|
Не твори` ѕла` и^ не пости'гнет# т^я ѕло`,
|
Do no evil, so shall no harm come unto thee.
|
|

|

|
|
эTстђпи` эT непра'вды и^ ё^клониTся эT тебе;
|
Depart from the unjust, and iniquity shall turn away from thee.
|
|

|
3
|
|
Сн~е не сњи на бразнахъ непра'вды, и^ не и'маши пожа'ти и^хъ седми'цею”
|
My son, sow not upon the furrows of unrighteousness, and thou shalt not reap them sevenfold.
|
|

|

|
|
Не проси` ё^ г~а влDчества, ни эT цр~я сњда'нїа сла'вы.
|
Seek not of the Lord preeminence, neither of the king the seat of honour.
|
|

|
|
не ѓ^правда'и себе преD бм~ъ, и^ паче цр~я не мђдри'ся”
|
Justify not thyself before the Lord; and boast not of thy wisdom before the king.
|
|

|
|
Не проси` да бђдеши сђдїи, е^да немочи` начнеши неправды эTлђчи'ти” да не когда ё^бои'шися лица` си'лнаго, и^ положи'ши соблаꙁнᲆ въ пра'вости твое'и”
|
Seek not to be judge, being not able to take away iniquity; lest at any time thou fear the person of the mighty, and lay a stumblingblock in the way of thy uprightness.
|

|
Не съгрњша'и въ мно'жествњ гра'да, и^ не низложи` себе въ народњ.
|
Offend not against the multitude of a city, and then thou shalt not cast thyself down among the people.
|

|
|
не свяжи` двои'цею грњха`, и^ ни е^ді'номђ же непови'ненъ бђдеши”
|
Bind not one sin upon another; for in one thou shalt not be unpunished.
|
|

|
|
Не рци` на мно'жество да'роv мои^хъ възри'тъ, и^ принося'ще ми б~ђ вы'шнемђ прїиметъ”
|
Say not, God will look upon the multitude of my oblations, and when I offer to the most high God, he will accept it.
|
|

|
|
Не и^знемага'и въ мл~твњ своеи, и^ млsтыню твори` не презри”
|
Be not fainthearted when thou makest thy prayer, and neglect not to give alms.
|
|

|
|
Не рђга'ися чл~кђ сђщђ в го'рести дш~и е^го, е^сть б^о смиря'и и^ въꙁнося'и”
|
Laugh no man to scorn in the bitterness of his soul: for there is one which humbleth and exalteth.
|
|

|
|
Не ѓ^ри` лжа` на бра'та свое^го, ниже дрђгђ тогоy сътвори`.
|
Devise not a lie against thy brother; neither do the like to thy friend.
|
|

|
|
не въсхоти` лга'ти вся'коя лжњ`, во'и^нъство б^о ея не на бл~го”
|
Use not to make any manner of lie: for the custom thereof is not good.
|
|

|
|
Не чти'ся въ мно'жествњ ста'рецъ, и^ не повтори` сло'ва въ мл~твњ свое'и.
|
Use not many words in a multitude of elders, and make not much babbling when thou prayest.
|
|

|
|
не възненави'ди ᲄрђдна дњла, и^ дњла'нїя эT вы'шняго създана.
|
Hate not laborious work, neither husbandry, which the most High hath ordained.
|
|

|
|
не премњни себе къ мно'жествђ грњшникъ,
|
Number not thyself among the multitude of sinners, but remember that wrath will not tarry long.
|
|

|
|
смири` дш~ђ свою ѕњло,
|
Humble thy soul greatly: for the vengeance of the ungodly is fire and worms.
|
|

|
18
|
|
помяни ја%ко гнњвъ не замедлитъ,
|
Change not a friend for any good by no means; neither a faithful brother for the gold of Suphir.
|
|
19
|
19
|
|
ја%ко меs нечести'ваго ѓ%гнь и^ червъ”
|
Forego not a wise and good woman: for her grace is above gold.
|
|

|
|
Не и^змᲇни дрђга не приѓ^брњте'нїя ради, ни бра'та прsна ꙁла'томъ сђфирскиM.
|
Whereas thy servant worketh truly, entreat him not evil, nor the hireling that bestoweth himself wholly for thee.
|
|

