Chapter 32	Глава 32

1	1
Attend, O heaven, and I will speak; and let the earth hear the words out of my mouth.	Слухай, небо, я буду говорити; і слухай, земле, слова вуст моїх.
2	2
Let my speech be looked for as the rain, and my words come down as dew, as the shower upon the herbage, and as snow upon the grass.	Поллється як дощ вчення моє, як роса мова моя, як дрібний дощ на зелень, як злива на траву.
3	3
For I have called on the name of the Lord: assign ye greatness to our God.	Ім’я Господа прославляю; віддайте славу Богу нашому.
4	4
As for God, his works are true, and all his ways are judgment: God is faithful, and there is no unrighteousness in him; just and holy is the Lord.	Він твердиня; досконалі діла Його, і всі путі Його праведні; Бог вірний, і немає неправди [у Ньому]; Він праведний і істинний;

They have sinned, not pleasing him; spotted children, a froward and perverse generation.	але вони розбестилися перед Ним, вони не діти Його за своїми пороками, рід непокірливий і розбещений.

Do ye thus recompense the Lord? is the people thus foolish and unwise? did not he himself thy father purchase thee, and make thee, and form thee?	Чи цим відплачуєте ви Господу, народе безглуздий і нерозумний? чи не Він Отець твій, Який привласнив тебе, створив тебе і влаштував тебе?

Remember the days of old, consider the years for past ages: ask thy father, and he shall relate to thee, thine elders, and they shall tell thee.	Згадай дні давні, подумай про роки попередніх родів; запитай батька твого, і він розповість тобі, старців твоїх, і вони скажуть тобі.

When the Most High divided the nations, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the nations according to the number of the angels of God.	Коли Всевишній давав наділи народам і розселяв синів людських, тоді поставив межі народів за числом синів Ізраїлевих^*;

And his people Jacob became the portion of the Lord, Israel was the line of his inheritance.	бо частина Господа — народ Його, Яків спадкоємний наділ Його.

He maintained him in the wilderness, in burning thirst and a dry land: he led him about and instructed him, and kept him as the apple of an eye.	Він знайшов його в пустелі, у степу сумному і дикому, оберігав його, дивився за ним, оберігав його, як зіницю ока Свого;

As an eagle would watch over his brood, and yearns over his young, receives them having spread his wings, and takes them up on his back:	як орел прикликає гніздо своє, носиться над пташенятами своїми, простягає крила свої, бере їх і носить на крилах своїх,

the Lord alone led them, there was no strange god with them.	так Господь один водив його, і не було з Ним чужого бога.

He brought them up on the strength of the land; he fed them with the fruits of the fields; they sucked honey out of the rock, and oil out of the solid rock.	Він підніс його на висоту землі і годував плодами полів, і поїв його медом з каменю і єлеєм з твердої скелі,
14	14
Butter of cows, and milk of sheep, with the fat of lambs and rams, of calves and kids, with fat of kidneys of wheat; and he drank wine, the blood of the grape.	маслом коров’ячим і молоком овечим, і жиром агнців і баранів васанських і козлів, і повною пшеницею, і ти пив вино, кров виноградних ягід.

So Jacob ate and was filled, and the beloved one kicked; he grew fat, he became thick and broad: then he forsook the God that made him, and departed from God his Saviour.	І [їв Яків, і] розповнішав Ізраїль, і став упертим; розповнішав, потовстішав і розжирів; і залишив він Бога, Який створив його, і знехтував твердиню спасіння свого.

They provoked me to anger with strange gods; with their abominations they bitterly angered me.	Богами чужими вони роздратували Його і мерзотами [своїми] розгнівали Його:
17	17
They sacrificed to devils, and not to God; to gods whom they knew not: new and fresh gods came in, whom their fathers knew not.	приносили жертви бісам, а не Богу, богам, яких вони не знали, новим, які прийшли від сусідів і про яких не помишляли батьки ваші.
18	18
Thou hast forsaken God that begot thee, and forgotten God who feeds thee.	А Заступника, Який породив тебе, ти забув, і не пам’ятав Бога, Який створив тебе.
19	19
And the Lord saw, and was jealous; and was provoked by the anger of his sons and daughters,	Господь побачив [і обурився], і в обуренні зневажив синів Своїх і дочок Своїх,
20	20
and said, I will turn away my face from them, and will show what shall happen to them in the last days; for it is a perverse generation, sons in whom is no faith.	і сказав: сховаю лице Моє від них [і] побачу, який буде кінець їх; бо вони рід розбещений; діти, у яких немає вірности;
21	21
They have provoked me to jealousy with that which is not God, they have exasperated me with their idols; and I will provoke them to jealousy with them that are no nation, I will anger them with a nation void of understanding.	вони роздратували Мене тим, що не є богом, марнотами своїми засмутили Мене: і Я роздратую їх тим, що не є народом, народом безглуздим засмучу їх;

