Chapter 15	Глава 15

And in the eighteenth year of the reign of Jeroboam son of Nabat, Abiu son of Roboam reigns over Juda.	У вісімнадцятий рік царювання Ієровоама, сина Наватового, Авия став царем над юдеями.

And he reigned three years over Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Maacha, daughter of Abessalom.	Три роки він царював у Єрусалимі; ім’я матері його Мааха, дочка Авессалома.

And he walked in the sins of his father which he wrought in his presence, and his heart was not perfect with the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David.	Він ходив у всіх гріхах батька свого, які той робив раніше нього, і серце його не було віддане Господу Богу його, як серце Давида, батька його.

Howbeit for David's sake the Lord gave him a remnant, that he might establish his children after him, and might establish Jerusalem.	Але заради Давида Господь Бог його дав йому світильник в Єрусалимі, поставивши після нього сина його й утвердивши Єрусалим,

Forasmuch as David did that which was right in the sight of the Lord: he turned not from any thing that he commanded him all the days of his life.	тому що Давид робив угодне перед очима Господа і не відступав від усього того, що Він заповів йому, в усі дні життя свого, крім вчинку з Урією хеттеянином.

And the rest of the history of Abiu, and all that he did, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda? And there was war between Abiu and Jeroboam.	Інші діла Авиї, усе, що він зробив, записано в літописі царів юдейських. І була війна між Авиєю і Ієровоамом.

And Abiu slept with his fathers in the twenty-fourth year of Jeroboam; and he is buried with his fathers in the city of David: and Asa his son reigns in his stead.	І спочив Авия з батьками своїми, і поховали його в місті Давидовому. І став царем Аса, син його, замість нього.

In the four and twentieth year of Jeroboam king of Israel, Asa begins to reign over Juda.	У двадцятий рік царювання Ієровоама, царя Ізраїльського, став царем Аса над юдеями

And he reigned forty-one years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Ana, daughter of Abessalom.	і сорок один рік царював у Єрусалимі; ім’я матері його Ана́, дочка Авессалома.

And Asa did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, as David his father.	Аса робив угодне перед очима Господа, як Давид, батько його.

And he removed the sodomites out of the land, and abolished all the practices which his fathers had kept up.	Він вигнав блудників із землі і викинув усіх ідолів, яких зробили батьки його,

And he removed Ana his mother from being queen, forasmuch as she gathered a meeting in her grove: and Asa cut down her retreats, and burnt them with fire in the brook of Kedron.	і навіть матір свою Ану́ позбавив звання цариці за те, що вона зробила ідола Астарти; і порубав Аса ідола її і спалив біля потоку Кедрона.

But he removed not the high places; nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect with the Lord all his days.	Висоти ж не були знищені. Але серце Аси було віддано Господу в усі дні його.

And he brought in the pillars of his father, he even brought in his gold and silver pillars into the house of the Lord, and his vessels.	І вніс він у дім Господній речі, освячені батьком його, і речі, освячені ним: срібло і золото і сосуди.

And there was war between Asa and Baasa king of Israel all their days.	І війна була між Асою і Ваасою, царем Ізраїльським, в усі дні їхні.

And Baasa king of Israel went up against Juda, and built Rama, so that no one should go out or come in for Asa king of Juda.	І вийшов Вааса, цар Ізраїльський, проти Юдеї і почав будувати Раму, щоб ніхто не виходив і не йшов до Аси, царя Юдейського.

And Asa took all the silver and the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of the Lord, and in the treasures of the king's house, and gave them into the hands of his servants; and king Asa sent them out to the son of Ader, the son of Taberema son of Azin king of Syria, who dwelt in Damascus, saying,	І взяв Аса все срібло і золото, що залишалося в скарбницях дому Господнього й у скарбницях дому царського, і дав його в руки слуг своїх, і послав їх цар Аса до Венадада, сина Тавримона, сина Хезионового, царя Сирійського, який жив у Дамаску, і сказав:

Make a covenant between me and thee, and between my father and thy father: lo! I have sent forth to thee gold and silver for gifts: come, break thy league with Baasa king of Israel, that he may go up from me.	союз нехай буде між мною і між тобою, як був між батьком моїм і між батьком твоїм; ось, я посилаю тобі в дарунок срібло і золото; розірви союз твій з Ваасою, царем Ізраїльським, щоб він відійшов від мене.

