| Then came all the leaders of the host, and Joanan, and Azarias the son of Maasæas, and all the people great and small, | Къ сынHмъ ґммw6нимъ тaкw гlетъ гDь: є3дA не сyть сhнове ї}лєвы, и3ли2 наслёдника нёсть и5мъ; почто2 u5бо пріS наслёдіе мелх0мъ [цaрь и4хъ] гaда, и3 лю1діе є3гw2 во градёхъ є3гw2 живsху; |

| to Jeremias the prophet, and said to him, Let now our supplication come before thy face, and pray thou to the Lord thy God for this remnant; for we are left few out of many, as thine eyes see. | Сегw2 рaди, сE, днjе грzдyтъ, гlетъ гDь, и3 њглашY на раввafъ сынHвъ ґммHнихъ рaтный звyкъ, и3 бyдетъ въ непрохHднаz и3 въ пaгубу, и3 трє1бища є3гw2 nгнeмъ сожжє1на бyдутъ, и3 воспріи1метъ ї}ль влaсть свою2, гlетъ гDь. |

| And let the Lord thy God declare to us the way wherein we should walk, and the thing which we should do. | Возопjй, є3севHне, ћкw поги1бе гaй: возопjйте, дщє1ри равв†fски, препоsшитесz врeтищами, рыдaйте и3 бёгайте по забрaлwмъ, ћкw мелх0мъ во плёнъ tведeтсz, свzщeнницы и3 кн‰зи є3гw2 вкyпэ. |

| And Jeremias said to them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray for you to the Lord our God, according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever word the Lord God shall answer, I will declare it to you; I will not hide anything from you. | Что2 хвaлишисz во ўд0ліихъ; стечE ўд0ліе твоE, дщи2 безстyднаz, ўповaющаz на бог†тства сво‰, глаг0лющи: кто2 пріи1детъ на мS; |

| And they said to Jeremias, Let the Lord be between us for a just and faithful witness, if we do not according to every word which the Lord shall send to us. | СE, ѓзъ наведY на тS стрaхъ, гlетъ гDь вседержи1тель, t всёхъ сyщихъ w4крестъ тебє2: и3 разсёетесz вси2 t лицA є3гw2, и3 не бyдетъ собирaющагw бэжaщихъ. |

| And whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will hearken to the voice of the Lord our God, to whom we send thee; that it may be well with us, because we shall hearken to the voice of the Lord our God. | И# посeмъ возвращY плённики сынHвъ ґммHнихъ, гlетъ гDь. |

| And it came to pass after ten days, that the word of the Lord came to Jeremias. | Ко їдумeи сі‰ гlетъ гDь вседержи1тель: є3дA є4сть ктомY мyдрость во fемaнэ; поги1бе совётъ t разyмныхъ, непотрeбна бhсть мyдрость и4хъ, |

| And he called Joanan, and the leaders of the host, and all the people from the least even to the greatest, | попрaно бhсть мёсто и4хъ: сни1дите въ пр0пасть къ сэдёнію, живyщіи во дедaнэ: ћкw жeстwкаz сотвори2: (поги1бель и3сavлю) навед0хъ нaнь во врeмz, въ нeже посэти1хъ є3го2. |

| and he said to them, Thus saith the Lord; | Ћкw њб8имaтеліе вінA пріид0ша на тS, не њстaвzтъ тебЁ њстaнкwвъ: ѓки тaтіе въ нощи2 возложaтъ рyки сво‰. |

| If ye will indeed dwell in this land, I will build you, and will not pull you down, but will plant you, and in no wise pluck you up: for I have ceased from the calamities which I brought upon you. | Ћкw (ѓзъ) њбнажи1хъ и3сavа, tкрhхъ т†йнаz є3гw2, не возм0жетъ ўтаи1тисz, поги1бе рук0ю брaта своегw2 и3 сосёда своегw2, |

| Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the Lord: for I am with you, to deliver you, and save you out of their hand. | и3 нёсть њстaтисz сиротЁ твоeй, да живeтъ: ѓзъ же сотворю2 жи1ти, и3 вдови6цы на мS ўповaша. |

