| И# припaдъ їHсифъ на лицE nтцA своегw2, плaкасz (г0рькw) њ нeмъ и3 њблобызA є3го2: | And Joseph fell upon his father's face, and wept on him, and kissed him. |

| и3 повелЁ їHсифъ рабHмъ свои6мъ погребaтелємъ погребсти2 nтцA своего2. И# погреб0ша погребaтеліе ї}лz. | And Joseph commanded his servants the embalmers to embalm his father; and the embalmers embalmed Israel. |

| И# и3сп0лнишасz є3мY четhредесzть днjй: тaкw бо и3счислsютсz днjе погребeніz: и3 плaкасz є3гw2 є3гЂпетъ сeдмьдесzтъ днjй. | And they fulfilled forty days for him, for so are the days of embalming numbered; and Egypt mourned for him seventy days. |

| Е#гдa же преид0ша днjе плaча, глаг0ла їHсифъ ко вельм0жамъ фараHнwвымъ, глаг0лz: ѓще њбрэт0хъ благодaть пред8 вaми, рцhте њ мнЁ во ќшы фараHну, глаг0люще: | And when the days of mourning were past, Joseph spoke to the princes of Pharao, saying, If I have found favour in your sight, speak concerning me in the ears of Pharao, saying, |

| nтeцъ м0й заклs мz прeжде скончaніz (своегw2), глаг0лz: во гр0бэ, є3г0же и3скопaхъ себЁ въ земли2 ханаaни, тaмw мS погреби2: нн7э u5бо возшeдъ погребY nтцA моего2 и3 возвращyсz. И# рек0ша фараHну по словеси2 їHсифову. | My father adjured me, saying, In the sepulchre which I dug for myself in the land of Chanaan, there thou shalt bury me; now then I will go up and bury my father, and return again. |

| И# речE фараHнъ ко їHсифу: взhди, погреби2 nтцA твоего2, ћкоже заклs тz. | And Pharao said to Joseph, Go up, bury thy father, as he constrained thee to swear. |

| И# взhде їHсифъ погребсти2 nтцA своего2. И# совзыд0ша съ ни1мъ вси2 раби2 фараw6ни и3 старBйшины д0му є3гw2, и3 вси2 старBйшины земли2 є3гЂпетскіz, | So Joseph went up to bury his father; and all the servants of Pharao went up with him, and the elders of his house, and all the elders of the land of Egypt. |

| и3 вeсь д0мъ їHсифовъ и3 брaтіz є3гw2, и3 вeсь д0мъ nтцA є3гw2 и3 срHдницы є3гw2: џвцы же и3 волы2 њстaвиша въ земли2 гесeмъ. | And all the household of Joseph, and his brethren, and all the house of his father, and his kindred; and they left behind the sheep and the oxen in the land of Gesem. |

| И# совзыд0ша съ ни1мъ и3 колєсни1цы и3 кHнницы, и3 бhсть п0лкъ вели1къ ѕэлw2. | And there went up with him also chariots and horsemen; and there was a very great company. |

| И# пріид0ша на гумно2 ґтaдово, є4же є4сть њб8 w4нъ п0лъ їoрдaна, и3 рыдaша є3гw2 рыдaніемъ вeліимъ и3 крёпкимъ ѕэлw2: и3 сотвори2 плaчь nтцY своемY сeдмь днjй. | And they came to the threshing-floor of Atad, which is beyond Jordan; and they bewailed him with a great and very sore lamentation; and he made a mourning for his father seven days. |

| И# ви1дэша жи1теліе земли2 ханаaнскіz плaчь на гумнЁ ґтaдовэ и3 рёша: плaчь вели1къ сeй є4сть є3гЂптzнwмъ. Сегw2 рaди наречeсz и4мz мёсту томY плaчь є3гЂпетскъ, є4же є4сть њб8 w4нъ п0лъ їoрдaна. | And the inhabitants of the land of Chanaan saw the mourning at the floor of Atad, and said, This is a great mourning to the Egyptians; therefore he called its name, The mourning of Egypt, which is beyond Jordan. |

| И# сотвори1ша є3мY тaкw сhнове є3гw2, ћкоже заповёда и5мъ. | And thus his sons did to him. |

| И# взsша є3го2 сhнове є3гw2 въ зeмлю ханаaню и3 погреб0ша є3го2 въ пещeрэ сугyбэй, ю4же стzжA ґвраaмъ пещeру въ стzжaніе гр0ба t є3фрHна хеттeанина, прsмw мамврjи. | So his sons carried him up into the land of Chanaan, and buried him in the double cave, which cave Abraam bought for possession of a burying place, of Ephrom the Chettite, before Mambre. |

