And he said to him, As I am, so also art thou, as thy people, so also is my people with thee for the war. |

| And Josaphat said to the king of Israel, Seek, I pray thee, the Lord to-day. |

6
6
| Речe же їwсафaтъ: нёсть ли здЁ прbр0ка гDнz є3щE, да t негw2 вопр0симъ; | And Josaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the Lord besides, that we may enquire of him? |
7
7
| И# речE цaрь ї}левъ ко їwсафaту: є4сть є3щE мyжъ є3ди1нъ, и4мже вопроси1ти гDа, но ѓзъ ненави1жду є3го2, понeже не прорицaетъ мнЁ во благ†z, занE вси2 днjе є3гw2 во ѕл†z: сeй міхeа сhнъ їемвли1нъ . Речe же їwсафaтъ: не глаг0ли, царю2 тaкw. | And the king of Israel said to Josaphat, There is yet one man by whom to enquire of the Lord; but I hate him, for he does not prophesy concerning me for good, for all his days are for evil: this is Michaias the son of Jembla. And Josaphat said, Let not the king say so. |
8
8
| И# призвA цaрь ї}левъ є3ди1наго t є3vн{хъ и3 речE є3мY: (призови2) ск0рw міхeю сhна їемвли1на. | And the king called an eunuch, and said, Fetch quickly Michaias the son of Jembla. |
9
9
| Цaрь же ї}левъ и3 їwсафaтъ цaрь їyдинъ кjйждо сэдsше на прест0лэ своeмъ, и3 њблечє1на красот0ю цaрскою, сэдsста же на прострaнствэ бли1з8 врaтъ самарjйскіхъ, и3 вси2 прор0цы прор0чествоваху пред8 ни1ма. | And the king of Israel and Josaphat king of Juda were sitting each on his throne, and clothed in their robes, sitting in the open space at the entrance of the gate of Samaria: and all the prophets were prophesying before them. |
10
10
| And Sedekias son of Chanaan made for himself iron horns, and said, Thus saith the Lord, With these thou shalt thrust Syria until it be consumed. |
11
11
| И# вси2 прор0цы прорицaху тaкw, глаг0люще: взhди въ рамHfъ галаaдскій и3 пред8успёеши, и3 предaстъ гDь въ рyку царeву. | And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramoth Galaad, and thou shalt prosper; and the Lord shall deliver it into the hands of the king. |
12
12
| And the messenger that went to call Michaias spoke to him, saying, Behold, the prophets have spoken favourably concerning the king with one mouth; let now, I pray thee, thy words be as the words of one of them, and do thou speak good things. |
13
13
| And Michaias said, As the Lord lives, whatever God shall say to me, that will I speak. |
14
14
| И# пріи1де ко царю2, и3 речE є3мY цaрь: міхeе, и4мамъ ли и3ти2 рамHfъ галаaдскій на брaнь, и3ли2 ўдержyсz; И# tвэщA: взhди и3 пред8успёеши, и3 предадyтсz (врази2) въ рyки вaшz. | And he came to the king, and the king said to him, Michaias, shall I go up to Ramoth Galaad to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go up, and thou shalt prosper, and they shall be given into your hands. |
15
15
| И# речE є3мY цaрь: коли1кw крaтъ заклинaю тS, да не глаг0леши мнЁ, т0кмw и4стину во и4мz гDне. | And the king said to him, How often shall I solemnly charge thee that thou speak to me nothing but truth in the name of the Lord? |
16
16
| И# речE міхeа: ви1дэхъ всего2 ї}лz расточeна по горaмъ ћкw џвцы, и5мже нёсть пaстырz: и3 речE гDь: не и4мутъ сjи вождA, да возвратsтсz кjйждо въ д0мъ св0й въ ми1рэ. | And he said, I saw Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep without a shepherd: and the Lord said, These have no commander; let each return to his home in peace. |
17
17
| И# речE цaрь ї}левъ ко їwсафaту: не рёхъ ли тебЁ, ћкw не прорицaетъ њ мнЁ благ†z, но т0кмw ѕл†z; | And the king of Israel said to Josaphat, Said I not to thee, that he would not prophesy concerning me good, but evil? |
18
18
| И# речE міхeа: не тaкw: слhшите сл0во гDне: ви1дэхъ гDа сэдsща на пrт0лэ своeмъ, и3 всS си1ла нбcнаz предстоsше њдеснyю є3гw2 и3 њшyюю є3гw2: | But he said, Not so. Hear ye the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven stood by on his right hand and on his left. |
