И# воцари1сz їwсафaтъ сhнъ є3гw2 вмёстw є3гw2, и3 ўкрэпи1сz їwсафaтъ над8 ї}лемъ: And Josaphat his son reigned in his stead, and Josaphat strengthened himself against Israel.

расположи1 же си1лу во всёхъ градёхъ їyдиныхъ крёпкихъ и3 постaви воевHды во градёхъ їyдиныхъ и3 во градёхъ є3фрeмовыхъ и5хже побрA прeжде ѓса nтeцъ є3гw2. And he put garrisons in all the strong cities of Juda, and appointed captains in all the cities of Juda, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken.

И# бhсть гDь со їwсафaтомъ, ћкw хождaше въ путeхъ давjда nтцA своегw2 пeрвыхъ и3 не взыскA јдwлwвъ, And the Lord was with Josaphat, for he walked in the first ways of his father, and did not seek to idols;

но гDа бGа nтцA своегw2 взыскA и3 п0йде въ повелёніихъ nтцA своегw2, ґ не по дэлHмъ ї}лєвымъ: but he sought to the Lord God of his father, and walked in the commandments of his father, and not according to the works of Israel.

и3 ўкрэпи2 гDь цaрство въ рукY є3гw2, и3 дaша всS їудeа дaры їwсафaту, и3 бhсть є3мY богaтство и3 слaва мн0га. And the Lord prospered the kingdom in his hand; and all Juda gave gifts to Josaphat; and he had great wealth and glory.

И# вознесeсz сeрдце є3гw2 въ пути2 гDни, и3 ктомY и3з8S высHкаz и3 дубрaвы t земли2 їyдины. And his heart was exalted in the way of the Lord; and he removed the high places and the groves from the land of Juda.

Въ трeтіе же лёто цaрства своегw2 послA начaлники сво‰ и3 сынHвъ си1льныхъ ґвдjю и3 захaрію, и3 наfанаи1ла и3 міхeа, да ўчaтъ во градёхъ їyдиныхъ: And in the third year of his reign, he sent his chief men, and his mighty men, Abdias and Zacharias, and Nathanael, and Michaias, to teach in the cities of Juda.

и3 съ ни1ми леvjти самeа и3 наfанjа, и3 завдjа и3 ґсіи1лъ, и3 семірамHfъ и3 їwнаfaнъ, и3 ґдwнjа и3 тwвjа и3 тwвадwнjа леvjти, и3 съ ни1ми є3лісамA и3 їwрaмъ жерцы2: And with them were the Levites, Samaias, and Nathanias, and Zabdias, and Asiel, and Semiramoth, and Jonathan, and Adonias, and Tobias, and Tobadonias, Levites, and with them Elisama and Joram, the priests.

ўчаху же во їудeи, и3мёюще кни1гу зак0на гDнz, и3 прохождaху грaды ї{дины и3 ўчаху лю1ди. And they taught in Juda, and there was with them the book of the law of the Lord, and they passed through the cities of Juda, and taught the people.

И# бhсть стрaхъ гDень на всёхъ цaрствахъ земнhхъ w4крестъ їyды, и3 не воевaша проти1ву їwсафaта. And a terror of the Lord was upon all the kingdoms of the land round about Juda, and they made no war against Josaphat.

И# t и3ноплемє1нникъ їwсафaту дaры приношaху сребро2 и3 д†ни: ґрaви же привождaху є3мY nвнHвъ џвчихъ сeдмь тhсzщъ и3 сeдмь сHтъ, и3 козлHвъ сeдмь тhсzщъ сeдмь сHтъ. And some of the Philistines brought to Josaphat gifts, and silver, and presents; and the Arabians brought him seven thousand seven hundred rams.

И# бЁ їwсафaтъ пред8успэвaz вели1къ въ высотY и3 создA во їудeи д0мы и3 грaды крBпки. And Josaphat increased in greatness exceedingly, and built in Judea places of abode, and strong cities.

И# мнHга дёла бhша є3мY во їудeи: и3 мyжіе рaтницы крёпцы си1льніи во їеrли1мэ. And he had many works in Judea: and the mighty men of war, the men of strength, were in Jerusalem.

И# сіE число2 и4хъ по домHмъ nтeчествъ и4хъ: и3 во їyдэ тысzщеначaлницы є3днaсъ в0ждь и3 съ ни1мъ сhнове си1льніи си1лы три1ста тhсzщъ: And this is their number according to the houses of their fathers; even the captains of thousands in Juda were, Ednas the chief, and with him mighty men of strength three hundred thousand.

и3 по нeмъ їwанaнъ начaлникъ и3 съ ни1мъ двёсти џсмьдесzтъ тhсzщъ: And after him, Joanan the captain, and with him two hundred and eighty thousand.

по нeмже ґмасjа, сhнъ захaріинъ, ўсeрдсвуzй гDу и3 съ ни1мъ двёсти тhсzщъ мужeй си1льныхъ. And after him Amasias the son of Zari, who was zealous for the Lord; and with him two hundred thousand mighty men of strength.

И# t веніамjнz си1льніи си1лы є3ліaдъ, и3 съ ни1мъ держaщихъ лyкъ и3 щиты2 двёсти тhсzщъ си1льныхъ: And out of Benjamin there was a mighty man of strength, even Eliada, and with him two hundred thousand archers and targeteers.

и3 по нeмъ їwзавaдъ, и3 съ ни1мъ сто2 џсмьдесzтъ тhсzщъ, си1льніи ко брaни. And after him Jozabad, and with him a hundred and eighty thousand mighty men of war.

Сjи служaщіи царю2, кромЁ џныхъ, и5хже постaви цaрь по градHмъ крBпкимъ во всeй їудeи. These were the king's servants, besides those whom the king put in the strong cities in all Judea.