And the son of Ader hearkened to king Asa, and sent the chiefs of his forces to the cities of Israel; and they smote Ain, Dan, and Abel of the house of Maacha, and all Chennereth, as far as the whole land of Nephthali.	І послухався Венадад царя Аси, і послав воєначальників своїх проти міст ізраїльських, і вразив Аїн і Дан і Авел-Беф-Мааху і весь Киннероф, по всій землі Неффалима.

And it came to pass when Baasa heard it, that he left off building Rama, and returned to Thersa.	Почувши про це , Вааса припинив будувати Раму і повернувся у Фирцу.

And king Asa charged all Juda without exception: and they take up the stones of Rama and its timbers with which Baasa was building; and king Asa built with them upon the whole hill of Benjamin, and the watch-tower.	Цар же Аса скликав усіх юдеїв, нікого не виключаючи, і винесли вони з Рами каміння і дерева, що Вааса вживав для будівництва. І побудував з них цар Аса Гиву Веніамінову і Мицпу.

And the rest of the history of Asa, and all his mighty deeds which he wrought, and the cities which he built, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda? Nevertheless in the time of his old age he was diseased in his feet.	Всі інші діла Аси і всі подвиги його, і все, що він зробив, і міста, які він побудував, описані у літописі царів юдейських, крім того, що в старості своїй він був хворий на ноги.

And Asa slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father: and Josaphat his son reigns in his stead.	І спочив Аса з батьками своїми і похований з батьками своїми в місті Давида, батька свого. І став царем Іосафат, син його, замість нього.

And Nabat son of Jeroboam reigns over Israel in the second year of Asa king of Juda, and he reigned two years in Israel.	Нават же, син Ієровоамів, став царем над Ізраїлем на другий рік Аси, царя Юдейського, і царював над Ізраїлем два роки.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the way of his father, and in his sins wherein he caused Israel to sin.	І робив він неугодне перед очима Господа, ходив шляхом батька свого і в гріхах його, якими той увів Ізраїля у гріх.

And Baasa son of Achia, who was over the house of Belaan son of Achia, conspired against him, and smote him in Gabathon of the Philistines; for Nabat and all Israel were besieging Gabathon.	І зробив проти нього змову Вааса, син Ахиї, з дому Іссахарового, й убив його Вааса біля Гавафона филистимського, коли Нават і всі ізраїльтяни облягали Гавафон:

And Baasa slew him in the third year of Asa son of Asa king of Juda; and reigned in his stead.	і умертвив його Вааса на третій рік Аси, царя Юдейського, і став царем замість нього.

And it came to pass when he reigned, that he smote the whole house of Jeroboam, and left none that breathed of Jeroboam, until he had destroyed him utterly, according to the word of the Lord which he spoke by his servant Achia the Selonite,	Коли він став царем, то вибив увесь дім Ієровоамів, не залишив ні душі в Ієровоама, доки не знищив його, за словом Господа, яке Він прорік через раба Свого Ахию силомлянина,

And the rest of the history of Nabat, and all that he did, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?	Інші діла Навата, все, що він зробив, описано в літописі царів ізраїльських.

And in the third year of Asa king of Juda, Baasa the son of Achia begins to reign over Israel in Thersa, twenty and four years.	На третій рік Аси, царя Юдейського, став царем Вааса, син Ахиї, над усіма ізраїльтянами у Фирці і царював двадцять чотири роки.

And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and walked in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, and in his sins, as he caused Israel to sin.	І робив неугодне перед очима Господніми і ходив шляхом Ієровоама й у гріхах його, якими той увів у гріх Ізраїля.