19
19
| и3 речE гDь: кто2 прельсти1тъ ґхаaва царS ї}лева, да взhдетъ и3 падeтъ въ рамHfэ галаaдстэмъ; и3 глаг0лаше є3ди1нъ тaкw, и3 и4нъ речE тaкw: | And the Lord said, Who will deceive Achaab king of Israel, that he may go up, and fall in Ramoth Galaad? And one spoke this way, and another spoke that way. |
20
20
| и3 и3зhде дyхъ, и3 стA пред8 гDемъ, и3 речE: ѓзъ прельщY є3го2: є3мyже гDь, въ чeмъ, речE, (прельсти1ши); | And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the Lord, and said, I will deceive him. And the Lord said, Whereby? |
21
21
| и3 речE: и3зhду и3 бyду дyхъ лжи1въ во ўстёхъ всёхъ прор0кwвъ є3гw2: речe же (гDь): прельсти1ши и3 превозм0жеши, и3зhди и3 сотвори2 тaкw: | And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the Lord said, Thou shalt deceive him, and shalt prevail: go forth, and do so. |
22
22
| And now, behold, the Lord has put a false spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the Lord has spoken evil against thee. |
23
23
| И# приступи2 седекjа сhнъ ханаaнь, и3 ўдaри міхeю въ лани1ту и3 речE є3мY: к0имъ путeмъ пр0йде д¦ъ гDень t менє2, є4же глаг0лати къ тебЁ; | Then Sedekias the son of Chanaan drew near, and smote Michaias on the cheek, and said to him, By what way passed the Spirit of the Lord from me to speak to thee? |
24
24
| And Michaias said, Behold, thou shalt see in that day, when thou shalt go from chamber to chamber to hide thyself. |
25
25
| И# речE цaрь ї}левъ: возми1те міхeю, и3 tведи1те ко є3мми1ру начaлнику грaда и3 ко їwaсу кнsзю сhну царeву, | And the king of Israel said, Take Michaias, and carry him back to Emer the governor of the city, and to Joas the captain, the king's son; |
26
26
| and ye shall say, Thus said the king, Put this fellow into the prison-house, and let him eat the bread of affliction, and drink the water of affliction, until I return in peace. |
27
27
| And Michaias said, If thou do at all return in peace, the Lord has not spoken by me. And he said, Hear, all ye people. |
28
28
| И# взhде цaрь ї}левъ и3 їwсафaтъ цaрь їyдинъ въ рамHfъ галаaдскій. | So the king of Israel, and Josaphat king of Juda, went up to Ramoth Galaad. |
29
29
| Речe же цaрь ї}левъ ко їwсафaту: прикрhюсz и3 вни1ду во брaнь, ты2 же њблецhсz въ ри6зы мо‰. | And the king of Israel said to Josaphat, Disguise me, and I will enter into the battle: and do thou put on my raiment. So the king of Israel disguised himself, and entered into the battle. |
30
30
| Now the king of Syria had commanded the captains of the chariots that were with him, saying, Fight neither against small nor great, but only against the king of Israel. |
31
31
| И# бhсть є3гдA ўви1дэша нач†лницы колесни1цъ їwсафaта, глаг0лаша: цaрь ї}левъ є4сть сeй. | And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Josaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel: and they compassed him about to fight against him: and Josaphat cried out, and the Lord delivered him; and God turned them away from him. |
32
32
| И# бhсть є3гдA ўви1дэша воевHды колесни1цъ, ћкw не бsше цaрь ї}левъ, њстaвиша є3го2. | And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Israel, that they turned away from him. |
33
33
И# речE возaтаю своемY: њбрати2 рyку твою2 и3 и3зведи2 мS t брaни ћкw и3знемог0хъ. | And a man drew a bow with a good aim, and smote the king of Israel between the lungs and the breastplate: and he said to the charioteer, Turn thine hand, drive me out of the battle, for I am wounded. |
34
34
| И# скончaна бhсть брaнь въ дeнь т0й, и3 цaрь ї}левъ бЁ стоS на колесни1цэ своeй проти1ву сmрjwмъ дaже до вeчера, и3 ќмре заходsщу с0лнцу. | And the battle turned in that day; and the king of Israel remained on the chariot against Syria until evening, and died at sunset. |