| И# возврати1сz їHсифъ во є3гЂпетъ, сaмъ и3 брaтіz є3гw2 и3 вси2 совозшeдшіи погребсти2 nтцA є3гw2. | And Joseph returned to Egypt, he and his brethren, and those that had gone up with him to bury his father. |

| Ви1дэвше же брaтіz їHсифwвы, ћкw ќмре nтeцъ и4хъ, рёша: да не когдA воспомzнeтъ ѕл0бу нaшу їHсифъ и3 воздаsніемъ воздaстъ нaмъ за вс‰ ѕл†z, ±же показaхомъ є3мY. | And when the brethren of Joseph saw that their father was dead, they said, Let us take heed, lest at any time Joseph remember evil against us, and recompense to us all the evils which we have done against him. |

| И# пришeдше ко їHсифу рек0ша: nтeцъ тв0й заклS прeжде кончи1ны своеS, глаг0лz: | And they came to Joseph, and said, Thy father adjured us before his death, saying, |

| тaкw рцhте їHсифу: њстaви и5мъ непрaвду и3 грёхъ и4хъ, ћкw лук†ваz тебЁ показaша: и3 нн7э пріими2 непрaвду рабHвъ бGа nтцA твоегw2. И# плaкасz їHсифъ, глаг0лющымъ и5мъ къ немY. | Thus say ye to Joseph, Forgive them their injustice and their sin, forasmuch as they have done thee evil; and now pardon the injustice of the servants of the God of thy father. And Joseph wept while they spoke to him. |

| И# пришeдше къ немY рек0ша: сE, мы2 тебЁ раби2. | And they came to him and said, We, these persons, are thy servants. |

| И# речE къ ни6мъ їHсифъ: не б0йтесz, б9ій бо є4смь ѓзъ: | And Joseph said to them, Fear not, for I am God's. |
|

| вы2 совэщaсте на мS ѕл†z, бGъ же совэщA њ мнЁ во бlг†z, дабы2 бhло ћкоже днeсь, и3 препитaлисz бы лю1діе мн0зи. | Ye took counsel against me for evil, but God took counsel for me for good, that the matter might be as it is to-day, and much people might be fed. |

| И# речE и5мъ: не б0йтесz, ѓзъ препитaю вaсъ и3 д0мы вaшz. И# ўтёши и5хъ, и3 глаг0ла и5мъ по сeрдцу и4хъ. | And he said to them, Fear not, I will maintain you, and your families: and he comforted them, and spoke kindly to them. |

| И# всели1сz їHсифъ во є3гЂптэ сaмъ и3 брaтіz є3гw2 и3 вeсь д0мъ nтцA є3гw2: и3 поживE їHсифъ лётъ сто2 дeсzть. | And Joseph dwelt in Egypt, he and his brethren, and all the family of his father; and Joseph lived a hundred and ten years. |

| И# ви1дэ їHсифъ є3фрє1мли дёти до трeтіzгw р0да: и3 сhнове махjра сhна манассjина роди1шасz при бeдрэхъ їHсифовыхъ. | And Joseph saw the children of Ephraim to the third generation; and the sons of Machir the son of Manasse were borne on the sides of Joseph. |

| И# речE їHсифъ брaтіи своeй, глаг0лz: ѓзъ ўмирaю, посэщeніемъ же посэти1тъ вaсъ бGъ и3 и3зведeтъ вaсъ t земли2 сеS въ зeмлю, њ нeйже клsтсz бGъ nтцє1мъ нaшымъ ґвраaму, їсаaку и3 їaкwву. | And Joseph spoke to his brethren, saying, I die, and God will surely visit you, and will bring you out of this land to the land concerning which God sware to our fathers, Abraam, Isaac, and Jacob. |

| И# заклS їHсифъ сhны ї}лєвы, глаг0лz: въ посэщeніи, и4мже посэти1тъ вaсъ бGъ, совознеси1те и3 кHсти мо‰ tсю1ду съ вaми. | And Joseph adjured the sons of Israel, saying, At the visitation with which God shall visit you, then ye shall carry up my bones hence with you. |

| И# скончaсz їHсифъ сhй лётъ стA десzти2: и3 погреб0ша є3го2, и3 положи1ша въ рaцэ во є3гЂптэ. | And Joseph died, aged an hundred and ten years; and they prepared his corpse, and put him in a coffin in Egypt. |
