(Зач. 78) Бя́ху же приближа́ющеся к Нему́ всі ми́таріє і грі́шници, послу́шати Єго́.
|
Now all the publicans and sinners were drawing near unto him to hear him.
|

|
І ропта́ху фарисе́є і кни́жници, глаго́люще, я́ко Сей грі́шники приє́млеть і с ни́ми ясть.
|
And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.
|
|

|
|
Рече́ же к ним при́тчу сію́, глаго́ля:
|
And he spake unto them this parable, saying,
|
|

|
|
кий челові́к от вас іми́й сто ове́ць і погу́бль єди́ну от них, не оста́вить ли дев'яти́десяти і дев'яти́ в пусти́ні, і і́деть вслід поги́бшия, до́ндеже обря́щеть ю́?
|
What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it?
|

|
І обрі́т возлага́єть на ра́мі свої́ ра́дуяся;
|
And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
|
|

|
|
і прише́д в дом, созива́єть дру́ги і сосі́ди, глаго́ля їм: ра́дуйтеся со мно́ю, я́ко обріто́х овцю́ мою́ поги́бшую.
|
And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and his neighbors, saying unto them, Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost.
|

|
Глаго́лю вам, я́ко та́ко ра́дость бу́деть на небесі́ о єди́ном грі́шниці ка́ющемся, не́жели о дев'яти́десятих і дев'яти́ пра́ведник, і́же не тре́бують покая́нія.
|
I say unto you, that even so there shall be joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine righteous persons, who need no repentance.
|

|
Іли́ ка́я жена́ іму́щи де́сять драхм, а́ще погуби́ть дра́хму єди́ну, не вжига́єть ли світи́льника, і помете́ть хра́мину, і і́щеть прилі́жно, до́ндеже обря́щеть?
|
Or what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a lamp, and sweep the house, and seek diligently until she find it?
|

|
І обрі́тши созива́єть други́ні і сосі́ди, глаго́лющи: ра́дуйтеся со мно́ю, я́ко обріто́х дра́хму поги́бшую.
|
And when she hath found it, she calleth together her friends and her neighbors, saying, Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I had lost.
|

Та́ко, глаго́лю вам, ра́дость бива́єть пред А́нгели Бо́жиїми о єди́ном грі́шниці ка́ющемся.
|
Even so, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.
|

|
(Зач. 79) Рече́ же: челові́к ні́кий імі́ два си́на;
|
And he said, A certain man had two sons:
|

|
|
і рече́ юні́йшій єю́ [от них] отцю́: о́тче, даждь мі досто́йную часть імі́нія. І разділи́ ї́ма імі́ніє.
|
and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of thy substance that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living.
|

|
І не по мно́зіх днех собра́в все мній син, оти́де на страну́ дале́че, і ту расточи́ імі́ніє своє́, живи́й блу́дно.
|
And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together and took his journey into a far country; and there he wasted his substance with riotous living.
|

|
Ізжи́вшу же єму́ все, бисть глад крі́пок на страні́ той, і той нача́т лиша́тися.
|
And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that country; and he began to be in want.
|
|

|
|
І шед приліпи́ся єди́ному от жи́тель тоя́ страни́; і посла́ єго́ на се́ла своя́ пасти́ свинія́.
|
And he went and joined himself to one of the citizens of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
|
|

|
І жела́ше наси́тити чре́во своє́ от роже́ць, я́же ядя́ху свинія́, і нікто́же дая́ше єму́.
|
And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.
|
|

|
В себе́ же прише́д, рече́: коли́ко нає́мником отця́ моєго́ ізбива́ють хлі́би, аз же гла́дом ги́блю?
|
But when he came to himself he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
|

|
|
Воста́в іду́ ко отцю́ моєму́, і реку́ єму́: о́тче, согріши́х на не́бо і пред тобо́ю,
|
I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight:
|
|

|
|
і уже́ нісьм досто́їн нарещи́ся син твой? сотвори́ м'я я́ко єди́наго от нає́мник твої́х.
|
and I am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.
|
|

|
|
І воста́в і́де ко отцю́ своєму́. Єще́ же єму́ дале́че су́щу, узрі́ єго́ оте́ць єго́, і мил єму́ бисть, і тек нападе́ на ви́ю єго́, і облобиза́ єго́.
|
And he arose, and came to his father. But while he was yet afar off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
|

|
Рече́ же єму́ син: о́тче, согріши́х на не́бо і пред тобо́ю, і уже́ нісьм досто́їн нарещи́ся син твой.
|
And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight: and I am no more worthy to be called thy son.
|
|

|
Рече́ же оте́ць к рабо́м свої́м: ізнесі́те оде́жду пе́рвую і облеці́те єго́, і даді́те пе́рстень на ру́ку єго́ і сапоги́ на но́зі;
|
But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:

|
і приве́дше теле́ць упита́нний заколі́те, і я́дше веселі́мся;
|
and bring the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat, and make merry:
|

|
|
я́ко син мо́й сей мертв бі, і оживе́; і ізги́бл бі, і обрі́теся. І нача́ша весели́тися.
|
for this my son was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.
|
|

|
|
Бі же син єго́ ста́рій на селі́; і я́ко гряди́й прибли́жися к до́му, сли́ша пі́ніє і ли́ки;
|
Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard music and dancing.
|

|
|
і призва́в єди́наго от о́трок, вопроша́ше: что [у́бо] сія́ суть?
|
And he called to him one of the servants, and inquired what these things might be.
|
|

|
|
Он же рече́ єму́, я́ко брат твой при́йде; і закла́ оте́ць твой тельця́ упита́нна, я́ко здра́ва єго́ прия́т.
|
And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
|

|
Разгні́вася же, і не хотя́ше вни́ти. Оте́ць же єго́ ізше́д моля́ше єго́.
|
But he was angry, and would not go in: therefore his father came out, and entreated him.
|

|
Он же отвіща́в рече́ отцю́: се толи́ко літ рабо́таю тебі́, і ніколи́же за́повіді твоя́ преступи́х, і мні ніколи́же дал єси́ козля́те, да со дру́ги свої́ми возвесели́лся бих;
|
But he answered and said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, and I never transgressed a commandment of thine; and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

|
єгда́ же син твой сей, із'яди́й твоє́ імі́ніє с любоді́йцями, при́йде, закла́л єси́ єму́ тельця́ пито́маго.
|
but when this thy son came, who hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou killedst for him the fatted calf.
|

|
|
Он же рече́ єму́: ча́до, ти всегда́ со мно́ю єси́ і вся моя́ твоя́ суть;
|
And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that is mine is thine.
|

|
|
возвесели́тижеся і возра́довати подоба́ше, я́ко брат твой сей мертв бі, і оживе́; і ізги́бл бі, і обрі́теся.
|
But it was meet to make merry and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
