Па'мять и^ѓ^сїева въ сложе'нїе џимїа'ма, състрое'ное дњ'ло мљ=рова'рника.
|
The remembrance of Josias is like the composition of the perfume that is made by the art of the apothecary: it is sweet as honey in all mouths, and as music at a banquet of wine.
|

въ вся'цњхъ ё^стњхъ ја%ко ме'дъ ё^слади'тся, и^ ја%ко мђсическа пњ'нїя в пи'рњ вина`.
|
He behaved himself uprightly in the conversion of the people, and took away the abominations of iniquity.
|

|
тои ё^пра'ви вся` въ ѓ^браще'нїе людїи, и^ эTя'тъ ме'рꙁость беꙁако'нїя.
|
He directed his heart unto the Lord, and in the time of the ungodly he established the worship of God.
|

|
и^ ё^пра'ви преD гм~ъ срDце е^го. въ дн~и беꙁако'нникъ ё^крњпи' пра'вовњрїе,
|
All, except David and Ezekias and Josias, were defective: for they forsook the law of the most High, even the kings of Juda failed;
|

|
ра'звњ дв~да и^е^ꙁекїя і^ѓ^сїа, вс^и прегрњши'ша прегрњше'нїемъ.
|
for they gave their power unto others, and their glory to a strange nation.
|
|

|
ѓ^ста'виша б^о ꙁако'нъ вы'шняго е^гоже и^ цр~и і^ё%дови ё^клони'шася,
|
They burnt the chosen city of the sanctuary, and made the streets desolate, according to the prophecy of Jeremias.
|

|
да'ша б^о ро'гъ свои и%нњмъ, и^ сла'вђ свою ја^ꙁы'кђ тђждемђ”
|
For they entreated him evil, who nevertheless was a prophet, sanctified in his mother's womb, that he might root out, and afflict, and destroy; and that he might build up also, and plant.

Пожго'ша и^ꙁбра'нъ гра'дъ ст~ыни, и ѓ^пђсти'ша пђти` е^го, рђко'ю і^е^ремїиною.
|
It was Ezekiel who saw the glorious vision, which was shewed him upon the chariot of the cherubim.

ѓ^ꙁлоби'ша б^о е^го, и^ то'и въ чре'вњ сщ~енъ бы'сть пррoкъ, и^скорени'ти и^ ѓ^ꙁлоби'ти и^ погђбити, та'кожде съꙁда'ти и^ насади'ти”
|
For he made mention of the enemies under the figure of the rain, and directed them that went right.
|

І$еꙁекїиль и^же ви'дњ видњ'нїе сла'вы, ю%же покаꙁа` е^мђ въ ѓ^рђж'їи херђви'мᲆстњ”
|
And of the twelve prophets let the memorial be blessed, and let their bones flourish again out of their place: for they comforted Jacob, and delivered them by assured hope.

Помянђ б^о враги въ бђрњ, и^ ё^блажи'ти направля'ющиX пђть.
|
How shall we magnify Zorobabel? he was even as a signet on the right hand:

І$ ѓ^бо'юна'десяте пррoкђ да процвњтђтъ ко'сти эT мњстъ свои^хъ, ё^тњши б^о і^а'кова, и^ꙁба'вилъ я& мно'жествомъ крњ'пости”
|
So was Jesus the son of Josedec: who in their time builded the house, and set up an holy temple to the Lord, which was prepared for everlasting glory.

Ка'ко въꙁвели'чи ꙁороваве'ля, и^ сеи ја%ко печа'ть на деснњи рђцњ”
|
And among the elect was Neemias, whose renown is great, who raised up for us the walls that were fallen, and set up the gates and the bars, and raised up our ruins again.

Та'кожде і^сђсᲆ сн~ъ ѓ^седе'ковъ, ја%же въ дн~и и^хъ съꙁда'ста до'мъ, и^ въꙁдвиго'ста цр~ковь ст~ђ гв~и, и^ ё^готованђ въ сла'вђ вњка”
|
But upon the earth was no man created like Enoch; for he was taken from the earth.

І$ нее^мїи на мно'ѕњ бђ'ди па'мяT, и^ въꙁдви'гшемђ намᲆ стњ'ны паDшаа и^ поста'вльша две'ри и^ заво'ры, и^ въꙁдви'гшаго до'мђ распа'лины”
|
Neither was there a man born like unto Joseph, a governor of his brethren, a stay of the people, whose bones were regarded of the Lord.

Никтоже съꙁда'нъ бы'сть та'ко ја%ко е^ноX на ꙁемли`, то'и б^о въꙁнесенъ бы'сть эT земля`”
|
Sem and Seth were in great honour among men, and so was Adam above every living thing in the creation.

І$ѓ'сифъ же бы'сть мђж'ъ во'жDь бра'тїи, и^ ё^твержDе'нїе лю'деM. и^ ко'сти е^го посњще'ны бы'ша.

|
си'џъ и^ симъ прославле'на бы'ста въ чл~цXњ. и^ паче вся'кого живо'тнаго въ тва'ри а^да'мъ”
