| And after this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that no wind should blow on the earth, or on the sea, or upon any tree. | І після цього бачив я чотирьох ангелів, які стоять на чотирьох кутах землі, тримаючи чотири вітри землі, щоб не дув вітер ні на землю, ні на море, ні на яке дерево. |

| And I saw another angel ascend from the sunrising, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a great voice to the four angels to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, | І бачив я іншого ангела, який сходив від сходу сонця, і мав печать Бога Живого. І викликнув він гучним голосом до чотирьох ангелів, яким дано шкодити землі і морю, кажучи: |

| saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we shall have sealed the servants of our God on their foreheads. | не робіть шкоди ні землі, ні морю, ні деревам, доки не покладемо печаті на чолах рабів Бога нашого. |

| And I heard the number of them that were sealed, a hundred and forty and four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel: | І я чув кількість пропечатаних: пропечатаних було сто сорок чотири тисячі від усіх колін синів Ізраїлевих. |

| Of the tribe of Judah were sealed twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand; | З коліна Іудиного пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; з коліна Рувимового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; з коліна Гадового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; |

| Of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand; | з коліна Асирового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; з коліна Неффалимового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; з коліна Манасіїного пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; |

| Of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand; | з коліна Симеонового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; з коліна Левіїнового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; з коліна Іссахарового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; |

| Of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand; Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. | з коліна Завулонового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; з коліна Йосифового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч; з коліна Веніамінового пропечатано дванадцять тисяч. |

| After these things I saw, and behold, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of every nation and of all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, arrayed in white robes, and palms in their hands; | Після цього глянув я, і ось, велика кількість людей, яких ніхто не міг перелічити, з усіх племен і колін, і народів і людей, стояли перед престолом і перед Агнцем у білому одязі і з пальмовими віттями в руках своїх. |

| and they cry with a great voice, saying, Salvation unto our God who sitteth on the throne, and unto the Lamb. | І викликували гучним голосом, кажучи: спасіння Богові нашому, що сидить на престолі, і Агнцеві! |

| And all the angels were standing round about his throne, and about the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshiped God, | І всі ангели стояли навколо престолу і старців, і чотирьох тварин і впали перед престолом на лиця свої, і поклонилися Богові, |

| saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God forever and ever. Amen. | кажучи: амінь! благословення і слава, і премудрість, і подяка, і честь, і сила, і кріпкість Богові нашому на віки віків! Амінь. |

| And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, These that are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and whence came they? | І, почавши говорити, один із старців запитав мене: хто ці, одягнені у білий одяг, і звідки прийшли? |

| And I said unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come out of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. | Я сказав йому: ти знаєш, господарю. І він сказав мені: це ті, які прийшли від великої скорботи; вони омили одяг свій і вибілили одяг свій кров’ю Агнця. |

| Therefore are they before the throne of God; and they serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them. | За це вони перебувають нині перед престолом Бога і служать Йому день і ніч у храмі Його, і Той, Хто сидить на престолі, буде жити в них. |
|

| They shall hunger no more, neither thirst anymore; neither shall the sun strike upon them, nor any heat: | Вони вже не будуть мати ні голоду, ні спраги, і не буде палити їх сонце і ніяка спека: |
|

|
| for the Lamb that is in the midst of the throne is their shepherd, and guideth them unto fountains of waters of life: and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes. | бо Агнець, Який посеред престолу, буде пасти їх і водити їх до живих джерел вод; і витре Бог усяку сльозу з очей їхніх. |
