| Follow after love; yet desire earnestly spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy. | Держи1тесz любвE: ревнyйте же духHвнымъ, пaче же да прbр0чествуете. |

| For he that speaketh in a tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God; for no man understandeth; but in the spirit he speaketh mysteries. | Глаг0лzй бо љзы6ки, не человёкwмъ глаг0летъ, но бGу: никт0же бо слhшитъ, дyхомъ же глаг0летъ т†йны: |

| But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men edification, and exhortation, and consolation. | прbр0чествуzй же, человёкwмъ глаг0летъ созидaніе и3 ўтэшeніе и3 ўтверждeніе. |

| He that speaketh in a tongue edifieth himself; but he that prophesieth edifieth the church. | Глаг0лzй (бо) љзы6ки себE зи1ждетъ, ґ прbр0чествуzй цRковь зи1ждетъ. |

| Now I would have you all speak with tongues, but rather that ye should prophesy: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying. | Хощy же всёхъ вaсъ глаг0лати љзы6ки, пaче же да прорицaете: б0лій бо прbр0чествуzй, нeжели глаг0лzй љзы6ки, рaзвэ ѓще (кто2) сказyетъ, да цRковь созидaніе пріeмлетъ. |

| But now, brethren, if I come unto you speaking with tongues, what shall I profit you, unless I speak to you either by way of revelation, or of knowledge, or of prophesying, or of teaching? | (За? Rн7е7.) Нн7э же, брaтіе, ѓще пріидY къ вaмъ љзы6ки глаг0лz, кyю вaмъ п0льзу сотворю2, ѓще вaмъ не глаг0лю и3ли2 во tкровeніи, и3ли2 въ рaзумэ, и3ли2 въ прbр0чествіи, и3ли2 въ научeніи; |

| Even things without life, giving a voice, whether pipe or harp, if they give not a distinction in the sounds, how shall it be known what is piped or harped? | Nбaче безд{шнаz глaсъ даю6щаz, ѓще сопёль, ѓще гyсли, ѓще рaзнствіz пискaніемъ не дадsтъ, кaкw разyмно бyдетъ пискaніе и3ли2 гудeніе; |

| For if the trumpet give an uncertain voice, who shall prepare himself for war? | И$бо ѓще безвёстенъ глaсъ трубA дaстъ, кто2 ўгот0витсz на брaнь; |

| So also ye, unless ye utter by the tongue speech easy to be understood, how shall it be known what is spoken? for ye will be speaking into the air. | Тaкw и3 вы2 ѓще не благоразyмно сл0во дадитE љзhкомъ, кaкw ўразумёетсz глаг0лемое; Бyдете бо на воздyхъ глаг0люще. |

| There are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them is without signification. | Толи1цы ќбw, ѓще ключи1тсz, р0ди гласHвъ сyть въ мjрэ, и3 ни є3ди1нъ и4хъ безглaсенъ. |

| If then I know not the meaning of the voice, I shall be to him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh will be a barbarian unto me. | Ѓще u5бо не ўвёмъ си1лы глaса, бyду глаг0лющему и3ноzзhчникъ, и3 глаг0лющій мнЁ и3ноzзhчникъ. |

| So also ye, since ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may abound unto the edifying of the church. | Тaкw и3 вы2, понeже ревни1телє є3стE духовHмъ, (±же) къ созидaнію цRкве проси1те [и3щи1те], да и3збhточествуете. |

| Wherefore let him that speaketh in a tongue pray that he may interpret. | Тёмже глаг0лzй љзhкомъ да м0литсz, да сказyетъ. |

|
| For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful. | Ѓще бо молю1сz љзhкомъ, дyхъ м0й м0литсz, ґ ќмъ м0й без8 плодA є4сть. |
|

|
| What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. | Что2 u5бо є4сть; Помолю1сz дyхомъ, помолю1сz же и3 ўм0мъ: воспою2 дyхомъ, воспою1 же и3 ўм0мъ. |

| Else if thou bless with the spirit, how shall he that filleth the place of the unlearned say the Amen at thy giving of thanks, seeing he knoweth not what thou sayest? | Понeже ѓще благослови1ши дyхомъ, и3сполнszй мёсто невёжды кaкw речeтъ ґми1нь, по твоемY благодарeнію; Понeже не вёсть, что2 глаг0леши. |

| For thou verily givest thanks well, but the other is not edified. | Ты2 ќбw д0брэ благодари1ши, но другjй не созидaетсz. |

| I thank my God speaking with tongues more than you all: | Благодарю2 бGа моего2, пaче всёхъ вaсъ љзы6ки глаг0лz: |

| howbeit in the church I had rather speak five words with my understanding, that I might instruct others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue. | но въ цRкви хощY пsть словeсъ ўм0мъ мои1мъ глаг0лати, да и3 и4ны п0льзую, нeжели тмы6 словeсъ љзhкомъ. |

