(Зач. 94) І вшед прохожда́ше Ієрихо́н.
|
And he entered and was passing through Jericho.
|
|

|
|
І се муж нарица́ємий Закхе́й, і сей бі ста́рій митаре́м, і той бі бога́т;
|
And behold, a man called by name Zacchaeus; and he was a chief publican, and he was rich.
|
|

|

|
|
і іска́ше ви́діти Ісу́са, кто єсть, і не можа́ше от наро́да, я́ко во́зрастом мал бі;
|
And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the crowd, because he was little of stature.
|
|

|
|
і предите́к, возлі́зе на я́годичину, да ви́дить, я́ко хотя́ше ми́мо єя́ пройти́.
|
And he ran on before, and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
|
|

|
|
І я́ко при́йде на мі́сто, воззрі́в Ісу́с ви́ді єго́, і рече́ к нему́: Закхе́є, потща́вся слі́зи, днесь бо в дому́ твоє́м подоба́єть Мі би́ти.
|
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for today I must abide at thy house.
|

|
І потща́вся слі́зе, і прия́т Єго́ ра́дуяся.
|
And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
|
|

|
|
І ви́дівше всі ропта́ху, глаго́люще, я́ко ко грі́шну му́жу вни́де вита́ти.
|
And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He is gone in to lodge with a man that is a sinner.
|
|

|
|
Став же Закхе́й рече́ ко Го́споду: се пол імі́нія моєго́, Го́споди, дам ни́щим і, а́ще кого́ чим оби́діх, возвращу́ четвери́цею.
|
And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord, Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wrongfully exacted aught of any man, I restore fourfold.
|

|
Рече́ же к нему́ Ісу́с: я́ко днесь спасе́ніє до́му сему́ бисть, зане́ і сей син Авраа́мль єсть;
|
And Jesus said unto him, Today is salvation come to this house, forasmuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
|
|

|
|
при́йде бо Син Челові́ч взиска́ти і спасти́ поги́бшаго.
|
For the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost.
|
|

|
|
Сли́шащим же їм сія́, прило́ж рече́ при́тчу, зане́ близ Єму́ би́ти Ієрусали́ма, і мня́ху, я́ко а́біє Ца́рство Бо́жиє хо́щеть яви́тися.
|
And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they supposed that the kingdom of God was immediately to appear.
|

|
Рече́ у́бо: (Зач. 90) челові́к ні́кий добра́ ро́да і́де на страну́ дале́че, прия́ти себі́ ца́рство і возврати́тися.
|
He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country, to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
|
|

|
|
Призва́в же де́сять раб свої́х, даде́ їм де́сять мнас, і рече́ к ним: ку́плю ді́йте, до́ндеже прийду́.
|
And he called ten servants of his, and gave them ten pounds, and said unto them, Trade ye herewith till I come.
|
|

|
|
І гра́ждане єго́ ненави́дяху єго́, і посла́ша посли́ вслід єго́, глаго́люще: не хо́щем сему́, да ца́рствуєть над на́ми.
|
But his citizens hated him, and sent an embassage after him, saying, We will not that this man reign over us.
|
|

|
І бисть єгда́ возврати́ся приї́м ца́рство, рече́ пригласи́ти раби́ ти́я, ї́мже даде́ сребро́, да уві́сть, какову́ ку́плю суть сотвори́ли.
|
And it came to pass, when he was come back again, having received the kingdom, that he commanded these servants, unto whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know who had gained what by trading.
|

|
При́йде же пе́рвий, глаго́ля: го́споди, мнас твоя́ приді́ла де́сять мнас.
|
And the first came before him, saying, Lord, thy pound hath made ten pounds more.
|
|

|
|
І рече́ єму́: бла́го, ра́бе до́брий: я́ко о ма́лі ві́рен бил єси́, бу́ди о́бласть імі́я над десятію́ градо́в.
|
And he said unto him, Well done, thou good servant: because thou wast found faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
|

|
І при́йде втори́й, глаго́ля: го́споди, мнас твоя́ сотвори́ п'ять мнас.
|
And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath made five pounds.
|
|

|
|
Рече́ же і тому́: і ти бу́ди над пятію́ градо́в.
|
And he said unto him also, Be thou also over five cities.
|
|

|
|
І други́й при́йде, глаго́ля: го́споди, се мнас твоя́, ю́же імі́х положе́ну во убру́сі;
|
And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I kept laid up in a napkin:
|

|
|
боя́хся бо тебе́, я́ко челові́к яр єси́, взе́млеши, єго́же не положи́л єси́, і жне́ши, єго́же не сі́ял єси́.
|
for I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that which thou laidst not down, and reapest that which thou didst not sow.
|

|
Глаго́ла же єму́: от уст твої́х сужду́ ті, лука́вий ра́бе! Ві́діл єси́, я́ко аз челові́к яр єсьм, взе́млю, єго́же не положи́х, і жну, єго́же не сі́ях;
|
And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up that which I laid not down, and reaping that which I did not sow;

|
і почто́ не вдал єси́ моєго́ сребра́ купце́м, і аз прише́д с ли́хвою істяза́л бих є?
|
then wherefore gavest thou not my money into a bank, and I at my coming should have required it with interest?
|
|

|
|
І предстоя́щим рече́: возьмі́те от него́ мнас, і даді́те іму́щему де́сять мнас.
|
And he said unto them that stood by, Take away from him the pound, and give it unto him that hath the ten pounds.
|
|

