And it came to pass, when Jeremias ceased speaking to the people all the words of the Lord, for which the Lord had sent him to them, even all these words,
|
Сло'во е^же реq г~ь ѓ^ вављ=ло'нњ, и^ ѓ^ земли` халдњисᲄеи, і^еремїеM пррoкоM”

that Azarias son of Maasæas spoke, and Joanan, the son of Careë, and all the men who had spoken to Jeremias, saying, It is false: the Lord has not sent thee to us, saying, Enter not into Egypt to dwell there:
|
Възвњсти'те въ ја^ꙁы'цњхъ и^ ѓ^гласи'те” въꙁдви'гнњте ꙁна'менїе, възопїиᲄе и^ не сᲆкрива'ите, рцњте. взя'ся вављ=ло'нъ посрами'ся вее^ль, побᲇди'ся мародахъ, посрами'шася и^ꙁвая'нїя е^го, победи'шася кђми'ры и^хъ.

but Baruch the son of Nerias sets thee against us, that thou mayest deliver us into the hands of the Chaldeans, to kill us, and that we should be carried away captives to Babylon.
|
ја%ко прїиде на ня ја^ꙁы'къ эT полђнощи, тои поло'житъ ꙁе'млю е^го въ пђсты'ню, и^ не бђдетъ живя'и в немъ эT чл~ка даже и^ до скота`. и^ воZдви'гнђшася и^ эTи^до'ша”

So Joanan, and all the leaders of the host, and all the people, refused to hearken to the voice of the Lord, to dwell in the land of Juda.

Въ ты` дн~и и^ въ то'и чаs, гл~етъ г~ь. прїидTђ сн~ове і^и^л~еви тїи и^ сн~ове і^ё'дины въкђпњ, ходя'ще и^ пла'чюще поспᲇша'тъ, и^ г~а б~а свое^го въꙁы'щђт#.

And Joanan, and all the leaders of the host, took all the remnant of Juda, who had returned to dwell in the land;
|
въ сїѓ'нъ въспытаюT стеѕњ, та'мо ѓ^брати'вши лица своя`. прїидђтъ и^ прило'жатся къ г~ђ ѓ^бњща'нїемъ вњчномъ, ја%ко ни е^ді'нњмъ ꙁаб#венїемъ не сотре'тся.

the mighty men, and the women, and the children that were left, and the daughters of the king, and the souls which Nabuzardan had left with Godolias the son of Achicam, and Jeremias the prophet, and Baruch the son of Nerias.
|
ѓ'вца поги'бшая бы'ша лю'дїе мои`. па'стыри и^хъ съврати'ша иX, и^ сътвори'ша я& кры'тися по гораX, съ горы` на хо'лмᲆ ходи'ша,

And they came into Egypt: for they hearkened not to the voice of the Lord: and they entered into Taphnas.
|
забы'ша поко'я свое^го. вся'къ ѓ^брњты'и я& ја^де` иX, и^ вра'ѕи и^хъ реко'ша, не съгрњшихомъ. сего раd ꙁане` сᲆгрњшиша г~ђ лњпотњ пра'вды, наде'жDи эTц~ъ и^хъ г~ђ.

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremias in Taphnas, saying,
|
эTи^дњте эT сре'ды вављ=лона, и^ эT ꙁеMля` халде'и и^ꙁыидњте, и^ бђдете ја%ко ко'злища преD ѓ^вца'ми.

|
Take thee great stones, and hide them in the entrance, at the gate of the house of Pharao in Taphnas, in the sight of the men of Juda:
|
ја^ко с^е а^ꙁъ въста'влю и^ приведђ въ вављ=лонъ събо'ръ ја^ꙁы'ковъ велїихъ эT земля` полђнощны, и^ ё^гото'вятся нань, и^ потомъ во'змется. стрњла` е^го ја%ко мђжа си'лъна вражде'бника, не въꙁврати'тся па'ки пра'ꙁдна.

and thou shalt say, Thus has the Lord said; Behold, I will send, and will bring Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, and he shall place his throne upon these stones which thou hast hidden, and he shall lift up weapons against them.
|
и^ бђдетъ земля` халдњиска въ раз#грабле'нїе, вс^и гђби'тели е^я напо'лняTся, гл~етъ г~ь.

|
And he shall enter in, and smite the land of Egypt, delivering some for death to death; and some for captivity to captivity; and some for the sword to the sword.
|
зане` весели'стеся и^ велерњчева'сте расхища'юще наслњдїе мое. и^злїясте бо ся ја%ко телцы на травђ`, и^ рыка'сте ја%ко во'лъ.

|
And he shall kindle a fire in the houses of their gods, and shall burn them, and shall carry them away captives: and shall search the land of Egypt, as a shepherd searches his garment; and he shall go forth in peace.
|
порђга'на е^сть ма'ти ва'ша ѕњло, и^ ё^подоби'ся пра'хђ роди'вшїя васъ. се послњдняя бђдетъ въ ја^зы'цехъ, и^ пђста` и^ непрохо'дна и^ сђха`

|
And he shall break to pieces the pillars of Heliopolis that are in On, and shall burn their houses with fire.
|
эT гнњва гн~я, не поживђтъ в неи, н^о ѓ^брати'тся вся` въ пђсты'ню. вся'къ ходя'и сквоꙁњ вављ=ло'нъ, подивиTся и^ поꙁви'ждетъ ѓ^ всеи ја%звњ е^го.
