| And these are the words of the book which Jeremias sent from Jerusalem to the elders of the captivity, and to the priests, and to the false prophets, even an epistle to Babylon for the captivity, and to all the people; | И# бhсть въ лёто четвeртое їwакjма, сhна їwсjина, царS їyдина, бhсть сл0во гDне ко їеремjи гlz: |

| (after the departure of Jechonias the king and the queen, and the eunuchs, and every freeman, and bondman, and artificer, out of Jerusalem;) | возми2 себЁ сви1токъ кни1жный и3 напиши2 въ нeмъ вс‰ словесA, ±же согlахъ къ тебЁ на ї}лz и3 на їyду и3 на вс‰ kзы6ки, t негHже днE гlахъ къ тебЁ, t днE їwсjи царS їyдина и3 до сегw2 днE: |

| by the hand of Eleasan son of Saphan, and Gamarias son of Chelcias, (whom Sedekias king of Juda sent to the king of Babylon to Babylon) saying, | нeгли ўслhшитъ д0мъ їyдинъ вс‰ ѕл†z, ±же ѓзъ помышлsю сотвори1ти и5мъ, да tвратsтсz t пути2 своегw2 ѕлaгw, и3 млcтивъ бyду непрaвдамъ и4хъ и3 грэхHмъ и4хъ. |

| Thus said the Lord God of Israel concerning the captivity which I caused to be carried away from Jerusalem; | И# призвA їеремjа варyха, сhна нирjина: и3 вписA варyхъ t ќстъ їеремjиныхъ вс‰ словесA гDнz, ±же согlа къ немY, во сви1токъ кни1жный. |

| Build ye houses, and inhabit them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruits thereof; | И# заповёда їеремjа варyху глаг0лz: менE стрегyтъ, и3 не могY вни1ти въ д0мъ гDень, |

| and take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, and be multiplied, and be not diminished. | ты2 u5бо вни1ди и3 прочти2 во сви1тцэ сeмъ, въ нeмже написaлъ є3си2 t ќстъ мои1хъ словесA гDнz, во ќшы людjй въ домY гDни въ дeнь постA и3 во ќшы всемY д0му їyдину, приходsщымъ t градHвъ свои1хъ, да прочтeши и5мъ: |

| And seek the peace of the land into which I have carried you captive, and ye shall pray to the Lord for the people: for in its peace ye shall have peace. | нeгли падeтъ моли1тва и4хъ пред8 лицeмъ гDнимъ, и3 tвратsтсz t пути2 своегw2 ѕлaгw: ћкw вели1ка ћрость и3 гнёвъ гDень, є3г0же согlа на лю1ди сі‰. |

| For thus saith the Lord; Let not the false prophets that are among you persuade you, and let not your diviners persuade you, and hearken not to your dreams which ye dream. | И# сотвори2 варyхъ сhнъ нирjинъ по всемY, є3ли6ка заповёда є3мY їеремjа прbр0къ прочести2 во кни1зэ словесA гDнz въ домY гDни. |

| For they prophesy to you unrighteous words in my name; and I sent them not. | И# бhсть въ пsтое лёто їwакjма царS їyдина, въ девsтый мцcъ, заповёдаша п0стъ пред8 лицeмъ гDнимъ всBмъ лю1демъ во їеrли1мэ и3 всемY мн0жеству, є4же сни1десz t градHвъ їyдиныхъ во їеrли1мъ. |

| For thus said the Lord; When seventy years shall be on the point of being accomplished at Babylon, I will visit you, and will confirm my words to you, to bring back your people to this place. | И# прочтE варyхъ во кни1зэ словесA їерем‡ина въ домY гDни, въ домY гамарjевэ, сhна сафaнz книг0чіz, во дворЁ вhшнемъ, во преддвeріи врaтъ д0му гDнz н0выхъ, во ќшы всёхъ людjй. |

| And I will devise for you a device of peace, and not evil, to bestow upon you these good things. | И# слhша міхeй сhнъ гамарjевъ, сhна сафaнz, вс‰ словесA гDнz t кни1ги. |

| And do ye pray to me, and I will hearken to you: and do ye earnestly seek me, and ye shall find me; | И# сни1де въ д0мъ царeвъ, въ д0мъ кни1жника, и3 сE, тaмw вси2 кн‰зи сэдsху, є3лісaмъ книг0чій и3 далeа сhнъ селемjевъ, и3 наfaнъ сhнъ ґховHровъ и3 гамарjа сhнъ сафaнь, и3 седекjа сhнъ ґнaніинъ и3 вси2 кн‰зи, |

| for ye shall seek me with your whole heart. | и3 возвэсти2 и5мъ міхeй вс‰ словесA, ±же слhша чтyща варyха во ќшы лю1демъ. |
|

| And I will appear to you: | И# послaша вси2 кн‰зи ко варyху сhну нирjину, їудjну сhну наfанjину, сhна селемjина, сhна хусjина, глаг0люще: кни1гу, ю4же ты2 чтeши во ќшы лю1демъ, возми2 ю5 въ рyку свою2 и3 пріиди2. И# взS варyхъ сhнъ нирjинъ кни1гу въ рyку свою2 и3 сни1де къ ни6мъ. |