| And I will grant you mercy, and pity you, and will restore you to your land. | Тaкw бо гlетъ гDь: сE, и5мже не бЁ зак0на пи1ти чaшу, пію1ще и3спію1тъ: и3 тh ли ѓки непови1нный њстaнешисz; не бyдеши непови1ненъ, но піS и3спіeши. |

| But if ye say, We will not dwell in this land, that we may not hearken to the voice of the Lord; | Соб0ю бо клsхсz, гlетъ гDь, ћкw въ пустhню и3 въ поругaніе и3 въ посмёхъ и3 въ проклsтіе бyдеши посредЁ є3гw2, и3 вси2 грaди є3гw2 бyдутъ въ пустhню вёчную. |

| for we will go into the land of Egypt, and we shall see no war, and shall not hear the sound of a trumpet, and we shall not hunger for bread; and there we will dwell: | Слyхъ слhшахъ t гDа, и3 послHвъ во kзhки послA: собери1тесz и3 и3ди1те проти1ву є3мY и3 востaните на њполчeніе. |

| then hear the word of the Lord; thus saith the Lord; | СE, мaла дaхъ тS во kзhцэхъ и3 поругaема въ лю1дехъ. |

| If ye set your face toward Egypt, and go in there to dwell; then it shall be, that the sword which ye fear shall find you in the land of Egypt, and the famine to which ye have regard, shall overtake you, coming after you in Egypt; and there ye shall die. | И#грaніе твоE прельсти1 тz, безстyдіе сeрдца твоегw2 њбитaше въ разсёлинахъ кaменныхъ, похи1ти крёпость х0лма выс0кагw: є3гдA вознесeши ћкw nрeлъ гнэздо2 своE, tт0лэ свeргу тS, гlетъ гDь. |

| And all the men, and all the strangers who have set their face toward the land of Egypt to dwell there, shall be consumed by the sword, and by the famine: and there shall not one of them escape from the evils which I bring upon them. | И# бyдетъ їдумeа въ запустёніе, всsкъ ходsй чрез8 ню2 подиви1тсz и3 позви1ждетъ над8 всsкою ћзвою є3S. |

| For thus saith the Lord; As my wrath has dropped upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so shall my wrath drop upon you, when ye have entered into Egypt: and ye shall be a desolation, and under the power of others, and a curse and a reproach: and ye shall no more see this place. | Ћкоже превращeна є4сть сод0ма и3 гом0рра и3 сосёди є3S, гlетъ гDь, не поживeтъ тaмw мyжъ, нижE пребyдетъ тaмw сhнъ человёчь. |

| These are the words which the Lord has spoken concerning you the remnant of Juda; Enter ye not into Egypt: and now know ye for a certainty, | СE, ћкоже лeвъ и3зhдетъ t среды2 їoрдaна на мёсто си1льнагw, ћкw ск0рw сотворю2 и5мъ бэжaти t негw2, и3 кто2 бyдетъ и3збрaнъ, є3г0же постaвлю над8 ни1мъ; кт0 бо под0бенъ мнЁ; и3 кто2 противостaнетъ ми2; и3 кто2 є4сть сeй пaстырь, и4же сопроти1витсz лицY моемY; |

| that ye have wrought wickedness in your hearts, when ye sent me, saying, Pray thou for us to the Lord; and according to all that the Lord shall speak to thee we will do. | Сегw2 рaди слhшите совётъ гDень, є3г0же совэщA на є3дHма, и3 ўмышлeніе є3гw2, є4же ўмhсли на живyщихъ во fемaнэ, не свeргутъ ли и5хъ м†лаz t стaдъ, и3 не размeтано ли бyдетъ на ни1хъ жили1ще и4хъ; |

| And ye have not hearkened to the voice of the Lord, with which he sent me to you. | T глaса бо падeніz и4хъ потрzсeсz землS, и3 в0пль на м0ри чермнёмъ слhшасz глaса и4хъ. |

| Now therefore ye shall perish by sword and by famine, in the place which ye desire to go into to dwell there. | СE, ћкw nрeлъ взhдетъ и3 возлети1тъ и3 прострeтъ крилB свои2 над8 твердhньми є3гw2: и3 бyдетъ сeрдце си1льныхъ їдумeйскихъ въ т0й дeнь, ћкw сeрдце жены2 родsщіz. |
