Сло'во и^же бы'сть эT г~а къ і^еремїи. когда` посла` к немђ цр~ь седекїа, фас#сђра сн~а гоlкїа, и^ софо'нїа сн~а манасїа сщ~е'нника рекђщ'и”
|
The Word that came from the Lord to Jeremias, when King Sedekias sent to him Paschor the Son of Melchias, and Sophonias Son of Basæas, the Priest, saying,

Въспроси за на г~а, и^же навходоно'соръ цр~ь вављ=ло'ньскїи ѓ^полчи'ся на наs. а^ще ё^бо сътвори'тъ г~ь с на'ми по всњмᲆ чюдесеM свои^мъ, да эTи'детъ эT наs”
|
Enquire of the Lord for us; for the king of Babylon has risen up against us; if the Lord will do according to all his wonderful works, and the king shall depart from us.

И$ рече і^еремїя к ни'мᲆ. та'ко рцњте седекїи, сїя рече г~ь б~ъ і^и^л~евъ”
|
And Jeremias said to them, Thus shall ye say to Sedekias king of Juda,
|

|
Се^ аZ ѓ^бращђ сосђды браnныя, и^же сђть въ рђка'хъ ва'шиX, и%миже в^ы ѓ^полча'етеся на цр~я вављ=ло'ньска и^ и^ халде'иска, и^же ѓ^б#стоя'тъ ва'съ ѓ%крsтъ стњ'нъ. и^ сᲆберђ т^а по'средᲇ гра'да сего`,
|
Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war wherewith ye fight against the Chaldeans that have besieged you from outside the wall, and I will gather them into the midst of this city.

и^ поборю а%ꙁъ ваs въ рђкђ просᲄертђ, и^ в# мы'шцђ крњпкђ, и^ въ ја%рости и^ въ гнњвњ вели'цњ.
|
And I will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, with wrath and great anger.
|

и^ побїю ѓ^бита'тели гра'да сего, чл~комъ и^ звњремъ гђби'тельство вели'ко да мрђтъ”
|
And I will smite all the dwellers in this city, both men and cattle, with grievous pestilence: and they shall die.
|

И$ посе'мъ рече г~ь, да'мъ седекїа цр~я і^ё'дина и^ рабы` е^го и^ лю'ди е^го і^ иже ѓ^сᲄа'влени сђть въ гра'дњ семᲆ эT гђби'тельства и^ меча и^ гла'доM в# рђ'кђ навходоносо'рђ цр~ю вављ=лоnскђ, и^ в рђкђ врагомъ иX, и^ в рђ'кђ и%щђщиX дш~а иX, и^ побїеT и^хъ ѓ%стрїем# меча`, и^ не ё%кло'нится, ни'же простиT ни'же ё^млрsдитъся.

And after this, thus saith the Lord; I will give Sedekias king of Juda, and his servants, and the people that is left in this city from the pestilence, and from the famine, and from the sword, into the hands of their enemies, that seek their lives: and they shall cut them in pieces with the edge of the sword: I will not spare them, and I will not have compassion upon them.

и^ къ лю'демъ си'мъ речеши” Сїя рече г~ь б~ъ, с^е а%ꙁъ даю` преD ва'ми пђть живоTныи и^ пђть смр~тныи.
|
And thou shalt say to this people, Thus saith the Lord; Behold, I have set before you the way of life, and the way of death.
|

и^же ѓ^бита'етъ во гра'дᲇ семъ ё%мретъ мечемъ и^ гла'домъ и^ гђби'тельствомъ. и^же и^сходя'щь бђ'детъ и^ прибњжи'тъ къ халдњ'ѓм# и^же ѓ^б#стоя'тъ ва'съ, жи'въ бђдеT. и^ бђдетъ е^мђ дш~а е^го ја%ко плњнъ.

He that remains in this city shall die by the sword, and by famine: but he that goes forth to advance to the Chaldeans that have besieged you, shall live, and his life shall be to him for a spoil, and he shall live.

поста'вихъ б^о лице мое` на граD сїи и^ въ зло` и^ не въ бл~го, рече г~ь. въ рђ'кђ цр~я вављ=ло'ньска да'сᲄься, и^ съж#жеT е^го ѓ^гнемъ,
|
For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good: it shall be delivered into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he shall consume it with fire.

|
и^ до'мъ цр~я і^ё'дина” Слы'шите сло'во гн~е
|
O house of the king of Juda, hear ye the word of the Lord.
|
|

|
до'ме двDвъ. реq г~ь, сђди'те заё%тра сђдъ, і^ иꙁба'вите си'лою ё^гнетена эT рђ'кђ клеве'щђщаго. не ё^бо и^зы'детъ ја%рости мое'а ја%ко ѓ%гнь и^ сᲆж#жется, и^ не бђдеT и^же пога'сиT, ради лђка'выхъ мыш#ленїи ва'шихъ.

O house of David, thus saith the Lord; Judge judgment in the morning, and act rightly, and rescue the spoiled one from the hand of him that wrongs him, lest mine anger be kindled like fire, and it burn, and there be none to quench it.

с^е а%ꙁъ к тебњ ѓ^бита'ющђ въ крњпцњ и^ по'лнњ ё^долїи, рече г~ь. и^же гл~ете кт^о побїет# наs, и^ кт^о вни'детъ въ домы` на'ша.
|
Behold, I am against thee that dwellest in the valley of Sor; in the plain country, even against them that say, Who shall alarm us? or who shall enter into our habitation?

и^ посњщђ на ва'съ по' плоти мышленїи ва'шим#, рече г~ь. и^ въж#гђ ѓ%гнь в лᲇсњ е^го, и^ пожретъ вс^я ѓ%крsтъ е^го”
|
And I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.
