Chapter 7	Глава 7

And king Solomon sent, and took Chiram out of Tyre,	А свій дім Соломон будував тринадцять років і закінчив увесь дім свій.

the son of a widow woman; and he was of the tribe of Nephthalim, and his father was a Tyrian; a worker in brass, and accomplished in art and skill and knowledge to work every work in brass: and he was brought in to king Solomon, and he wrought all the works.	І побудував він дім з дерева ливанського, довжиною в сто ліктів, шириною у п’ятдесят ліктів, а висотою у тридцять ліктів, на чотирьох рядах кедрових стовпів; і кедрові колоди покладені були на стовпах.

And he cast the two pillars for the porch of the house: eighteen cubits was the height of each pillar, and a circumference of fourteen cubits encompassed it, even the thickness of the pillar: the flutings were four fingers wide, and thus was the other pillar formed.	І настелений був поміст із кедра над колодами на сорока п’яти стовпах, по п’ятнадцять у ряд.

And he made two molten chapiters to put on the heads of the pillars: five cubits was the height of one chapiter, and five cubits was the height of the other chapiter.	Віконних луток було три ряди; і три ряди вікон , вікно навпроти вікна.

And he made two ornaments of net-work to cover the chapiters of the pillars; even a net for one chapiter, and a net for the other chapiter.	І всі двері й одвірки були чотирикутні, і вікно навпроти вікна, у три ряди.

And hanging work, two rows of brazen pomegranates, formed with net-work, hanging work, row upon row: and thus he framed the ornaments for the second chapiter.	І притвор із стовпів зробив він довжиною у п’ятдесят ліктів, шириною у тридцять ліктів, і перед ними ґанок, і стовпи, і поріг перед ними.

And he set up the pillars of the porch of the temple: and he set up the one pillar, and called its name Jachum: and he set up the second pillar, and called its name Boloz.	Ще притвор із престолом, з якого він судив, притвор для судилища зробив він і покрив усі підлоги кедром.

And on the heads of the pillars he made lily-work against the porch, of four cubits,	У домі, де він жив, інший двір позаду притвору був так само влаштований. І в домі дочки фараонової, яку взяв за себе Соломон, він зробив такий самий притвор.

and a chamber over both the pillars, and above the sides an addition equal to the chamber in width.	Усе це зроблено було з дорогих каменів, обтесаних за розміром, обрізаних пилою, з внутрішнього і з зовнішнього боку, від підвалин до виступів, і з зовнішнього боку до великого двору.

And he made the sea, ten cubits from one rim to the other, the same was completely circular round about: its height was five cubits, and its circumference thirty-three cubits.	І в основу покладені були камені дорогі, камені великі, камені в десять ліктів і камені у вісім ліктів,

And stays underneath its rim round about compassed it ten cubits round;	і зверху дорогі камені, обтесані за розміром, і кедр.

And there were twelve oxen under the sea; three looking to the north, and three looking to the west, and three looking to the south, and three looking to the east: and all their hinder parts were inward, and the sea was above upon them.	І послав цар Соломон і взяв з Тира Хирама,

And he made ten brazen bases: five cubits was the length of one base, and four cubits the breadth of it, and its height was six cubits.	сина однієї вдови, з коліна Неффалимового. Батько його тирянин був мідник; він володів здатністю, мистецтвом і вмінням виробляти всякі речі з міді. І прийшов він до царя Соломона і виконував у нього всякі роботи:

And this work of the bases was formed with a border to them, and there was a border between the ledges.	і зробив він два мідних стовпи, кожен у вісімнадцять ліктів висотою, і шнур у дванадцять ліктів обіймав навкруги один і другий стовпи;

And upon their borders between the projections were lions, and oxen, and cherubs: and on the projections, even so above, and also below were the places of lions and oxen, hanging work.	і два вінці, відлитих з міді, він зробив, щоб покласти наверху стовпів: п’ять ліктів висоти в одному вінці і п’ять ліктів висоти у другому вінці;

And there were four brazen wheels to one base; and there were brazen bases, and their four sides answering to them, side pieces under the bases.	сітки плетеної роботи і шнури у вигляді ланцюжків для вінців, що були наверху стовпів: сім на одному вінці і сім на другому вінці.

And there were axles in the wheels under the base. And the height of one wheel was a cubit and a half.	Так зробив він стовпи і два ряди гранатових яблук навколо сітки, щоб покрити вінці, що наверху стовпів; те саме зробив і для другого вінця.

And the work of the wheels was as the work of chariot wheels: their axles, and their felloes, and the rest of their work, were all molten.	А в притворі вінці наверху стовпів зроблені на зразок лілеї, у чотири лікті,

The four side-pieces were at the four corners of each base; its shoulders were formed of the base.	і вінці на обох стовпах угорі, прямо над випуклістю, що поряд із сіткою; і на другому вінці, рядами навкруги, двісті гранатових яблук.

And on the top of the base half a cubit was the size of it, there was a circle on the top of the base, and there was the top of its spaces and its borders: and it was open at the top of its spaces.	І поставив стовпи до притвору храму; поставив стовп на правому боці і дав йому ім’я Іахин, і поставив стовп на лівому боці і дав йому ім’я Воаз.