For a fire has been kindled out of my wrath, it shall burn to hell below; it shall devour the land, and the fruits of it; it shall set on fire the foundations of the mountains.	бо вогонь запалав у гніві Моєму, палить до пекла глибинного, і поглинає землю і плоди її, і спалює основи гір;

I will gather evils upon them, and will fight with my weapons against them.	зберу на них біди і випущу на них стріли Мої:
24	24
They shall be consumed with hunger and the devouring of birds, and there shall be irremediable destruction: I will send forth against them the teeth of wild beasts, with the rage of serpents creeping on the ground.	будуть виснажені голодом, знищені гарячкою і лютою заразою; і пошлю на них зуби звірів і отруту плазунів, що на землі;

Without, the sword shall bereave them of children, and terror shall issue out of the secret chambers; the young man shall perish with the virgin, the suckling with him who has grown old.	ззовні буде губити їх меч, а в домах жах — і юнака, і дівчину, і немовля, і вкритого сивиною старця.

I said, I will scatter them, and I will cause their memorial to cease from among men.	Я сказав би: розсію їх і зітру з середовища людей пам’ять про них;
27	27
Were it not for the wrath of the enemy, lest they should live long, lest their enemies should combine against them; lest they should say, Our own high arm, and not the Lord, has done all these things.	але відклав це заради озлоблення ворогів, щоб вороги його не загордилися і не сказали: наша рука висока, і не Господь зробив усе це.

It is a nation that has lost counsel, neither is there understanding in them.	Тому що вони народ, який утратив розум, і немає в них сенсу.
29	29
They had not sense to understand: let them reserve these things against the time to come.	О, якби вони розсудили, подумали про це, зрозуміли, що з ними буде!

How should one pursue a thousand, and two rout tens of thousands, if God had not sold them, and the Lord delivered them up?	Як би міг один переслідувати тисячу і двоє проганяти десять тисяч, якби Заступник їх не зрадив їх, і Господь не віддав їх!

For their gods are not as our God, but our enemies are void of understanding.	Бо заступник їх не такий, як наш Заступник; самі вороги наші судді в тім.

For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and their vine-branch of Gomorrha: their grape is a grape of gall, their cluster is one of bitterness.	Бо виноград їх від виноградної лози содомської і з полів гоморрських; ягоди їх ягоди отруйні, грона їх гіркі;

Their wine is the rage of serpents, and the incurable rage of asps.	вино їх отрута драконів і згубна отрута аспидів.

Lo! are not these things stored up by me, and sealed among my treasures?	Чи не приховано це в Мене? чи не запечатано в сховищах Моїх?

In the day of vengeance I will recompense, whensoever their foot shall be tripped up; for the day of their destruction is near to them, and the judgments at hand are close upon you.	У Мене помста і нагорода, коли похитне нога їх; бо близько день загибелі їх, скоро настане приготоване для них.
36	36
For the Lord shall judge his people, and shall be comforted over his servants; for he saw that they were utterly weakened, and failed in the hostile invasion, and were become feeble:	Але Господь буде судити народ Свій і над рабами Своїми змилосердиться, коли Він побачить, що рука їх ослабла, і не стало ні ув’язнених, ні тих, що залишилися зовні.