|
|
не лиши'ся жены премђдры и^ бл~гы, и^б^о блгDть ея паче зла'та”
|
Let thy soul love a good servant, and defraud him not of liberty.
|
|

|

|
|
Не ѓ^злоби` раба` дњ'лающа въ и%стиннњ, ниже нае'мника дњлающа дш~ею своею”
|
Hast thou cattle? have an eye to them: and if they be for thy profit, keep them with thee.
|
|

|
|
Раба` раꙁђми'ва да лю'битᲆ дш~а твоя, и^ не лиши` е^го свободы`”
|
Hast thou children? instruct them, and bow down their neck from their youth.
|
|

|
|
Є$сть ли т^и ско'тъ посњща'и е^го, и^ а'ще т^и бђдетъ ключи'мо да пребђдеT ти.
|
Hast thou daughters? have a care of their body, and shew not thyself cheerful toward them.
|
|

|

|
|
сђть л^и ти ча'да накажи` я&, и^ преклони` эT ю'ности вы'ю и^хъ”
|
Marry thy daughter, and so shalt thou have performed a weighty matter: but give her to a man of understanding.
|
|

|
|
Сђть л^и т^и дще'ри внима'и тњлђ иX и^ не ё^тњша'и к нимъ лица` свое^го.
|
Hast thou a wife after thy mind? forsake her not.
|
|

|
|
Вы'дяи дще'рь и^ бђдеши съврьшивъ дњло вели'ко, и^ мђжеви разђми'вђ да'ждь ю&”
|
Honour thy father with thy whole heart, and forget not the sorrows of thy mother.
|
|

|
|
Є$сть л^и т^и жена` по дђши не и^ждени` ея`”
|
Remember that thou wast begotten of them; and how canst thou recompense them the things that they have done for thee?
|
|

|
|
Всњмъ срDцемъ своиM просла'ви эTц~а свое^го, и^ матернњ болᲇзни не забђди”
|
Fear the Lord with all thy soul, and reverence his priests.
|
|

|
|
Помяни` ја%ко тњмA рожденъ е^си, и чт^о и^ма въздаси` то е^же възе'мъ эT ниX”
|
Love him that made thee with all thy strength, and forsake not his ministers.
|
|

|
|
Всею дш~ею своею говњи гв~и, і^е^реи е^го чти`”
|
Fear the Lord, and honour the priest: and give him his portion, as it is commanded thee: the firstfruits, and the trespass offering, and the gift of the shoulders, and the sacrifice of sanctification, and the firstfruits of the holy things.

|
Всею силою своею възлюби` сътворшаh т^я, и^ слђжи'тель е^го не ѓ^ста'ви”
|
And stretch thine hand unto the poor, that thy blessing may be perfected.
|
|

|
|
Бо'ися г~а и^ просла'ви і^ере'я. и^ да'ждь ча'сть е^го ја%коже заповњдано ти
|
A gift hath grace in the sight of every man living; and for the dead detain it not.
|
|

|
эT нача'ла, и^ ѓ^ согрњше'нїи. и^ дая'нїе мы'ш#ца, и^ жрътвђ ст~ыни, и^ нача'токъ ст~ыхъ,
|
Fail not to be with them that weep, and mourn with them that mourn.
|
|

|
|
и^ ни'щемђ простри` рђкђ свою. да съблюдется блsвенїе твое,
|
Be not slow to visit the sick: for that shall make thee to be beloved.
|
|

|

|
|
блгDть данная преD вся'кимъ живы'мъ, и^ наD мр~твьцемъ не възъбрани` блгDти.
|
Whatsoever thou takest in hand, remember the end, and thou shalt never do amiss.
|
|

|
|
|
и^ не лиши'ся эT пла'чющихъ, и^ съ сњтђю'щими сњтђи”
|
|
|

|
|
|
Не лњни'ся посњща'ти боля'ща, и^ сими б^о възлю'бленъ бђдеши.
|
|
|
39
|
|
|
въ всњхъ словесехъ свои^хъ помина'и послњдняя своя, и^ въ вњки не съгрњши'ши”
