1
And in those days cometh John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, (За?

and saying, Repent ye; for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
3
3
For this is he that was spoken of by Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make ye ready the way of the Lord, Make his paths straight.
4
4
Now John himself had his raiment of camel’s hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
5
5
Then went out unto him Jerusalem, and all Judea, and all the region round about the Jordan; ТогдA и3схождaше къ немY їеrли1ма, и3 всS їудeа, и3 всS странA їoрдaнскаz,
6
6
and they were baptized of him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. и3 крещaхусz во їoрдaнэ t негw2, и3сповёдающе грэхи2 сво‰.
7
7
But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said unto them, Ye offspring of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Ви1дэвъ же (їwaннъ) мнHги фарісє1и и3 саддукє1и грzдyщыz на крещeніе є3гw2, речE и5мъ: рождє1ніz є3хjднwва, кто2 сказA вaмъ бэжaти t бyдущагw гнёва;
8
8
Bring forth therefore fruit worthy of repentance: сотвори1те u5бо пл0дъ дост0инъ покаsніz,
9
9
and think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. и3 не начинaйте глаг0лати въ себЁ: nтцA и4мамы ґвраaма: глаг0лю бо вaмъ, ћкw м0жетъ бGъ t кaменіz сегw2 воздви1гнути ч†да ґвраaму:
10
10
And even now the axe lieth at the root of the trees: every tree therefore that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
11
11
I indeed baptize you in water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you in the Holy Spirit: ѓзъ ќбw крещaю вы2 вод0ю въ покаsніе: грzдhй же по мнЁ крёплій менє2 є4сть, є3мyже нёсмь дост0инъ сапоги2 понести2: т0й вы2 кrти1тъ д¦омъ с™hмъ и3 nгнeмъ:
12
12
whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing floor; and he will gather his wheat into the garner, but the chaff he will burn up with unquenchable fire.
13
13
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. ѕ7.) ТогдA прих0дитъ ї}съ t галілeи на їoрдaнъ ко їwaнну кrти1тисz t негw2.
14
14
But John would have hindered him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? Їwaннъ же возбранsше є3мY, глаг0лz: ѓзъ трeбую тоб0ю кrти1тисz, и3 тh ли грzдeши ко мнЁ;
15
15
But Jesus answered and said unto him, Suffer it now: for thus it becometh us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he suffereth him. Tвэщaвъ же ї}съ речE къ немY: њстaви нн7э: тaкw бо подобaетъ нaмъ и3сп0лнити всsку прaвду.
16
16
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightaway from the water: and lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, and coming upon him; И# кrти1всz ї}съ взhде ѓбіе t воды2: и3 сE, tверз0шасz є3мY небесA, и3 ви1дэ д¦а б9іz сходsща ћкw г0лубz и3 грzдyща на него2.
17
17
and lo, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
