Chapter 7
1
1
And when Solomon had finished praying, then the fire came down from heaven, and devoured the whole-burnt-offerings and the sacrifices; and the glory of the Lord filled the house.
2
2
и3 не можaху свzщeнницы вни1ти въ хрaмъ гDнь во врeмz џно, ћкw и3сп0лни слaва гDнz д0мъ гDень. And the priests could not enter into the house of the Lord at that time, for the glory of the Lord filled the house.
3
3
And all the children of Israel saw the fire descending, and the glory of the Lord was upon the house: and they fell upon their face to the ground on the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord; for it is good to do so, because his mercy endures for ever.
4
4
And the king and all the people were offering sacrifices before the Lord.
5
5
И# пожрE цaрь соломHнъ жeртву волHвъ двaдесzть и3 двЁ тhсzщы, nвeцъ сто2 и3 двaдесzть тhсzщъ, и3 њсвzти2 д0мъ б9ій цaрь и3 вси2 лю1діе. And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of calves twenty and two thousand, of sheep a hundred and twenty thousand: so the king and all the people dedicated the house of God.
6
6
Свzщeнницы же стоsху на стрaжахъ свои1хъ, и3 леvjти во nргaны поsху пBсни гDни, ±же сотвори2 давjдъ цaрь къ похвалeнію гDа: (ћкw бlгъ,) ћкw во вёкъ млcть є3гw2, пBсни давjдwвы (пою1ще) рукaми свои1ми: и3 свzщeнницы поsху трубaми пред8 ни1ми, и3 вeсь ї}ль стоsше. And the priests were standing at their watches, and the Levites with instruments of music of the Lord, belonging to king David, to give thanks before the Lord, for his mercy endures for ever, with the hymns of David, by their ministry: and the priests were blowing the trumpets before them, and all Israel standing.
7
7
Њсвzти1 же соломHнъ срeднее дворA, и4же пред8 цeрковію гDнею, принесe бо тY всесожжє1ніz и3 тyки ми1рныхъ, ћкw nлтaрь мёдzнъ, є3г0же сотвори2 соломHнъ, не можaше вмэсти1ти всесожжeній и3 жeртвъ и3 тyкwвъ. And Solomon consecrated the middle of the court that was in the house of the Lord: for he offered there the whole-burnt-offerings and the fat of the peace-offerings, for the brazen altar which Solomon had made was not sufficient to receive the whole-burnt-offerings, and the meat-offerings, and the fat.
8
8
И# сотвори2 соломHнъ прaздникъ во врeмz џно сeдмь днjй, и3 вeсь ї}ль съ ни1мъ, собрaніе вели1ко ѕэлw2 t вх0да во є3мafъ дaже до пот0ка є3гЂпетска: And Solomon kept the feast at that time seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great assembly, from the entering in of Æmath, and as far as the river of Egypt.
9
9
And on the eighth day he kept a solemn assembly: for he kept a feast of seven days as the dedication of the altar.
10
10
И# въ дeнь двaдесzть трeтій мцcа седмaгw tпусти2 людjй въ жили1ще и4хъ веселsщихсz и3 рaдующихсz њ бlги1хъ, ±же сотвори2 гDь давjду и3 соломHну и3 ї}лю лю1демъ свои6мъ. And on the twenty-third day of the seventh month he dismissed the people to their tents, rejoicing, and with a glad heart because of the good deeds which the Lord had done to David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
11
11
So Solomon finished the house of the Lord, and the king's house: and in whatever Solomon wished in his heart to do in the house of the Lord and in his own house, he prospered.
12
12
And the Lord appeared to Solomon by night, and said to him, I have heard thy prayer, and I have chosen this place to myself for a house of sacrifice.
13
13
ѓще заключY нeбо, и3 д0ждь не и3зліeтсz, и3 ѓще повелю2 пругHмъ поsсти дрeво, и3 ѓще послю2 губи1телство на лю1ди мо‰, If I should restrain the heaven and there should be no rain, and if I should command the locust to devour the trees, and if I should send pestilence upon my people;
14
14
и3 ѓще посрaмлени бyдутъ лю1діе мои2, на ни1хже при1звано є4сть и4мz моE, и3 пом0лzтсz, и3 взhщутъ лицA моегw2, и3 tвратsтсz t путjй свои1хъ ѕлhхъ: и3 ѓзъ ўслhшу съ нб7сE и3 млcтивъ бyду грэхHмъ и4хъ, и3 и3зцэлю2 зeмлю и4хъ: then if my people, on whom my name is called, should repent, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their evil ways, I also will hear from heaven, and I will be merciful to their sins, and I will heal their land.
15
15
и3 нн7э џчи мои2 бyдутъ tвє1рстэ, и3 ќши мои2 посл{шнэ къ молeнію мёста сегw2: And now my eyes shall be open, and my ears attentive to the prayer of this place.
16
16
6: And now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that my name should be there for ever: and my eyes and my heart shall be there always.
17
17
тh же ѓще ходи1ти бyдеши предо мн0ю, ћкоже ходи1лъ давjдъ nтeцъ тв0й, и3 сотвори1ши по всBмъ, ±же повелёхъ тебЁ, и3 повелBніz мо‰ и3 судбы6 мо‰ сохрани1ши: And if thou wilt walk before me as David thy father did, and wilt do according to all that I have commanded thee, and wilt keep my ordinances and my judgments;
18
18
и3 воздви1гну прест0лъ цaрства твоегw2, ћкоже завэщaхъ давjду nтцY твоемY гlz: не tи1метсz t тебє2 мyжъ в0ждь во ї}ли: then will I establish the throne of thy kingdom, as I covenanted with David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man ruling in Israel.
19
19
ѓще же tвратитeсz вы2 и3 њстaвите повелBніz мо‰ и3 зaпwвэди мо‰, ±же предaхъ вaмъ, и3 п0йдете и3 послyжите богHмъ и3ны6мъ и3 покл0нитесz и5мъ, But if ye should turn away, and forsake my ordinances and my commandments, which I have set before you, and go and serve other gods, and worship them;
20
20
и3ст0ргну вaсъ t земли2, ю4же дaхъ вaмъ: и3 д0мъ сeй, є3г0же њс™и1хъ и4мени моемY, tвeргу t лицA моегw2 и3 предaмъ є3го2 въ при1тчу и3 въ п0вэсть всBмъ kзhкwмъ: then will I remove you from the land which I gave them; and this house which I have consecrated to my name I will remove out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a by-word among all nations.
21
21
и3 д0мъ сeй выс0кій (въ при1тчу), всsкъ мимоходsй є3гw2 ўжaснетсz и3 речeтъ: почто2 сотвори2 гDь тaкw земли2 сeй и3 д0му семY; And as for this lofty house, every one that passes by it shall be amazed, and shall say, Wherefore has the Lord done thus to this land, and to this house?
22
22
и3 tвэщaютъ: ћкw њстaвиша гDа бGа nтє1цъ свои1хъ, и4же и3зведE и5хъ t земли2 є3гЂпетскіz, и3 пріsша б0ги чужды6z, и3 поклони1шасz и5мъ, и3 пораб0таша и5мъ, и3 сегw2 рaди наведE на ни1хъ вс‰ сі‰ ѕл†z. And men shall say, Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and they attached themselves to other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: and therefore he has brought upon them all this evil.