and the Lord said, Where are their gods on whom they trusted?	Тоді скаже [Господь]: де боги їх, твердиня, на яку вони надіялися,
38	38
the fat of whose sacrifices ye ate, and ye drank the wine of their drink-offerings? let them arise and help you, and be your protectors.	які їли жир жертв їх [і] пили вино узливань їх? нехай вони повстануть і допоможуть вам, нехай будуть для вас покровом!
39	39
Behold, behold that I am he, and there is no god beside me: I kill, and I will make to live: I will smite, and I will heal; and there is none who shall deliver out of my hands.	Бачите нині, [бачите,] що це Я, Я — і немає Бога, крім Мене: Я умертвляю й оживляю, Я уражаю і Я зціляю, і ніхто не визволить від руки Моєї.
40	40
For I will lift up my hand to heaven, and swear by my right hand, and I will say, I live for ever.	Я піднімаю до небес руку Мою і [клянуся правицею Моєю і] говорю: живу Я повік!
41	41
For I will sharpen my sword like lightning, and my hand shall take hold of judgment; and I will render judgment to my enemies, and will recompense them that hate me.	Коли загострю блискучий меч Мій, і рука Моя прийме суд, то відомщу ворогам Моїм і ненависникам Моїм воздам;
42	42
I will make my weapons drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh, it shall glut itself with the blood of the wounded, and from the captivity of the heads of their enemies that rule over them.	напою стріли Мої кров’ю, і меч Мій насититься плоттю, кров’ю убитих і полонених, головами начальників ворога.

Rejoice, ye heavens, with him, and let all the angels of God worship him; rejoice ye Gentiles, with his people, and let all the sons of God strengthen themselves in him; for he will avenge the blood of his sons, and he will render vengeance, and recompense justice to his enemies, and will reward them that hate him; and the Lord shall purge the land of his people.	[Веселіться, небеса, разом з Ним, і поклоніться Йому, всі ангели Божі.] Веселіться, язичники, з народом Його [і хай зміцняться всі сини Божі]! бо Він відомстить за кров рабів Своїх, і відплатить помстою ворогам Своїм, [і ненависникам Своїм воздасть,] і очистить [Господь] землю Свою і народ Свій!

And Moses wrote this song in that day, and taught it to the children of Israel; and Moses went in and spoke all the words of this law in the ears of the people, he and Joshua the son of Naue.	[І написав Мойсей пісню цю в той день, і навчив її синів Ізраїлевих.] І прийшов Мойсей [до народу] й оголосив усі слова пісні цієї гучно народу, він і Ісус, син Навина.

And Moses finished speaking to all Israel.	Коли Мойсей оголосив усі слова ці всьому Ізраїлю,

And he said to them, Take heed with your heart to all these words, which I testify to you this day, which ye shall command your sons, to observe and do all the words of this law.	тоді сказав їм: покладіть на серце ваше всі слова, які я оголосив вам сьогодні, і заповідайте їх дітям своїм, щоб вони намагалися виконувати всі слова закону цього;

For this is no vain word to you; for it is your life, and because of this word ye shall live long upon the land, into which ye go over Jordan to inherit it.	бо це не пусте для вас, але це життя ваше, і через це ви довгий час пробудете на тій землі, в яку ви йдете через Йордан, щоб оволодіти нею.

And the Lord spoke to Moses in this day, saying,	І говорив Господь Мойсеєві в той же самий день і сказав:

Go up to the mount Abarim, this mountain Nabau which is in the land of Moab over against Jericho, and behold the land of Chanaan, which I give to the sons of Israel:	зійди на цю гору Аварим, на гору Нево, що в землі Моавитській, навпроти Єрихона, і подивися на землю Ханаанську, яку Я даю у володіння синам Ізраїлевим;

and die in the mount whither thou goest up, and be added to thy people; as Aaron thy brother died in mount Or, and was added to his people.	і помри на горі, на яку ти зійдеш, і прилучись до народу твого, як помер Аарон, брат твій, на горі Ор, і прилучився до народу свого,

Because ye disobeyed my word among the children of Israel, at the waters of strife of Cades in the wilderness of Sin; because ye sanctified me not among the sons of Israel.	за те, що ви згрішили проти Мене серед синів Ізраїлевих при водах Мериви в Кадесі, у пустелі Син, за те, що не явили святости Моєї серед синів Ізраїлевих;

Thou shalt see the land before thee, but thou shalt not enter into it.	перед собою ти побачиш землю, а не ввійдеш туди, у землю, яку Я даю синам Ізраїлевим.
