Главa м7в

1
And Jacob having seen that there was a sale of corn in Egypt, said to his sons, Why are ye indolent? Ви1дэвъ же їaкwвъ, ћкw кyплz є4сть (пшени1цы) во є3гЂптэ, речE сынHмъ свои6мъ: почто2 не радитE;
2
2
Behold, I have heard that there is corn in Egypt; go down thither, and buy for us a little food, that we may live, and not die. сE, слhшахъ, ћкw є4сть пшени1ца во є3гЂптэ: и3ди1те тaмw и3 купи1те нaмъ мaлw пи1щи, да жи1ви бyдемъ и3 не ќмремъ.
3
3
And the ten brethren of Joseph went down to buy corn out of Egypt.
4
4
But Jacob sent not Benjamin, the brother of Joseph, with his brethren; for he said, Lest, haply, disease befal him. Веніамjна же, брaта їHсифова, не tпусти2 съ брaтіею є3гw2, речe бо: да не когдA случи1тсz (на пути2) є3мY ѕло2.
5
5
And the sons of Israel came to buy with those that came, for the famine was in the land of Chanaan.
6
6
And Joseph was ruler of the land; he sold to all the people of the land. And the brethren of Joseph, having come, did reverence to him, bowing with the face to the ground.
7
7
And when Joseph saw his brethren, he knew them, and estranged himself from them, and spoke hard words to them; and said to them, Whence are ye come? And they said, Out of the land of Chanaan, to buy food. Ви1дэвъ же їHсифъ брaтію свою2, познA: и3 tчуждaшесz и4хъ, и3 глаг0лаше и5мъ жeстокw, и3 речE и5мъ: tкyду пріид0сте; Nни1 же рёша: t земли2 ханаaнскіz купи1ти пи1щи.
8
8
And Joseph knew his brethren, but they knew not him. Познa же їHсифъ брaтію свою2: nни1 же не познaша є3гw2.
9
9
And Joseph remembered his dream, which he saw; and he said to them, Ye are spies; to observe the marks of the land are ye come.
10
10
But they said, Nay, Sir, we thy servants are come to buy food; N
11
11
we are all sons of one man; we are peaceable, thy servants are not spies.
12
12
And he said to them, Nay, but ye are come to observe the marks of the land.
13
13
And they said, We thy servants are twelve brethren, in the land of Chanaan; and, behold, the youngest is with our father to-day, but the other one is not. Nни1 же рёша: дванaдесzть є3смы2 брaтіz раби2 твои2 въ земли2 ханаaни: и3 сE, мeншій (t нaсъ) со nтцeмъ нaшимъ днeсь, ґ другaгw нёсть.
14
14
And Joseph said to them, This is it that I spoke to you, saying, ye are spies; Речe же и5мъ їHсифъ: сіE є4сть, є4же рек0хъ вaмъ, глаг0лz, ћкw соглzд†таи є3стE:
15
15
herein shall ye be manifested; by the health of Pharao, ye shall not depart hence, unless your younger brother come hither. въ сeмъ kвитeсz: тaкw ми2 здрaвіz фараHнz, не и3зhдете tсю1ду, ѓще брaтъ вaшъ мeншій не пріи1детъ сёмw:
16
16
Send one of you, and take your brother; and go ye to prison, till your words be clear, whether ye speak the truth or not; but, if not, by the health of Pharao, verily ye are spies. посли1те t себє2 є3ди1наго, и3 возми1те брaта вaшего: вh же держи1ми бyдите, д0ндеже ћвэ бyдутъ словесA в†ша, ѓще и4стинствуете, и3ли2 ни2: ѓще же ни2, тaкw ми2 здрaвіz фараHнz, вои1стинну соглzд†таи є3стE.
17
17
And he put them in prison three days.
18
18
And he said to them on the third day, This do, and ye shall live, for I fear God.
19
19
If ye be peaceable, let one of your brethren be detained in prison; but go ye, and carry back the corn ye have purchased. ѓще ми1рницы є3стE, брaтъ вaшъ да ўдeржитсz є3ди1нъ под8 стрaжею: сaми же и3ди1те и3 tвези1те кyпленую пшени1цу вaшу,
20
20
And bring your younger brother to me, and your words shall be believed; but, if not, ye shall die. And they did so. и3 брaта вaшего мeншаго приведи1те ко мнЁ, и3 вBрна бyдутъ словесA в†ша: ѓще же ни2, ќмрете. И# сотвори1ша тaкw.
