And it came to pass in the ninth month of Sedekias king of Juda, that Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon came, and all his host, against Jerusalem, and they besieged it.

And in the eleventh year of Sedekias, in the fourth month, on the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up.
|
къ е^гљ=птђ, проти'вђ си'лы фараѓ'на нехаѓ& цр~я е^гљ=пеTска, и^же бы'сть наD рњко'ю е^љфра'тъ в# картами'съ. е^гоже поби навходоносо'ръ цр~ь вављ=ло'нскїи в лњте четве'ртемъ и^ѓ^а^ки'ма сн~а і^ѓ^сїина цр~я і^ё'дина.

And all the leaders of the king of Babylon went in, and sat in the middle gate, Marganasar, and Samagoth, and Nabusachar, and Nabusaris, Nagargas, Naserrabamath, and the rest of the leaders of the king of Babylon,
|
ё^готовите ѓ^рђ'жїе и^ щи'тъ, і^ и^дњте на бра'нь.

and they sent, and took Jeremias out of the court of the prison, and gave him in charge to Godolias the son of Achicam, the son of Saphan: and they brought him out, and he sat in the midst of the people.

въпряжи'те коня, и^ посади'те всаDники. сто'ите въ шле'мехъ, ё^ста'вите копїя, и^ ѓ^блечњтеся въ бро'ня.

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremias in the court of the prison, saying,
|
и^ что` ё^бо ви'дњхъ страшли'вы и^ хреп#ты ѓ^браща'ющася, крњп'кїя и^хъ и^ꙁби'ты. побњго'ша ско'ро, не ꙁря'ще въспя'ть. эTвсю'дђ стра'хъ гл~етъ г~ь.

Go and say to Abdemelech the Ethiopian, Thus said the Lord God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good.

не ё^тече'тъ ско'рыи, ниже въꙁмо'жетъ и^ꙁба'витися крњ'пкїи. на по'лъ нощъ блиZ рњки` е^љ=фра'тъ побњжDени сђть и^ падо'ша”

But I will save thee in that day, and I will by no means deliver thee into the hands of the men before whom thou art afraid.

Кт^о е^сть то'и и^же ја%ко рњка` въсходитъ, и^ ја%ко пото'цы въꙁDви'жђтся во'лны е^го.

For I will surely save thee, and thou shalt by no means fall by the sword; and thou shalt find thy life, because thou didst trust in me, saith the Lord.

е^гљ=петъ по подо'бїю рњки` въсхо'дитъ, и^ ја%ко рњка` въсколњ'блются во'лны е^го. и^ рече в#зы'иди и^ покры'и ꙁе'млю, погђби граD и^ живђщая е^го.
