Chapter 31
Главa lа
1
1
And Jacob heard the words of the sons of Laban, saying, Jacob has taken all that was our father's, and of our father's property has he gotten all this glory. Слhша же їaкwвъ словесA сынHвъ лавaновыхъ, глаг0лющихъ: взS їaкwвъ вс‰ ±же nтцA нaшегw, и3 t сyщихъ nтцA нaшегw сотвори2 всю2 слaву сію2.
2
2
And Jacob saw the countenance of Laban, and behold it was not toward him as before. И# ви1дэ їaкwвъ лицE лавaне, и3 сE не бsше къ немY, ћкw вчерA и3 трeтіzгw днE.
3
3
And the Lord said to Jacob, Return to the land of thy father, and to thy family, and I will be with thee. Речe же гDь ко їaкwву: возврати1сz въ зeмлю nтцA твоегw2 и3 въ р0дъ тв0й, и3 бyду съ тоб0ю.
4
4
And Jacob sent and called Lea and Rachel to the plain where the flocks were. Послaвъ же їaкwвъ, призвA лjю и3 рахи1ль на п0ле, и3дёже бsху стадA,
5
5
And he said to them, I see the face of your father, that it is not toward me as before, but the God of my father was with me. и3 речE и5мъ: ви1жду ѓзъ лицE nтцA вaшегw, ћкw нёсть ко мнЁ, ћкоже вчерA и3 трeтіzгw днE: бGъ же nтцA моегw2 бЁ со мн0ю:
6
6
And ye too know that with all my might I have served your father. и3 вы2 сaми вёсте, ћкw всeю си1лою моeю раб0тахъ nтцY вaшему:
7
7
But your father deceived me, and changed my wages for the ten lambs, yet God gave him not power to hurt me. nтeцъ же вaшъ њби1дэ мS и3 и3змэни2 мздY мою2 десzти2 ѓгнцєвъ, но не дадE є3мY бGъ ѕлA сотвори1ти мнЁ.
8
8
If he should say thus, The speckled shall be thy reward, then all the cattle would bear speckled; and if he should say, The white shall be thy reward, then would all the cattle bear white.
9
9
So God has taken away all the cattle of your father, and given them to me. И# tS бGъ вс‰ скоты2 nтцA вaшегw и3 дадE | мнЁ.
10
10
And it came to pass when the cattle conceived and were with young, that I beheld with mine eyes in sleep, and behold the he-goats and the rams leaping on the sheep and the she-goats, speckled and variegated and spotted with ash-coloured spots.
11
11
And the angel of God said to me in a dream, Jacob; and I said, What is it? И# речe ми ѓгGлъ б9ій во снЁ: їaкwве. Ѓзъ же рёхъ: чт0 є3сть;
12
12
And he said, Look up with thine eyes, and behold the he-goats and the rams leaping on the sheep and the she-goats, speckled and variegated and spotted with ash-coloured spots; for I have seen all things that Laban does to thee.
13
13
I am God that appeared to thee in the place of God, where thou anointedst a pillar to me, and vowedst to me there a vow; now then arise and depart out of this land, depart into the land of thy nativity, and I will be with thee. ѓзъ є4смь бGъ kви1выйсz тебЁ на мёстэ б9іи, и3дёже помaзалъ ми2 є3си2 тaмw ст0лпъ, и3 њбэтовaлъ ми2 є3си2 тaмw њбётъ: нн7э u5бо востaни и3 и3зhди t земли2 сеS, и3 и3ди2 въ зeмлю рождeніz твоегw2, и3 бyду съ тоб0ю.
14
14
And Rachel and Lea answered and said to him, Have we yet a part or inheritance in the house of our father? И# tвэщ†вши рахи1ль и3 лjа, рек0стэ є3мY: є3дA є4сть нaмъ є3щE чaсть и3ли2 наслёдіе въ домY nтцA нaшегw;
15
15
Are we not considered strangers by him? for he has sold us, and quite devoured our money. не ћкw ли чужhz вмэни1хомсz є3мY; продадe бо нaсъ и3 снэдE снёдію сребро2 нaше:
16
16
All the wealth and the glory which God has taken from our father, it shall be our's and our children's; now then do whatsoever God has said to thee. всE богaтство и3 слaва, ю4же tS бGъ t nтцA нaшегw, нaмъ бyдетъ и3 чaдwмъ нaшымъ: нн7э u5бо, є3ли6ка тебЁ речE бGъ, твори2.
17
17
And Jacob arose and took his wives and his children up on the camels; Востaвъ же їaкwвъ, взS жєны2 сво‰ и3 дёти сво‰ на велблю1ды,
18
18
and he took away all his possessions and all his store, which he had gotten in Mesopotamia, and all that belonged to him, to depart to Isaac his father in the land of Chanaan. и3 забрA вс‰ и3мBніz сво‰ и3 вс‰ стzж†ніz, ±же притzжA въ месопотaміи, и3 вс‰ сво‰, є4же tити2 ко їсаaку nтцY своемY въ зeмлю ханаaнскую.
