Chapter 3
1
1
Что2 u5бо ли1шшее їудeю [к0е u5бо преимyщество їудeа]; и3ли2 кaz п0льза њбрёзаніz; What advantage then hath the Jew? or what is the profit of circumcision?
2
2
Мн0гw, по всsкому w4бразу: пeрвэе [наипaче] бо, ћкw ввёрєна бhша и5мъ словесA б9іz. Much every way: for first of all, that they were entrusted with the oracles of God.
3
3
For what if some were without faith? shall their want of faith make of none effect the faithfulness of God?
4
4
2. God forbid: yea, let God be found true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy words, And mightest prevail when thou comest into judgment.
5
5
Ѓще ли непрaвда нaша б9ію прaвду составлsетъ, что2 речeмъ, є3дa ли непрвdнъ бGъ наносsй гнёвъ, по человёку глаг0лю. But if our unrighteousness commendeth the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unrighteous who visiteth with wrath? (I speak after the manner of men.)
6
6
God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?
7
7
Ѓще бо и4стина б9іz въ моeй лжи2 и3збhточествова въ слaву є3гw2, что2 є3щE и3 ѓзъ ћкw грёшникъ њсуждaюсz; For if the truth of God through my lie abounded unto his glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner?
8
8
И# не ћкоже хyлимсz, и3 ћкоже глаг0лютъ нёцыи нaсъ глаг0лати, ћкw сотвори1мъ ѕл†z, да пріи1дутъ бlг†z: и4хже сyдъ првdнъ є4сть. and why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), Let us do evil, that good may come? whose condemnation is just.
9
9
Что2 u5бо; преимёемъ ли; Никaкоже: пред8укори1хомъ бо [прeжде бо њбвинeни є3смы2] їудє1и же и3 є4ллины вс‰ [вси2] под8 грэх0мъ бhти, What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we before laid to the charge both of Jews and Greeks, that they are all under sin;
10
10
ћкоже є4сть пи1сано, ћкw нёсть првdнъ никт0же: as it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one;
11
11
нёсть разумэвazй и3 нёсть взыскazй бGа: There is none that understandeth, There is none that seeketh after God;
12
12
They have all turned aside, they are together become unprofitable; There is none that doeth good, no, not so much as one:
13
13
Their throat is an open sepulcher; With their tongues they have used deceit: The poison of asps is under their lips:
14
14
Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness:
15
15
СкHры н0ги и4хъ проліsти кр0вь: Their feet are swift to shed blood;
16
16
сокрушeніе и3 њѕлоблeніе на путeхъ и4хъ, Destruction and misery are in their ways;
17
17
And the way of peace have they not known:
18
18
There is no fear of God before their eyes.
19
19
п7д7.) Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it speaketh to them that are under the law; that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God:
20
20
A. because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified in his sight; for through the law cometh the knowledge of sin.
21
21
Нн7э же кромЁ зак0на прaвда б9іz kви1сz, свидётелствуема t зак0на и3 прbрHкъ. But now apart from the law a righteousness of God hath been manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
22
22
Прaвда же б9іz вёрою ї}съ хrт0вою во всёхъ и3 на всёхъ вёрующихъ: нёсть бо рaзнствіz, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe; for there is no distinction;
23
23
вси1 бо согрэши1ша, и3 лишeни сyть слaвы б9іz, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God;
24
24
њправдaеми тyне блгdтію є3гw2, и3збавлeніемъ, є4же њ хrтЁ ї}сэ, being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25
25
є3г0же предположи2 бGъ њчищeніе вёрою въ кр0ви є3гw2, въ kвлeніе прaвды своеS, за tпущeніе прeжде бhвшихъ грэхHвъ, whom God set forth to be a propitiation, through faith, in his blood, to show his righteousness because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime,
26
26
въ долготерпёніи б9іи, и3 въ показaніе прaвды є3гw2 въ нн7эшнее врeмz, во є4же бhти є3мY првdну и3 њправдaющу сyщаго t вёры ї}совы. in the forbearance of God; for showing, I say, his righteousness at this present season: that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him that hath faith in Jesus.
27
27
ГдЁ u5бо похвалA, tгнaсz. Where then is the glorying? It is excluded. By what manner of law? of works? Nay: but by a law of faith.
28
28
п7е7.) We reckon therefore that a man is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.
29
29
Or is God the God of Jews only? is he not the God of Gentiles also? Yea, of Gentiles also:
30
30
понeже є3ди1нъ бGъ, и4же њправди1тъ њбрёзаніе t вёры и3 неwбрёзаніе вёрою. since indeed it is one God who shall justify the circumcision by faith, and the uncircumcision through faith.
31
31
Do we then make the law of none effect through faith? God forbid: nay, we establish the law.