| Brethren, be not children in mind: yet in malice be ye babes, but in mind be men. | (За? Rн7ѕ7.) Брaтіе, не дёти бывaйте ўмы6: но ѕл0бою младeнствуйте, ўмы6 же совершeни бывaйте. |

| In the law it is written, By men of strange tongues and by strange lips will I speak unto this people; and not even thus will they hear me, saith the Lord. | Въ зак0нэ пи1шетъ: ћкw и3нhми љзы6ки и3 ўстны6 и3нhми возгlю лю1демъ си6мъ, и3 ни тaкw послyшаютъ менє2, гlетъ гDь. |

| Wherefore tongues are for a sign, not to them that believe, but to the unbelieving: but prophesying is for a sign, not to the unbelieving, but to them that believe. | Тёмже љзhцы въ знaменіе сyть не вёрующымъ, но невBрнымъ: ґ прbр0чество не невBрнымъ, но вёрующымъ. |

| If therefore the whole church be assembled together and all speak with tongues, and there come in men unlearned or unbelieving, will they not say that ye are mad? | Ѓще u5бо сни1детсz цRковь всS вкyпэ, и3 вси2 љзы6ки глаг0лютъ, вни1дутъ же (и3) неразyмивіи и3ли2 невёрніи, не рекyтъ ли, ћкw бэснyетесz; |

| But if all prophesy, and there come in one unbelieving or unlearned, he is reproved by all, he is judged by all; | Ѓще же вси2 прbр0чествуютъ, вни1детъ же нёкій невёренъ и3ли2 невёжда, њбличaетсz всёми, (и3) и3стzзyетсz t всёхъ, |

| and thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed. | и3 си1це т†йнаz сeрдца є3гw2 kвлє1на бывaютъ: и3 тaкw пaдъ ни1цъ покл0нитсz бGови, возвэщaz, ћкw вои1стинну бGъ съ вaми є4сть. |

| What is it then, brethren? When ye come together, each one of you hath a psalm, hath a teaching, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. | (За? Rн7з7.) Что2 u5бо є4сть, брaтіе; Е#гдA сх0дитесz, кjйждо вaсъ pал0мъ и4мать, ўчeніе и4мать, љзhкъ и4мать tкровeніе и4мать, сказaніе и4мать: вс‰ (же) къ созидaнію да бывaютъ. |

| If any man speaketh in a tongue, let it be by two, or at the most three, and that in turn; and let one interpret: | Ѓще љзhкомъ кто2 глаг0летъ, по двэмA, и3ли2 мн0жае по тріeмъ, и3 по чaсти: и3 є3ди1нъ да сказyетъ. |

| but if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. | Ѓще ли не бyдетъ сказaтель, да молчи1тъ въ цRкви, себё же да глаг0летъ и3 бGови. |

| And let the prophets speak by two or three, and let the others discern. | Прbр0цы же двA и3ли2 тріE да глаг0лютъ, и3 друзjи да разсуждaютъ: |

| But if a revelation be made to another sitting by, let the first keep silence. | ѓще ли и3н0му tкрhетсz сэдsщу, пeрвый да молчи1тъ. |

|
| For ye all can prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be exhorted; | М0жете бо вси2 по є3ди1ному прbр0чествовати, да вси2 ўчaтсz и3 вси2 ўтэшaютсz. |

| and the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets; | И# дyси прbр0честіи прbр0кwмъ повинyютсz: |

|
| for God is not a God of confusion, but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints. | нёсть бо нестроeніz бGъ, но ми1ра, ћкw во всёхъ цRквахъ с™hхъ. |

|
| Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but to be in subjection, as also saith the law. | Жєны2 вaшz въ цRквахъ да молчaтъ: не повелёсz бо и5мъ глаг0лати, но повиновaтисz, ћкоже и3 зак0нъ глаг0летъ. |

| And if they would learn anything, let them ask their own husbands at home: for it is shameful for women to speak in the church. | Ѓще ли чесомY научи1тисz хотsтъ, въ домY свои1хъ мужeй да вопрошaютъ: срaмно бо є4сть женЁ въ цRкви глаг0лати. |

| What? was it from you that the word of God went forth? or came it unto you alone? | И#ли2 t вaсъ сл0во б9іе и3зhде; И#ли2 вaсъ є3ди1ныхъ дости1же; |

| If any man thinketh himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him take knowledge of the things which I write unto you, that they are commandments of the Lord. | Ѓще кто2 мни1тсz прbр0къ бhти и3ли2 дух0венъ, да разумёетъ, ±же пишY вaмъ, занE гDни сyть зaпwвэди; |

| But if any man is ignorant, let him be ignorant. | ѓще ли кто2 не разумёетъ, да не разумэвaетъ. |

| Wherefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and forbid not to speak with tongues. | Тёмже, брaтіе мо‰, ревнyйте є4же прbр0чествовати, и3 є4же глаг0лати љзы6ки не возбранsйте: |

| Let all things be done decently and in order. | вс‰ же благоwбрaзнw и3 по чи1ну да бывaютъ. |
