| ἐξεγέρθητι, ψαλτήριον καὶ κιθάρα· ἐξεγερθήσομαι ὄρθρου. | Awake, psaltery and harp; I will awake early. |

| ἐξομολογήσομαί σοι ἐν λαοῖς, Κύριε, ψαλῶ σοι ἐν ἔθνεσιν, | I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, among the people; I will sing praise to thee among the Gentiles. |

| ὅτι μέγα ἐπάνω τῶν οὐρανῶν τὸ ἔλεός σου καὶ ἕως τῶν νεφελῶν ἡ ἀλήθειά σου. | For thy mercy is great above the heavens, and thy truth reaches to the clouds. |

| ὑψώθητι ἐπὶ τοὺς οὐρανούς, ὁ Θεός, καὶ ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν ἡ δόξα σου. | Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; and thy glory above all the earth. |

| ὅπως ἂν ρυσθῶσιν οἱ ἀγαπητοί σου, σῶσον τῇ δεξιᾷ σου καὶ ἐπάκουσόν μου. | That thy beloved ones may be delivered, save with thy right hand, and hear me. God has spoken in his sanctuary; |

| ὁ Θεὸς ἐλάλησεν ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ αὐτοῦ· ὑψωθήσομαι καὶ διαμεριῶ Σίκιμα, καὶ τὴν κοιλάδα τῶν σκηνῶν διαμετρήσω· | I will be exalted, and will divide Sicima, and will measure out the valley of tents. |

| Μωὰβ λέβης τῆς ἐλπίδος μου, ἐπὶ τὴν ᾿Ιδουμαίαν ἐπιβαλῶ τὸ ὑπόδημά μου, ἐμοὶ ἀλλόφυλοι ὑπετάγησαν. | Moab is the caldron of my hope; over Idumea will I cast my sandal; the Philistines are made subject to me. |

| τίς ἀπάξει με εἰς πόλιν περιοχῆς; ἢ τίς ὁδηγήσει με ἕως τῆς ᾿Ιδουμαίας; | Who will bring me into the fortified city? or who will guide me to Idumea? |

| οὐχὶ σύ, ὁ Θεός, ὁ ἀπωσάμενος ἡμᾶς; καὶ οὐκ ἐξελεύσῃ, ὁ Θεός, ἐν ταῖς δυνάμεσιν ἡμῶν; | Wilt not thou, O God, who hast rejected us? and wilt not thou, O God, go forth with our hosts? |

| δὸς ἡμῖν βοήθειαν ἐκ θλίψεως, καὶ ματαία σωτηρία ἀνθρώπου. | Give us help from tribulation: for vain is the help of man. |

| ἐν τῷ Θεῷ ποιήσωμεν δύναμιν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἐξουδενώσει τοὺς ἐχθροὺς ἡμῶν. | Through God we shall do valiantly; and he will bring to nought our enemies. |