|
І рі́ша єму́: го́споди, і́мать де́сять мнас.
|
And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.
|
|

|
|
Глаго́лю бо вам, я́ко вся́кому іму́щему да́сться, а от неіму́щаго, і є́же і́мать, оти́меться от него́;
|
For I say unto you, that unto everyone that hath shall be given; but from him that hath not, even that which he hath shall be taken away from him.
|

|
|
оба́че враги́ моя́ о́ни, і́же не восхоті́ша мене́, да цар бих бил над ни́ми, приведі́те сі́мо і ізсіці́те пре́до мно́ю.
|
But those mine enemies, that would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay before me.
|

|
І сія́ рек, ідя́ше преди́, восходя́ во Ієрусали́м.
|
And when he had thus spoken, he went on before, going up to Jerusalem.
|

|
|
(Зач. 96) І бисть я́ко прибли́жися в Вифсфагі́ю і Вифа́нію, к горі́ нарица́ємій Єлео́н, посла́ два учени́к Свої́х,
|
And it came to pass, when he drew nigh unto Bethsphage and Bethany, at the mount that is called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,

|
глаго́ля: іді́та в пря́мную весь, (і) в ню́же входя́ща обря́щета жреб'я́ прив'я́зано, на не́же нікто́же ніколи́же от челові́к всі́де; отрі́шша є приведі́та.
|
saying, Go your way into the village over against you; in which as ye enter ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat: loose him, and bring him.
|

|
І а́ще кто ви вопроша́єть: почто́ отріша́єта, си́це рці́та єму́, я́ко Госпо́дь єго́ тре́буєть.
|
And if anyone ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, The Lord hath need of him.
|

|
|
Ше́дша же по́сланная обріто́ста, я́коже рече́ ї́ма.
|
And they that were sent went away, and found even as he had said unto them.
|
|

|
|
Отріша́ющема же ї́ма жреб'я́, реко́ша госпо́діє єго́ к ни́ма: что отріша́єта жреб'я́?
|
And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
|

|
|
О́на же реко́ста, я́ко Госпо́дь єго́ тре́буєть.
|
And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
|
|

|
|
І приведо́ста є ко Ісу́сові, і, возве́ргше ри́зи своя́ на жреб'я́, всади́ша Ісу́са.
|
And they brought him to Jesus: and they threw their garments upon the colt, and set Jesus thereon.
|
|

|
|
Іду́щу же Єму́, постила́ху ри́зи своя́ по путі́.
|
And as he went, they spread their garments in the way.
|
|

|
|
(Зач. 97) Приближа́ющужеся Єму́ уже́ (а́біє) к низхожде́нію горі́ Єлео́нстій, нача́ша все мно́жество учени́к ра́дующеся хвали́ти Бо́га гла́сом ве́ліїм о всіх си́лах, я́же ви́діша,
|
And as he was now drawing nigh, even at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen;

|
глаго́люще: благослове́н гряди́й Цар во і́м'я Госпо́днє! Мир на небесі́ і сла́ва в ви́шніх!
|
saying, Blessed is the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
|

|
|
І ні́ції фарисе́є от наро́да рі́ша к Нему́: Учи́телю, запрети́ ученико́м Твої́м.
|
And some of the Pharisees from the multitude said unto him, Teacher, rebuke thy disciples.
|
|

|
|
І отвіща́в рече́ їм: глаго́лю вам, я́ко, а́ще сі́ї умолча́ть, ка́меніє возопіє́ть.
|
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out.
|
|

|
|
І я́ко прибли́жися, ви́дів град, пла́кася о нем,
|
And when he drew nigh, he saw the city and wept over it,
|
|
42
|
42
|
|
глаго́ля: я́ко а́ще би разумі́л і ти, в день сей твой, є́же к смире́нію [к ми́ру] твоєму́! Ни́ні же скри́ся от о́чію твоє́ю;
|
saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hidden from thine eyes.
|

|
я́ко при́йдуть дні́є на тя, і обложа́ть вразі́ твої́ остро́г о тебі́, і оби́дуть тя, і оби́муть тя отвсю́ду,
|
For the days shall come upon thee, when thine enemies shall cast up a bank about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,

|
|
і разбію́ть тя і ча́да твоя́ в тебі́, і не оста́в'ять ка́мень на ка́мені в тебі́, поне́же не разумі́л єси́ вре́мене посіще́нія твоєго́.
|
and shall dash thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

|
(Зач. 98) І вшед в це́рков, нача́т ізгони́ти продаю́щия в ней і купу́ющия,
|
And he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought,
|

|
глаго́ля їм: пи́сано єсть: дом Мо́й дом моли́тви єсть, ви же сотвори́сте єго́ пеще́ру разбо́йником.
|
saying unto them, It is written, My house is a house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of robbers.
|
|

|
|
І бі учя́ по вся дні в це́ркві. Архієре́є же і кни́жници іска́ху Єго́ погуби́ти, і старі́йшини лю́дем.
|
And he was teaching daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the principal men of the people sought to destroy him:

|
|
І не обріта́ху, что би сотвори́ли Єму́, лю́діє бо всі держа́хуся Єго́, послу́шающе Єго́.
|
and they could not find what they might do; for the people all hung upon him, listening.
|