19
19
And Laban went to shear his sheep; and Rachel stole her father's images. Лавaнъ же tи1де њстрищи2 џвцы сво‰: ўкрaде же рахи1ль јдwлы nтцA своегw2.
20
20
And Jacob hid the matter from Laban the Syrian, so as not to tell him that he ran away. Ўтаи1 же їaкwвъ t лавaна сЂріна, не повёдати є3мY, ћкw ўх0дитъ,
21
21
And he departed himself and all that belonged to him, and passed over the river, and went into the mountain Galaad. и3 tбэжE сaмъ, и3 вс‰ ±же є3гw2, и3 прeйде рэкY, и3 взhде на горY галаaдъ.
22
22
But it was told Laban the Syrian on the third day, that Jacob was fled. Повёдасz же лавaну сЂріну въ трeтій дeнь, ћкw бэжA їaкwвъ:
23
23
And having taken his brethren with him, he pursued after him seven days' journey, and overtook him on Mount Galaad.
24
24
And God came to Laban the Syrian in sleep by night, and said to him, Take heed to thyself that thou speak not at any time to Jacob evil things. Пріи1де же бGъ къ лавaну сЂріну н0щію во снЁ и3 речE є3мY: блюди2 себE, да не когдA возглаг0леши ко їaкwву ѕл†.
25
25
And Laban overtook Jacob; and Jacob pitched his tent in the mountain; and Laban stationed his brothers in the mount Galaad. И# пости1же лавaнъ їaкwва: їaкwвъ же постaви кyщу свою2 на горЁ: лавaнъ же разстaви брaтію свою2 на горЁ галаaдъ.
26
26
And Laban said to Jacob, What hast thou done? wherefore didst thou run away secretly, and pillage me, and lead away my daughters as captives taken with the sword? Речe же лавaнъ їaкwву: что2 сотвори1лъ є3си2; вскyю тaйнw ўшeлъ є3си2 и3 њкрaлъ є3си2 мS, и3 tвeлъ дщє1ри мо‰, ћкw плBнницы nрyжіемъ;
27
27
Whereas if thou hadst told me, I would have sent thee away with mirth, and with songs, and timbrels, and harp.
28
28
And I was not counted worthy to embrace my children and my daughters; now then thou hast wrought foolishly.
29
29
And now my hand has power to hurt thee; but the God of thy father spoke to me yesterday, saying, Take heed to thyself that thou speak not evil words to Jacob. Но бGъ nтцA твоегw2 вчерA речE ко мнЁ, гlz: блюди2 себE, да не когдA возглаг0леши ко їaкwву ѕл†.
30
30
Now then go on thy way, for thou hast earnestly desired to depart to the house of thy father; wherefore hast thou stolen my gods? Нн7э u5бо tшeлъ є3си2: желaніемъ бо возжелaлъ є3си2 tити2 въ д0мъ nтцA твоегw2: вскyю ўкрaлъ є3си2 б0ги мо‰;
31
31
And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was afraid; for I said, Lest at any time thou shouldest take away thy daughters from me, and all my possessions. Tвэщaвъ же їaкwвъ речE къ лавaну: понeже ўбоsхсz: рёхъ бо, да не кaкw tи1меши дщє1ри тво‰ t менє2, и3 вс‰ мо‰.
32
32
And Jacob said, With whomsoever thou shalt find thy gods, he shall not live in the presence of our brethren; take notice of what I have of thy property, and take it; and he observed nothing with him, but Jacob knew not that his wife Rachel had stolen them. И# речE їaкwвъ: ў негHже ѓще њбрsщеши б0ги тво‰, да не бyдетъ жи1въ пред8 брaтіею нaшею: ўзнавaй, что2 є4сть твоегw2 ў менє2, и3 возми2. И# не познA ў негw2 ничт0же: не вёдzше же їaкwвъ, ћкw рахи1ль женA є3гw2 ўкрадE |.
33
33
And Laban went in and searched in the house of Lea, and found them not; and he went out of the house of Lea, and searched in the house of Jacob, and in the house of the two maid-servants, and found them not; and he went also into the house of Rachel. И# и3зhде и3з8 кyщи лjины, и3 њб8искA кyщу їaкwвлю и3 въ кyщи двои1хъ рабhнь, и3 не њбрёте.
34
34
And Rachel took the idols, and cast them among the camels' packs, and sat upon them.
35
35
And she said to her father, Be not indignant, Sir; I cannot rise up before thee, for it is with me according to the manner of women. Laban searched in all the house, and found not the images. И#скa же лавaнъ по всeй кyщи, и3 не њбрёте јдwлwвъ.
36
36
And Jacob was angry, and strove with Laban; and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is my injustice, and what my sin, that thou hast pursued after me, Разгнёвасz же їaкwвъ и3 прsшесz съ лавaномъ. Tвэщaвъ же їaкwвъ речE лавaну: кaz непрaвда моS; и3 кjй грёхъ м0й, ћкw погнaлъ є3си2 в8слёдъ менє2,
37
37
and that thou hast searched all the furniture of my house? what hast thou found of all the furniture of thine house? set it here between thy relations and my relations, and let them decide between us two. и3 ћкw њб8искaлъ є3си2 вс‰ сосyды д0му моегw2; что2 њбрёлъ є3си2 t всёхъ сосyдwвъ д0му твоегw2; положи2 здЁ пред8 брaтіею твоeю и3 брaтіею моeю, и3 да разсyдzтъ междY nбёма нaма:
38
38
These twenty years have I been with thee; thy sheep, and thy she-goats have not failed in bearing; I devoured not the rams of thy cattle.
