| And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and beheld, and lo! Esau his brother coming, and four hundred men with him; and Jacob divided the children to Lea and to Rachel, and the two handmaidens. | Воззрёвъ же їaкwвъ nчи1ма свои1ма, ви1дэ: и3 сE, и3сavъ брaтъ є3гw2 и3дhй, и3 четhриста мужeй съ ни1мъ. И# раздэли2 їaкwвъ дёти лjи и3 рахи1ли и3 двyмъ рабhнzмъ, |

| And he put the two handmaidens and their children with the first, and Lea and her children behind, and Rachel and Joseph last. | и3 постaви џбэ рабы6ни и3 сhны и4хъ въ пeрвыхъ, лjю же и3 дёти є3S позади2, ґ рахи1ль и3 їHсифа въ послёднихъ: |

| But he advanced himself before them, and did reverence to the ground seven times, until he drew near to his brother. | сaмъ же и3зhде пeрвэе пред8 ни1ми и3 поклони1сz до земли2 седми1жды, д0ндеже прибли1жисz къ брaту своемY. |

| And Esau ran on to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him; and they both wept. | И# притечE и3сavъ во срётеніе є3мY: и3 њб8eмь є3го2, припадE на вhю є3гw2 и3 њблобызA є3го2: и3 плaкастасz џба. |

| And Esau looked up and saw the women and the children, and said, What are these to thee? And he said, The children with which God has mercifully blessed thy servant. | И# воззрёвъ и3сavъ, ви1дэ жєны2 и3 дёти и3 речE: что2 сjи тебЁ сyть; Џнъ же речE: дёти, и4миже поми1лова бGъ рабA твоего2. |

| And the maid-servants and their children drew near and did reverence. | И# приступи1ша рабы6ни и3 дёти и4хъ и3 поклони1шасz: |

| And Lea and her children drew near and did reverence; and after this drew near Rachel and Joseph, and did reverence. | и3 приступи2 лjа и3 дёти є3S и3 поклони1шасz: посeмъ же приступи2 рахи1ль и3 їHсифъ и3 поклони1стасz. |

| And he said, What are these things to thee, all these companies that I have met? And he said, That thy servant might find grace in thy sight, my lord. | И# речE: что2 сі‰ тебЁ сyть, полцы2 сjи вси2, ±же срэт0хъ; Џнъ же речE: да њбрsщетъ рaбъ тв0й благодaть пред8 тоб0ю, господи1не. |

| And Esau said, I have much, my brother; keep thine own. | Речe же и3сavъ: сyть мнЁ мнHга, брaте: да бyдутъ тебЁ тво‰. |

| And Jacob said, If I have found grace in thy sight, receive the gifts through my hands; therefore have I seen thy face, as if any one should see the face of God, and thou shalt be well-pleased with me. | И# речE їaкwвъ: ѓще њбрэт0хъ благодaть пред8 тоб0ю, пріими2 дaры t рукY моє1ю: сегw2 рaди ви1дэхъ лицE твоE, ћкw бы ѓще кто2 ви1дэлъ лицE б9іе: и3 возблаговоли1ши њ мнЁ: |

| Receive my blessings, which I have brought thee, because God has had mercy on me, and I have all things; and he constrained him, and he took them. | пріими2 благословeніе моE, є4же принес0хъ тебЁ, ћкw поми1лова мS бGъ, и3 сyть ми2 вс‰. И# принyди є3го2, и3 взS. |

| And he said, Let us depart, and proceed right onward. | И# речE: востaвше п0йдемъ прsмw. |

| And he said to him, My lord knows, that the children are very tender, and the flocks and the herds with me are with young; if then I shall drive them hard one day, all the cattle will die. | Речe же є3мY: господи1нъ м0й вёсть, ћкw дёти мои2 ю4ны, џвцы же и3 гов‰да брeмєнны ў менє2: ѓще u5бо поженY | є3ди1нъ дeнь, и4змретъ вeсь ск0тъ: |

| Let my lord go on before his servant, and I shall have strength on the road according to the ease of the journey before me, and according to the strength of the children, until I come to my lord to Seir. | да пред8и1детъ господи1нъ м0й пред8 раб0мъ свои1мъ: ѓзъ же ўкрэплю1сz на пути2 ўмедлeніемъ шeствіz моегw2, є4же предо мн0ю, и3 ћкоже возм0гутъ и3ти2 дёти, д0ндеже пріидY къ господи1ну моемY въ сиjръ. |

| And Esau said, I will leave with thee some of the people who are with me. And he said, Why so? it is enough that I have found favour before thee, my lord. | И# речE и3сavъ: њстaвлю съ тоб0ю t людjй сyщихъ со мн0ю. Џнъ же речE: вскyю сіE; довлёетъ, ћкw њбрэт0хъ благодaть пред8 тоб0ю, господи1не. |

| And Esau returned on that day on his journey to Seir. | Возврати1сz же и3сavъ въ т0мъ дни2 путeмъ свои1мъ въ сиjръ: |

| And Jacob departs to his tents; and he made for himself there habitations, and for his cattle he made booths; therefore he called the name of that place, Booths. | и3 їaкwвъ п0йде въ кyщы, и3 постaви себЁ тaмw хр†мины, и3 скотY своемY сотвори2 кyщы: сегw2 рaди наречE и4мz мёсту томY кyщы. |

| And Jacob came to Salem, a city of Secima, which is in the land of Chanaan, when he departed out of Mesopotamia of Syria, and took up a position in front of the city. | И# пріи1де їaкwвъ въ сали1мъ грaдъ сікjмскъ, и4же є4сть въ земли2 ханаaнстэй, є3гдA пріи1де t месопотaміи сЂрскіz, и3 стA пред8 лицeмъ грaда: |

| And he bought the portion of the field, where he pitched his tent, of Emmor the father of Sychem, for a hundred lambs. | и3 купи2 чaсть селA, и3дёже постaви кyщу свою2 тaмw, ў є3ммHра nтцA сmхeмлz, стомA ѓгнцы: |

| And he set up there an altar, and called on the God of Israel. | и3 постaви тaмw жeртвенникъ, и3 призвA бGа ї}лева. |