And its borders were cherubs, and lions, and palm-trees, upright, each was joined in front and within and round about.	І над стовпами поставив вінці , зроблені на зразок лілеї; так закінчена робота над стовпами.

According to the same form he made all the ten bases, even one order and one measure to all.	І зробив лите з міді море, — від краю його до краю його десять ліктів, — зовсім кругле, висотою у п’ять ліктів, і шнур у тридцять ліктів обіймав його навкруги.

And he made ten brazen lavers, each laver containing forty baths, and measuring four cubits, each laver placed on a several base throughout the ten bases.	Подоби огірків під краями його оточували його по десять на один лікоть, оточували море з усіх боків у два ряди; подоби огірків були відлиті з ним одним литтям.

And he put five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house: and the sea was placed on the right side of the house eastward in the direction of the south. two pillars and the wreathen works of the pillars on the heads of the two pillars; and the two net-works to cover both the wreathen works of the flutings that were upon the pillars. The four hundred pomegranates for both the net-works, two rows of pomegranates for one net-work, to cover both the wreathen works of the bases belonging to both pillars.	І ось будова підстав: у них стінки, стінки між кутовими пластинами;

Отвір від внутрішнього вінка до верха в один лікоть; отвір його круглий, подібно до підніжжя стовпів, у півтора ліктя, і при отворі його статуї; але бічні стінки чотирикутні, не круглі.

There was no reckoning of the brass of which he made all these works, from the very great abundance, there was no end of the weight of the brass.	Під стінками було чотири колеса, і вісі коліс на підставах; висота кожного колеса — півтора ліктя.

In the country round about Jordan did he cast them, in the clay land between Socchoth and Sira.	Будова коліс така сама, як будова коліс на колісниці; вісі їх, і ободи їх, і спиці їх, і ступиці їх, усе було лите.

And king Solomon took the furniture which Chiram made for the house of the Lord, the golden altar, and the golden table of shewbread.	Чотири виступи на чотирьох кутах кожної підстави; з підстави виходили виступи її.

And there were made the porches, and the nails, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the golden censers, of pure gold: and the panels of the doors of the innermost part of the house, even the holy of holies, and the golden doors of the temple. So the work of the house of the Lord which Solomon wrought was finished; and Solomon brought in the holy things of David his father, and all the holy things of Solomon; he put the silver, and the gold, and the furniture, into the treasures of the house of the Lord.	Так зробив він десять підстав: у всіх них одне лиття, одна міра, один вигляд.

And Solomon built a house for himself in thirteen years.	І зробив десять мідних умивальниць: кожна умивальниця вміщала сорок батів, кожна умивальниця була в чотири лікті, кожна умивальниця стояла на одній з десяти підстав.

And he built the house with the wood of Libanus; its length was a hundred cubits, and its breadth was fifty cubits, and its height was of thirty cubits, and it was made with three rows of cedar pillars, and the pillars had side-pieces of cedar.	І розставив підстави — п’ять на правому боці храму і п’ять на лівому боці храму, а море поставив на правому боці храму, на східно-південній стороні.

And he formed the house with chambers above on the sides of the pillars, and the number of the pillars was each row forty and five,	І зробив Хирам умивальниці і лопатки і чаші. І закінчив Хирам усю роботу, яку виконував у царя Соломона для храму Господнього:

and there were three chambers, and space against space in three rows.	два стовпи і два опоясання вінців, що наверху стовпів, і дві сітки для покриття двох опоясань вінців, що наверху стовпів;

And all the doors and spaces formed like chambers were square, and from door to door was a correspondence in three rows.	і чотириста ґранатових яблук на двох сітках; два ряди ґранатових яблук для кожної сітки, для покриття двох опоясань вінців, що на стовпах;

And he made the porch of the pillars, they were fifty cubits long and fifty broad, the porch joining them in front; and the other pillars and the thick beam were in front of the house by the porches.	і десять підстав і десять умивальниць на підставах;

And there was the Porch of seats where he would judge, the porch of judgment.	одне море і дванадцять волів під морем;

And their house where he would dwell, had one court communicating with these according to this work; and he built the house for the daughter of Pharao whom Solomon had taken, according to this porch.	і тази, і лопатки, і чаші. All these were of costly stones, sculptured at intervals within even from the foundation even to the top, and outward to the great court,	Цар виливав їх у глинистій землі, в околиці Йордану, між Сокхофом і Цартаном.

founded with large costly stones, stones of ten cubits and eight cubits long.	І поставив Соломон усі ці речі на місце . Через надзвичайну їх кількість, вага міді не визначена.

And above with costly stones, according to the measure of hewn stones, and with cedars.	І зробив Соломон усі речі, що у храмі Господньому: золотий жертовник і золотий стіл, на якому хліби предложення;

There were three rows of hewn stones round about the great hall, and a row of sculptured cedar:	і світильники — п’ять праворуч і п’ять ліворуч, перед заднім відділенням храму, з чистого золота, і квіти, і лампадки, і щипці із золота;

and Solomon finished all his house.	і блюда, і ножі, і чаші, і лотки, і кадильниці з чистого золота, і завіси у дверях внутрішнього храму у Святому Святих і у дверях у храмі теж із золота.