39
39
That which was taken of beasts I brought not to thee; I made good of myself the thefts of the day, and the thefts of the night.
40
40
I was parched with heat by day, and chilled with frost by night, and my sleep departed from my eyes.
41
41
These twenty years have I been in thy house; I served thee fourteen years for thy two daughters, and six years among thy sheep, and thou didst falsely rate my wages for ten lambs. сE, мнЁ двaдесzть лётъ ѓзъ є4смь въ домY твоeмъ, раб0тахъ тебЁ четыренaдесzть лётъ двyхъ рaди дщeрей твои1хъ и3 шeсть лётъ за џвцы тво‰, и3 преwби1дэлъ є3си2 мздY мою2 десzтію2 ѓгницами:
42
42
Unless I had the God of my father Abraam, and the fear of Isaac, now thou wouldest have sent me away empty; God saw my humiliation, and the labour of my hands, and rebuked thee yesterday. ѓще не бы2 бGъ nтцA моегw2 ґвраaма, и3 стрaхъ їсаaка бhлъ мнЁ, нн7э тщA tпусти1лъ бы мS є3си2: смирeніе моE и3 трyдъ рукY моє1ю ўви1дэ бGъ, и3 њбличи1 тz вчерA.
43
43
And Laban answered and said to Jacob, The daughters are my daughters, and the sons my sons, and the cattle are my cattle, and all things which thou seest are mine, and the property of my daughters; what shall I do to them to-day, or their children which they bore? Tвэщaвъ же лавaнъ, речE ко їaкwву: дщє1ри дщє1ри мо‰ и3 сhнове сhнове мои2, и3 ск0ти ск0ти мои2, и3 вс‰ є3ли6ка ты2 ви1диши мо‰ сyть и3 дщeрей мои1хъ: что2 сотворю2 и5мъ днeсь, и3ли2 чaдwмъ и4хъ, ±же роди1ста;
44
44
Now then come, let me make a covenant, both I and thou, and it shall be for a witness between me and thee; and he said to him, Behold, there is no one with us; behold, God is witness between me and thee. Речe же є3мY їaкwвъ: сE, никт0же съ нaми є4сть: ви1ждь, бGъ свидётель междY мн0ю и3 тоб0ю.
45
45
And Jacob having taken a stone, set it up for a pillar. И# взeмъ їaкwвъ кaмень, постaви є3го2 въ ст0лпъ.
46
46
And Jacob said to his brethren, Gather stones; and they gathered stones and made a heap, and ate there upon the heap; and Laban said to him, This heap witnesses between me and thee to-day. Речe же їaкwвъ брaтіи своeй: собери1те кaменіе. И# собрaша кaменіе и3 сотвори1ша х0лмъ: и3 kд0ша, и3 пи1ша тaмw на холмЁ.
47
47
And Laban called it, the Heap of Testimony; and Jacob called it, the Witness Heap. И# прозвA є3го2 лавaнъ х0лмъ свидётелства: їaкwвъ же прозвA х0лмъ свидётель.
48
48
And Laban said to Jacob, Behold this heap, and the pillar, which I have set between me and thee; this heap witnesses, and this pillar witnesses; therefore its name was called, the Heap witnesses. Речe же лавaнъ ко їaкwву: сE, х0лмъ сeй и3 ст0лпъ, є3г0же постaвихъ междY мн0ю и3 тоб0ю, свидётелствуетъ х0лмъ сeй и3 свидётелствуетъ ст0лпъ сeй: сегw2 рaди прозвaсz и4мz х0лмъ свидётелствуетъ,
49
49
And the vision of which he said—Let God look to it between me and thee, because we are about to depart from each other,— и3 видёніе, є4же речE: да ви1дитъ бGъ междY мн0ю и3 тоб0ю, ћкw tи1демъ дрyгъ t дрyга:
50
50
If thou shalt humble my daughters, if thou shouldest take wives in addition to my daughters, see, there is no one with us looking on. God is witness between me and thee.
50a
And Laban said to Jacob, Behold, this heap, and this pillar are a witness.
52
52
For if I should not cross over unto thee, neither shouldest thou cross over to me, for mischief beyond this heap and this pillar.
53
53
The God of Abraam and the God of Nachor judge between us; and Jacob swore by the Fear of his father Isaac. бGъ ґвраaмль и3 бGъ нахHровъ да сyдитъ междY нaма. И# клsсz їaкwвъ стрaхомъ nтцA своегw2 їсаaка,
54
54
And he offered a sacrifice in the mountain, and called his brethren, and they ate and drank, and slept in the mountain. и3 пожрE їaкwвъ жeртву на горЁ и3 воззвA брaтію свою2: kд0ша же и3 пи1ша и3 спaша на горЁ.
