Рече́ же ко ученико́м Свої́м: не возмо́жно єсть не прийти́ собла́зном, го́ре же, єго́же ра́ди прихо́дять;
|
And he said unto the disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come!
|

|
у́ніє єму́ би́ло би, а́ще же́рнов осе́льський облежа́л би о ви́ї єго́ і вве́ржен в мо́ре, не́же да соблазни́ть от ма́лих сих єди́наго.
|
It were well for him if a millstone were hung about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.
|

(Зач. 84) Внемлі́те себі́. А́ще согріши́ть к тебі́ брат твой, запрети́ єму́; і а́ще пока́ється, оста́ви єму́;
|
Take heed to yourselves: and if thy brother sin against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
|

|
і а́ще седми́щи на день согріши́ть к тебі́, і седми́щи на день обрати́ться, глаго́ля: ка́юся, — оста́ви єму́.
|
And if he sin against thee seven times in the day, and seven times in the day turn again, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
|

|
І реко́ша апо́столи Го́сподеві: приложи́ нам ві́ру.
|
And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
|

|
Рече́ же Госпо́дь: а́ще би́сте імі́ли ві́ру, я́ко зерно́ гору́шно, глаго́лали би́сте у́бо я́годичині сей: восто́ргнися і всади́ся в мо́ре, і послу́шала би вас.
|
And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye would say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou planted in the sea; and it would obey you.
|

|
Кото́рий же от вас раба́ імі́я орю́ща іли́ пасу́ща, і́же прише́дшу єму́ с села́ рече́ть: а́біє мину́в [прише́д] возля́зи?
|
But who is there of you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say straightaway, when he is come in from the field, Come and sit down to meat;
|

|
Но не рече́ть ли єму́: угото́вай, что вечеря́ю і, препоя́сався, служи́ мі, до́ндеже ям і пію́, і пото́м я́си і піє́ши ти?
|
and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
|

|
Єда́ і́мать хвалу́ [благодари́ть] рабу́ тому́, я́ко сотвори́ повелі́нная? Не мню.
|
Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded? I think not.
|
|

|
Та́ко і ви, єгда́ сотворите́ вся повелі́нная вам, глаго́літе, я́ко раби́ неключи́ми єсьми́; я́ко, є́же до́лжні бі́хом сотвори́ти, сотвори́хом.
|
Even so ye also, when ye shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; for we have done that which it was our duty to do.
|

|
І бисть іду́щу Єму́ во Ієрусали́м, і той прохожда́ше между́ Сама́рією і Галиле́єю.
|
And it came to pass, as he was on the way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.
|

|
(Зач. 80) Входя́щу же Єму́ в ні́кую весь, сріто́ша Єго́ де́сять прокаже́нних муже́й, і́же ста́ша іздале́ча;
|
And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood afar off:
|

|
|
і ті́ї вознесо́ша глас, глаго́люще: Ісу́се Наста́вниче, поми́луй ни.
|
and they lifted up their voices, saying, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
|
|

|
|
І ви́дів рече́ їм: ше́дше покажі́теся свяще́нником. І бисть іду́щим їм, очи́стишася.
|
And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go and show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, as they went, they were cleansed.
|

|
Єди́н же от них, ви́дів, я́ко ісцілі́, возврати́ся, со гла́сом ве́ліїм сла́в'я Бо́га,
|
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, with a loud voice glorifying God;
|
|

|
|
і паде́ ниць при ногу́ Єго́, хвалу́ Єму́ воздая́; і той бі Самаряни́н.
|
and he fell upon his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
|
|

|
|
Отвіща́в же Ісу́с рече́: не де́сять ли очи́стишася? Да де́в'ять гді?
|
And Jesus answered and said, Were not the ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
|
|

|
|
Ка́ко не обріто́шася возвра́щшеся да́ти сла́ву Бо́гу, то́кмо іноплеме́нник сей?
|
Were there none found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger?
|
|

|
|
І рече́ єму́: воста́в іди́; ві́ра твоя́ спасе́ тя.
|
And he said unto him, Arise, and go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
|
|

|
(Зач. 86) Вопроше́н же бив от фарисе́й, когда́ при́йдеть Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє, отвіща́в їм рече́: не при́йдеть Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє с соблюде́нієм [со усмотре́нієм];
|
And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:

|
ніже́ реку́ть: се зді́, іли́: о́нді. Се бо Ца́рствіє Бо́жиє внутр вас єсть.
|
neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, Lo, there! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.
|

|
|
Рече́ же ко ученико́м (Свої́м): при́йдуть дні́є, єгда́ вожделі́єте єди́наго дне Си́на Челові́чеськаго ви́діти, і не у́зрите.
|
And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
|

|
І реку́ть вам: се зді́, іли́: се, о́нді, — не ізи́діте, ні пожені́те.
|
And they shall say to you, Lo, here! or, Lo, there! go not away, nor follow after them:
|

|
|
Я́ко бо мо́лнія блиста́ющися от поднебе́сния на поднебе́сній сві́титься, та́ко бу́деть Син Челові́чеський в день Свой.
|
for as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall the Son of man be in his day.
|

Пре́жде же подоба́єть Єму́ мно́го пострада́ти і іскуше́ну [отве́ржену] би́ти от ро́да сего́.
|
But first must he suffer many things and be rejected of this generation.
|

|
(Зач. 87) І я́коже бисть во дні Но́єви, та́ко бу́деть і во дні Си́на Челові́чеська:
|
And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
|
|

|
|
ядя́ху, пія́ху, женя́хуся, посяга́ху, до него́же дне вни́де Но́є в ковче́г; і при́йде пото́п, і погуби́ вся.
|
They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
|

|
Та́кожде і я́коже бисть во дні Ло́тови: ядя́ху, пія́ху, купова́ху, продая́ху, сажда́ху, зда́ху;
|
Likewise also as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built;
|

|
|
во́ньже день ізи́де Лот от Содо́млян, одожди́ ка́мик горя́щ і огнь с небесе́ і погуби́ вся.
|
but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:
|

|
|
По тому́же бу́деть і в день, во́ньже Син Челові́чеський яви́ться.
|
after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.
|
|

|
|
В той день, і́же бу́деть на кро́ві, і сосу́ди єго́ в дому́, да не сла́зить взя́ти їх; і і́же на селі́, та́кожде да не возврати́ться всп'ять;
|
In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and let him that is in the field likewise not return back.

|
помина́йте жену́ Ло́тову.
|
Remember Lot’s wife.
|

|
|
І́же а́ще взи́щеть ду́шу свою́ спасти́, погуби́ть ю́; і і́же а́ще погуби́ть ю́, живи́ть ю́.
|
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose it shall preserve it.
|

|
Глаго́лю вам: в ту нощ бу́дета два на одрі́ єди́ном: єди́н поє́млеться, а други́й оставля́ється.
|
I say unto you, In that night there shall be two men on one bed; one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
|

|
|
Бу́деті дві вку́пі ме́лющі: єди́на поє́млеться, а друга́я оставля́ється.
|
Two women shall be grinding together; one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
|
|

|
|
Два бу́дета на селі́: єди́н поє́млеться, а други́й оставля́ється.
|
And answering, they say unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
|

|
|
І отвіща́вше глаго́лаша Єму́: гді, Го́споди? Он же рече́ їм: іді́же ті́ло, та́мо соберу́ться і орли́.
