъ дaстъ глaсъ, ўмн0жатсz в0ды на небеси2, воздвизazй w4блаки t конє1цъ земли2, м0лнію въ д0ждь сотвори2, и3зводsй свётъ t сокр0вищъ свои1хъ. |

| For we will surely perform every word that shall proceed out of our mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour drink-offerings to her, as we and our fathers have done, and our kings and princes, in the cities of Juda, and in the streets of Jerusalem: and so we were filled with bread, and were well, and saw no evils. | ЊбуS всsкъ человёкъ t рaзума, посрами1сz всsкъ сліsтель t и3звazній свои1хъ, ћкw лHжнаz слі‰ніz є3гw2, и3 нёсть дyха въ ни1хъ: |

| But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, we have all been brought low, and have been consumed by sword and by famine. | сyєтна сyть дэлA и3 смёху достHйна, въ чaсъ посэщeніz своегw2 поги1бнутъ. |

| And whereas we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured drink-offerings to her, did we make cakes to her, and pour drink-offerings to her, without our husbands? | Не таковA чaсть їaкwвлz, ћкw сотвори1вый всsчєскаz т0й є4сть, (ґ ї}ль) жeзлъ достоsніz є3гw2, гDь вседержи1тель и4мz є3гw2. |

| Then Jeremias answered all the people, the mighty men, and the women, and all the people that returned him these words for answer, saying, | Сокрушaеши ты2 мнЁ сосyды бр†нныz, и3 ѓзъ сокрушY въ тебЁ kзhки и3 погублю2 въ тебЁ ц†рствіz: |

| Did not the Lord remember the incense which ye burned in the cities of Juda, and in the streets of Jerusalem, ye, and your fathers, and your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land? and came it not into his heart? | и3 и3збію2 въ тебЁ к0ни и3 всaдники и4хъ, и3 и3збію2 въ тебЁ колєсни1цы и3 всэдaющихъ на ни1хъ: |

| And the Lord could no longer bear you, because of the wickedness of your doings, and because of your abominations which ye wrought; and so your land became a desolation and a waste, and a curse, as at this day; | и3 и3збію2 въ тебЁ мyжа и3 женY, и3 и3збію2 въ тебЁ стaра и3 џтрока, и3 и3збію2 въ тебЁ ю4ношу и3 дёву: |

| because of your burning incense, and because of the things wherein ye sinned against the Lord: and ye have not hearkened to the voice of the Lord, and have not walked in his ordinances, and in his law, and in his testimonies; and so these evils have come upon you. | и3 и3збію2 въ тебЁ пaстырz и3 стадA є3гw2, и3 и3збію2 въ тебЁ њрю1ща и3 раб0тна скотA є3гw2, и3 и3збію2 въ тебЁ воевHды и3 прави1тєли. |

| And Jeremias said to the people, and to the women, Hear ye the word of the Lord. | И# воздaмъ вавmлHну и3 всBмъ жителє1мъ халдє1йскимъ вс‰ ѕлHбы и4хъ, ±же сотвори1ша над8 сіHномъ пред8 nчи1ма вaшима, гlетъ гDь. |

| Thus has the Lord God of Israel said; Ye women have spoken with your mouth, and ye fulfilled it with your hands, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour drink-offerings to her: full well did ye keep to your vows, and ye have indeed performed them. | СE, ѓзъ на тS, горо2 смертон0снаz, гlетъ гDь, растлэвaющаz всю2 зeмлю, и3 прострY рyку мою2 на тS и3 и3звeргу тS и3з8 кaменей, и3 дaмъ тS въ г0ру сожжeную: |

| Therefore hear ye the word of the Lord, all Jews dwelling in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, saith the Lord, my name shall no longer be in the mouth of every Jew to say, The Lord lives, in all the land of Egypt. | и3 не в0змутъ t тебє2 кaмене во ќглъ и3 кaмене во њсновaніе, ћкw потреби1шисz во вёки, гlетъ гDь. |

| For I have watched over them, to hurt them, and not to do them good: and all the Jews dwelling in the land of Egypt shall perish by sword and by famine, until they are utterly consumed. | Воздви1гните знaмz на земли2, воструби1те труб0ю во kзhцэхъ, њсвzти1те нaнь kзhки, возвэсти1те нaнь цaрствамъ ґрар†тскимъ t менє2 и3 ґсханазewмъ: ўтверди1те над8 ни1мъ стрBльницы, возведи1те нaнь к0ни, ћкw ґкрjдwвъ мн0жество. |

| And they that escape the sword shall return to the land of Juda few in number, and the remnant of Juda, who have continued in the land of Egypt to dwell there, shall know whose word shall stand. | Возведи1те нaнь kзы6ки, царS ми1дска и3 всеS земли2, воев0дъ є3гw2 и3 всёхъ в0євъ є3гw2 и3 всеS земли2 w4бласти є3гw2. |

| And this shall be a sign to you, that I will visit you for evil. | И# потрzсeсz землS и3 смути1сz, занE востA на вавmлHнъ ўмышлeніе гDне, є4же положи1ти зeмлю вавmлHнску пyсту и3 ненаселeну. |

| Thus said the Lord; Behold, I will give Uaphres king of Egypt into the hands of his enemy, and into the hands of one that seeks his life; as I gave Sedekias king of Juda into the hands of Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, his enemy, and who sought his life. | Њскудёша крёпцыи вавmлHнстіи є4же рaтовати: сsдутъ тaмw во њгрaдэ, поги1бе хрaбрость и4хъ, и3 бhша ћкw жєны2: пожжє1на сyть селє1ніz, сотрє1ны завHры є3гw2. |

| The Word which Jeremias the Prophet spoke to Baruch son of Nerias, when he wrote these words in the book from the mouth of Jeremias, in the fourth year of Joakim the son of Josias king of Juda. | Гонsй во срётеніе текyща пости1гнетъ, и3 вёстникъ срётитъ послA, да возвэсти1тъ царю2 вавmлHнску, ћкw взsтъ бhсть грaдъ є3гw2. |

| Thus has the Lord said to thee, O Baruch. | T крaz прехождeній є3гw2 ћти бhша, и3 тверды6ни є3гw2 зажжє1ны nгнeмъ, и3 мyжіе є3гw2 в0инстіи и3сх0дzтъ. |

| Whereas thou hast said, Alas! alas! for the Lord has laid a grievous trouble upon me; I lay down in groaning, I found no rest; | Тaкw бо гlетъ гDь вседержи1тель, бGъ ї}левъ: д0мове царS вавmлHнскагw ћкw гумно2 зрёло и3змлачeни бyдутъ: є3щE мaлw, и3 пріи1детъ жатвA є3гw2. |

| say thou to him, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I pull down those whom I have built up, and I pluck up those whom I have planted. | Снэдe мz, раздроби1 мz, пріsтъ мS тмA тонкA, навуходон0соръ цaрь вавmлHнскій пожрe мz, ћкw ѕмjй нап0лни чрeво своE слaдостію моeю: и3 и3зверг0ша мS. |

| And wilt thou seek great things for thyself? seek them not: for, behold, I bring evil upon all flesh, saith the Lord: but I will give to thee thy life for a spoil in every place whither thou shalt go. | Труды2 мои2 и3 бэды6 мо‰ на вавmлHнъ, речeтъ живyщаz въ сіHнэ, и3 кр0вь моS на живyщыz въ халдeехъ, речeтъ їеrли1мъ. |