21
21
And each said to his brother, Yes, indeed, for we are in fault concerning our brother, when we disregarded the anguish of his soul, when he besought us, and we hearkened not to him; and therefore has this affliction come upon us. И# речE кjйждо къ брaту своемY: є4й, во грэсёхъ бо є3смы2 брaта рaди нaшегw, ћкw презрёхомъ скорбёніе души2 є3гw2, є3гдA молsшесz нaмъ, и3 не послyшахомъ є3гw2: и3 сегw2 рaди пріи1де на ны2 скорбёніе сіE.
22
22
And Ruben answered them, saying, Did I not speak to you, saying, Hurt not the boy, and ye heard me not? and, behold, his blood is required.
23
23
But they knew not that Joseph understood them; for there was an interpreter between them.
24
24
And Joseph turned away from them, and wept; and again he came to them, and spoke to them; and he took Symeon from them, and bound him before their eyes.
25
25
And Joseph gave orders to fill their vessels with corn, and to return their money to each into his sack, and to give them provision for the way; and it was so done to them. И# бhсть и5мъ тaкw.
26
26
And having put the corn on the asses, they departed thence.
27
27
And one having opened his sack to give his asses fodder, at the place where they rested, saw also his bundle of money, for it was on the mouth of his sack. Tрэши1въ же є3ди1нъ врeтище своE дaти пи1щу nслHмъ свои6мъ, и3дёже стaша, и3 ви1дэ ќзолъ сребрA своегw2, и3 бЁ верхY ќстіz врeтищнагw.
28
28
And he said to his brethren, My money has been restored to me, and behold this is in my sack. And their heart was wonder-struck, and they were troubled, saying one to another, What is this that God has done to us? И# речE брaтіи своeй: возвращен0 ми є4сть сребро2, и3 сE, сіE во врeтищи моeмъ. И# ўжасeсz сeрдце и4хъ: и3 возмzт0шасz, дрyгъ ко дрyгу глаг0люще: что2 сіE сотвори2 бGъ нaмъ;
29
29
And they came to their father, Jacob, into the land of Chanaan, and reported to him all that had happened to them, saying, Пріид0ша же ко їaкwву, nтцY своемY, въ зeмлю ханаaню и3 повёдаша є3мY вс‰ случи6вшаzсz и5мъ, глаг0люще:
30
30
The man, the lord of the land, spoke harsh words to us, and put us in prison as spies of the land.
31
31
And we said to him, We are men of peace, we are not spies.
32
32
We are twelve brethren, sons of our father; one is not, and the youngest is with his father to-day in the land of Chanaan. дванaдесzть брaтіz є3смы2, сhнове nтцA нaшегw: є3ди1нагw нёсть, ґ мeншій со nтцeмъ нaшимъ днeсь въ земли2 ханаaни:
33
33
And the man, the lord of the land, said to us, Herein shall I know that ye are peaceable; leave one brother here with me, and having taken the corn ye have purchased for your family, depart. речe же нaмъ мyжъ господи1нъ земли2 (тоS): по семY ўвёмъ, ћкw ми1рницы є3стE: брaта є3ди1наго њстaвите здЁ ў менє2, ґ кyпленую пшени1цу д0му вaшему взeмше tиди1те
34
34
And bring to me your younger brother; then I shall know that ye are not spies, but that ye are men of peace: and I will restore you your brother, and ye shall trade in the land. и3 приведи1те ко мнЁ брaта вaшего мeншаго: и3 ўвёмъ, ћкw не соглzд†таи є3стE, но ћкw ми1рницы є3стE: и3 брaта вaшего tдaмъ вaмъ, и3 кyплю твори1те въ земли2.
35
35
And it came to pass as they were emptying their sacks, there was each man's bundle of money in his sack; and they and their father saw their bundles of money, and they were afraid. Бhсть же є3гдA и3спразднsху врє1тища сво‰, и3 бsше ќзолъ сребрA во врeтищи коегHждо и4хъ: и3 ви1дэша ќзлы сребрA своегw2 сaми и3 nтeцъ и4хъ, и3 ўбоsшасz.
36
36
And their father Jacob said to them, Ye have bereaved me. Joseph is not, Symeon is not, and will ye take Benjamin? all these things have come upon me.
37
37
And Ruben spoke to his father, saying, Slay my two sons, if I bring him not to thee; give him into my hand, and I will bring him back to thee.
38
38
But he said, My son shall not go down with you, because his brother is dead, and he only has been left; and suppose it shall come to pass that he is afflicted by the way by which ye go, then ye shall bring down my old age with sorrow to Hades.