| whereas ye said, The Lord has appointed for us prophets in Babylon: | И# рек0ша є3мY: пaки прочти2 во ќшы нaши. И# прочтE варyхъ во ќшы и4хъ. |

| Thus saith the Lord concerning Achiab, and concerning Sedekias; Behold, I will deliver them into the hands of the king of Babylon; and he shall smite them in your sight. | И# послA цaрь їудjна взsти кни1гу. И# взS ю5 t д0му є3лісaмы книг0чіz, и3 прочтE їудjнъ во ќшы царє1вы и3 во ќшы всёхъ кнzзeй стоsщихъ w4крестъ царS. |

| And they shall make of them a curse in all the captivity of Juda in Babylon, saying, The Lord do to thee as he did to Sedekias, and as he did to Achiab, whom the king of Babylon fried in the fire; | Цaрь же сэдsше во хрaминэ зи1мнэй, въ девsтый мцcъ, и3 постaвлено бЁ пред8 ни1мъ nгни1ще со nгнeмъ. |

| because of the iniquity which they wrought in Israel, and because they committed adultery with the wives of their fellow-citizens, and spoke a word in my name, which I did not command them to speak, and I am witness, saith the Lord. | И# бhсть чтyщу їудjну трeтій ли1стъ и3 четвeртый, раздроби2 | бри1твою книг0чіz и3 возметaше на џгненное nгни1ще, д0ндеже скончaсz вeсь сви1токъ на џгненнэмъ nгни1щи. |

| And to Samæas the Ælamite thou shalt say, | И# не ўжас0шасz и3 не растерзaша ри1зъ свои1хъ цaрь и3 вси2 џтроцы є3гw2, слhшавшіи вс‰ словесA сі‰. |

| I sent thee not in my name: and to Sophonias the priest the son of Maasæas say thou, | Е#лнаfaнъ же и3 далeа, и3 гамарjа и3 годолjа глаг0лаша царю2, є4же бы не сожещи2 сви1тка. И# не послyша и4хъ. |

| The Lord has made thee priest in the place of Jodae the priest, to be ruler in the house of the Lord over every prophet, and to every madman, and thou shalt put them in prison, and into the dungeon. | И# повелЁ цaрь їеремеи1лу сhну царeву и3 сарaеви сhну є3зріи1леву и3 селемjю сhну ґвдеи1леву, да и3зымaютъ варyха книг0чіz и3 їеремjю прbр0ка. Но сокры2 | гDь. |

| And now wherefore have ye reviled together Jeremias of Anathoth, who prophesied to you? | И# бhсть сл0во гDне ко їеремjи, є3гдA сожжE цaрь сви1токъ, вс‰ словесA, ±же вписA варyхъ t ќстъ їеремjиныхъ, гlz: |

| Did he not send for this purpose? for in the course of this month he sent to you to Babylon, saying, It is far off: build ye houses, and inhabit them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them. | пaки возми2 ты2 сви1токъ другjй и3 впиши2 вс‰ словесA бы6вшаz во сви1тцэ, ±же сожжE цaрь їwакjмъ: |

| And Sophonias read the book in the ears of Jeremias. | и3 ко їwакjму царю2 їyдину речeши: тaкw речE гDь: ты2 сожeглъ є3си2 сію2 кни1гу, глаг0лz: почто2 вписaлъ є3си2 въ нeй, глаг0лz: входS вни1детъ цaрь вавmлHнскій и3 потреби1тъ зeмлю сію2, и3 потребsтсz t неS человёцы и3 ск0ти; |

| Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremias, saying, | Тогw2 рaди си1це речE гDь на їwакjма царS їyдина: не бyдетъ є3мY сэдsщагw на прест0лэ давjдовэ, и3 бyдетъ тёло є3гw2 мeртвое повeржено на знои2 дневнёмъ и3 на мрaзэ нощнёмъ: |

| Send to the captivity, saying, Thus saith the Lord concerning Samæas the Ælamite, Since Samæas has prophesied to you, and I sent him not, and he has made you to trust in iniquity, | и3 посэщY нaнь и3 на є3гw2 р0дъ и3 на џтроки є3гw2, и3 наведY нaнь и3 на живyщыz во їеrли1мэ и3 на зeмлю їyдину вс‰ ѕл†z, ±же согlахъ на нS, и3 не послyшаша. |

| therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will visit Samæas, and his family: and there shall not be a man of them in the midst of you to see the good which I will do to you: they shall not see it. | И# взS варyхъ сви1токъ другjй и3 вписA въ нeмъ t ќстъ їеремjиныхъ вс‰ словесA кни1ги, ±же сожжE їwакjмъ цaрь їyдинъ: и3 є3щE приложи1шасz є3мY словесA мнHжайша нeже пє1рваz. |
