| И# п0йде tтyду ґвраaмъ на зeмлю полyденную и3 всели1сz междY кaдисомъ и3 междY сyромъ: и3 њбитA въ герaрэхъ. | And Abraam removed thence to the southern country, and dwelt between Cades and Sur, and sojourned in Gerara. |

| Речe же ґвраaмъ њ сaррэ женЁ своeй, ћкw сестрa ми є4сть: ўбоsсz бо рещи2, ћкw женa ми є4сть, да не когдA ўбію1тъ є3го2 мyжіе грaдстіи є3S рaди. Послa же ґвімелeхъ цaрь герaрскій и3 взS сaрру. | And Abraam said concerning Sarrha his wife, She is my sister, for he feared to say, She is my wife, lest at any time the men of the city should kill him for her sake. So Abimelech king of Gerara sent and took Sarrha. |

| И# пріи1де бGъ ко ґвімелeху н0щію во снЁ и3 речE є3мY: сE, ты2 ўмирaеши жены2 рaди сеS, ю4же поsлъ є3си2: сіs же є4сть сожи1телствующаz мyжу. | And God came to Abimelech by night in sleep, and said, Behold, thou diest for the woman, whom thou hast taken, whereas she has lived with a husband. |

| Ґвімелeхъ же не прикоснyсz є4й и3 речE: гDи, kзhкъ невёдущій и3 првdнъ погуби1ши ли; | But Abimelech had not touched her, and he said, Lord, wilt thou destroy an ignorantly sinning and just nation? |

| не сaмъ ли ми2 речE: сестрa ми є4сть; и3 сіs ми речE: брaтъ ми2 є4сть; чи1стымъ сeрдцемъ и3 въ прaвдэ рyкъ сотвори1хъ сіE. | Said he not to me, She is my sister, and said she not to me, He is my brother? with a pure heart and in the righteousness of my hands have I done this. |

| Речe же є3мY бGъ во снЁ: и3 ѓзъ познaхъ, ћкw чи1стымъ сeрдцемъ сотвори1лъ є3си2 сіE, и3 пощадёхъ тS, да не согрэши1ши ко мнЁ: сегw2 рaди не попусти1хъ ти2 коснyтисz є3S: | And God said to him in sleep, Yea, I knew that thou didst this with a pure heart, and I spared thee, so that thou shouldest not sin against me, therefore I suffered thee not to touch her. |

| нн7э же tдaждь женY мyжу, ћкw прbр0къ є4сть, и3 пом0литсz њ тебЁ, и3 жи1въ бyдеши: ѓще же не tдaси, вёждь, ћкw ќмреши ты2 и3 вс‰ тво‰. | But now return the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live; but if thou restore her not, know that thou shalt die and all thine. |

| И# востA рaнw ґвімелeхъ, и3 призвA вс‰ џтроки сво‰, и3 глаг0ла словесA сі‰ вс‰ во ќшы и4хъ: ўбоsшасz же вси2 человёцы ѕэлw2. | And Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and he spoke all these words in their ears, and all the men feared exceedingly. |

| И# призвA ґвімелeхъ ґвраaма и3 речE є3мY: что2 сіE сотвори1лъ є3си2 нaмъ; є3дA что2 согрэши1хомъ тебЁ, ћкw навeлъ є3си2 на мS и3 на цaрство моE грёхъ вели1къ; дёло, є4же никт0же сотвори2, сотвори1лъ є3си2 мнЁ. | And Abimelech called Abraam and said to him, What is this that thou hast done to us? Have we sinned against thee, that thou hast brought upon me and upon my kingdom a great sin? Thou hast done to me a deed, which no one ought to do. |

| И# речE ґвімелeхъ ґвраaму: что2 ўмhсливъ, сотвори1лъ є3си2 сіE; | And Abimelech said to Abraam, What hast thou seen in me that thou hast done this? |

| Речe же ґвраaмъ: рек0хъ бо: нeгли нёсть бlгочcтіz на мёстэ сeмъ: и3 ўбію1тъ мS жены2 рaди моеS: | And Abraam said, Why I said, Surely there is not the worship of God in this place, and they will slay me because of my wife. |

| и4бо и4стиннw сестрa ми є4сть по nтцY, ґ не по мaтери: бhсть же ми2 въ женY: | For truly she is my sister by my father, but not by my mother, and she became my wife. |

| и3 бhсть є3гдA и3зведe мz бGъ t д0му nтцA моегw2, и3 рёхъ є4й: прaвду сію2 сотвори1ши ми2: во всsко мёсто, и3дёже ѓще пріи1демъ, тaмw рцы2 њ мнЁ, ћкw брaтъ ми2 є4сть. | And it came to pass when God brought me forth out of the house of my father, that I said to her, This righteousness thou shalt perform to me, in every place into which we may enter, say of me, He is my brother. |

| Взs же ґвімелeхъ тhсzщу дідрaхмъ (сребрA), и3 џвцы, и3 телцы2, и3 рабы6, и3 рабы6ни, и3 дадE ґвраaму: и3 tдадE є3мY сaрру женY є3гw2. | And Abimelech took a thousand pieces of silver, and sheep, and calves, and servants, and maid-servants, and gave them to Abraam, and he returned him Sarrha his wife. |

| И# речE ґвімелeхъ ґвраaму: сE, землS моS пред8 тоб0ю: и3дёже ѓще тебЁ ўг0дно є4сть, всели1сz. | And Abimelech said to Abraam, Behold, my land is before thee, dwell wheresoever it may please thee. |

| Сaррэ же речE: сE, дaхъ тhсzщу дідрaхмъ брaту твоемY: сі‰ бyдутъ тебЁ въ чeсть лицA твоегw2, и3 всBмъ, ±же сyть съ тоб0ю, и3 во всeмъ и4стинствуй. | And to Sarrha he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver, those shall be to thee for the price of thy countenance, and to all the women with thee, and speak the truth in all things. |

| Помоли1сz же ґвраaмъ бGу, и3 и3сцэли2 бGъ ґвімелeха и3 женY є3гw2 и3 рабы6ни є3гw2, и3 начaша раждaти: | And Abraam prayed to God, and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his women servants, and they bore children. |

| ћкw заключaz заключи2 гDь t внэyду вс‰ка ложеснA въ домY ґвімелeха, сaрры рaди жены2 ґвраaмли. | Because the Lord had fast closed from without every womb in the house of Abimelech, because of Sarrha Abraam's wife. |
