| And it came to pass, on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple, and preaching the gospel, there came upon him the priests and the scribes with the elders; | (За? §f7.)

| and they spake unto him, saying, Tell us: By what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority?
3
3
| And he answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one question; and tell me: | Tвэщaвъ же речE къ ни6мъ: вопрошy вы и3 ѓзъ є3ди1нагw словесE, и3 рцhте ми2: |
4
4
| The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men?
5
5
| And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why did ye not believe him?
6
6
| But if we shall say, From men; all the people will stone us: for they are persuaded that John was a prophet. |
7
7
| And they answered, that they knew not whence it was. |
8
8
| And Jesus said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things. |
9
9
| And he began to speak unto the people this parable: A man planted a vineyard, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into another country for a long time. |
10
10
| And at the season he sent unto the husbandmen a servant, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. | И# во врeмz послA къ дёлателємъ рабA, да t плодA віногрaда дадyтъ є3мY: дёлатєли же би1вше є3го2, послaша тщA. |
11
11
| And he sent yet another servant: and him also they beat, and handled him shamefully, and sent him away empty. | И# приложи2 послaти другaго рабA: nни1 же и3 того2 би1вше и3 досади1вше є3мY, послaша тщA. |
12
12
| And he sent yet a third: and him also they wounded, and cast him forth. |
13
13
| And the lord of the vineyard said, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; it may be they will reverence him when they see him. | Речe же господи1нъ віногрaда: что2 сотворю2; послю2 сhна моего2 возлю1бленнаго, є3дA кaкw, є3го2 ви1дэвше, ўсрамsтсz. |
14
14
| But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours. |
15
15
| And they cast him forth out of the vineyard, and killed him. What therefore will the lord of the vineyard do unto them?
16
16
| He will come and destroy these husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid. |
17
17
| But he looked upon them, and said, What then is this that is written, The stone which the builders rejected, The same was made the head of the corner?
18
18
| Everyone that falleth on that stone shall be broken to pieces; but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will scatter him as dust. |
19
19
| And the chief priests and the scribes sought to lay hands on him in that very hour; and they were afraid: for they perceived that he spake this parable against them. R№.) И# взыскaша ґрхіерeє и3 книжни1цы возложи1ти нaнь рyцэ въ т0й чaсъ, и3 ўбоsшасz нар0да: разумёша бо, ћкw къ ни6мъ при1тчу сію2 речE. |
20
20
| And they watched him, and sent forth spies, who feigned themselves to be righteous, that they might take hold of his speech, so that they might deliver him up to the rule and to the authority of the governor. | И# наблю1дше послaша лazтєли [навётникwвъ], притворsющихъ себE прaведники бhти: да и4мутъ є3го2 въ словеси2, во є4же предaти є3го2 начaлству и3 w4бласти и3гeмwновэ. |
21
21
| And they asked him, saying, Teacher, we know that thou sayest and teachest rightly, and acceptest not the person of any, but of a truth teachest the way of God: | И# вопроси1ша є3го2, глаг0люще: ўчи1телю, вёмы, ћкw прaвw глаг0леши и3 ўчи1ши, и3 не на лиц† зри1ши, но вои1стинну пути2 б9ію ўчи1ши: |
22
22
| Is it lawful for us to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
23
23
| But he perceived their craftiness, and said unto them, Why make ye trial of me?
24
24
| Show me a denarius. Whose image and superscription hath it? And they answered and said, Caesar’s. | покажи1те ми2 цaту [динaрій]: чjй и4мать w4бразъ и3 надписaніе; Tвэщaвше же рек0ша: кeсаревъ. |
25
25
| And he said unto them, Render then unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s. |
26
26
| And they were not able to take hold of his saying before the people: and they marveled at his answer, and held their peace. |
27
27
| And there came to him certain of the Sadducees, they that deny that there is a resurrection; and they asked him, | (За? Rв7.)
28
28
| saying, Teacher, Moses wrote unto us, that if a man’s brother die, having a wife, and he die childless, his brother should take the wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. | глаг0люще: ўчи1телю, мwmсeй написA нaмъ: ѓще комY брaтъ ќмретъ и3мhй женY, и3 т0й безчaденъ ќмретъ, да брaтъ є3гw2 п0йметъ женY и3 возстaвитъ сёмz брaту своемY. |
29
29
| There were therefore seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and died childless; | Сeдмь u5бо брaтій бЁ: и3 пeрвый поsтъ женY, ќмре безчaденъ: |
30
30
| and the second took her to wife, and he died childless: | и3 поsтъ вторhй женY, и3 т0й ќмре безчaденъ: |
31
31
| and the third likewise took her; and likewise the seven also: they left no children, and died.
32
32
| And last of all the woman also died.
33
33
| In the resurrection therefore whose wife of them shall she be? for the seven had her to wife. |
34
34
| And Jesus answered and said unto them, The sons of this world marry, and are given in marriage: | И# tвэщaвъ речE и5мъ ї}съ: сhнове вёка сегw2 жeнzтсz и3 посzгaютъ: |
35
35
| but they that are accounted worthy to attain to that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: | ґ спод0бльшіисz вёкъ w4нъ ўлучи1ти и3 воскrніе, є4же t мeртвыхъ, ни жeнzтсz, ни посzгaютъ: |
36
36
| for neither can they die anymore: for they are equal unto the angels; and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection. |
37
37
| But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed, in the place concerning the Bush, when he calleth the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. | Ґ ћкw востаю1тъ мeртвіи, и3 мwmсeй сказA при купинЁ, ћкоже глаг0летъ гDа бGа ґвраaмлz и3 бGа їсаaкова и3 бGа їaкwвлz. |
38
38
| Now he is not the God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. |
39
39
| And certain of the scribes answered and said, Teacher, thou hast well said. |
40
40
| And they durst not anymore ask him any question.
41
41
| And he said unto them, How say they that the Christ is David’s son? | кaкw глаг0лютъ хrтA сн7а дв7дова бhти; |
42
42
| Even David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, | Сaмъ бо дв7дъ глаг0летъ въ кни1зэ pал0мстэй: речE гDь гDеви моемY: сэди2 њдеснyю менє2, |
43
43
| Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet. |
44
44
| David therefore calleth him Lord, and how is he his son? | Дв7дъ u5бо гDа є3го2 нарицaетъ, и3 кaкw сн7ъ є3мY є4сть; |
45
45
| And in the hearing of all the people he said unto his disciples, | (За? RG.)
46
46
| Beware of the scribes, who desire to walk in long robes, and love salutations in the marketplaces, and chief seats in the synagogues, and chief places at feasts; | внемли1те себЁ t кни6жникъ, хотsщихъ ходи1ти во nдeждахъ, и3 лю1бzщихъ цэлов†ніz на т0ржищихъ и3 предсэд†ніz на с0нмищихъ, и3 преждевозлеж†ніz на вeчерzхъ: |
47
47
| who devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers: these shall receive greater condemnation. |
