| (За? R.) И$стину глаг0лю њ хrтЁ, не лгY, послушествyющей ми2 с0вэсти моeй д¦омъ с™hмъ, | I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience bearing witness with me in the Holy Spirit, |

| ћкw ск0рбь ми2 є4сть вeліz и3 непрестаю1щаz болёзнь сeрдцу моемY: | that I have great sorrow and unceasing pain in my heart. |

| моли1лъ бhхъ сS бо сaмъ ѓзъ tлучeнъ бhти t хrтA по брaтіи моeй, ср0дницэхъ мои1хъ по пл0ти, | For I could wish that I myself were anathema from Christ for my brethren’s sake, my kinsmen according to the flesh: |

| и5же сyть ї}лjте, и4хже всн7овлeніе и3 слaва, и3 завёти и3 законоположeніе, и3 служeніе и3 њбэтов†ніz: | who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; |

| и4хже nтцы2, и3 t ни1хже хrт0съ по пл0ти, сhй над8 всёми бGъ блгcвeнъ во вёки, ґми1нь. | whose are the fathers, and of whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen. |

| (За? R№.) Не тaкоже, ћкw tпадE сл0во б9іе: не вси1 бо сyщіи t ї}лz, сjи ї}ль, | But it is not as though the word of God hath come to nought. For they are not all Israel, that are of Israel: |

| ни занE сyть сёмz ґвраaмле, вси2 ч†да: но во їсаaцэ, речE, наречeтсz ти2 сёмz. | neither, because they are Abraham’s seed, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called. |

| Си1рэчь, не ч†да пл0тскаz, сі‰ ч†да б9іz: но ч†да њбэтовaніz причитaютсz въ сёмz. | That is, it is not the children of the flesh that are children of God; but the children of the promise are reckoned for a seed. |
|

| Њбэтовaніz бо сл0во сіE: на сіE врeмz пріидY, и3 бyдетъ сaррэ сhнъ. | For this is a word of promise, According to this season will I come, and Sarah shall have a son. |

| Не т0чію же, но и3 ревeкка t є3ди1нагw л0жа їсаaка џтца нaшегw и3мyщи: | And not only so; but Rebecca also having conceived by one, even by our father Isaac— |

| є3щe бо не р0ждшымсz, ни сотвори1вшымъ что2 бlго и3ли2 ѕло2, да по и3збрaнію предложeніе б9іе пребyдетъ | for the children being not yet born, neither having done anything good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth, |

| не t дёлъ, но t призывaющагw, речeсz є4й, ћкw б0лій пораб0таетъ мeншему, | it was said unto her, The elder shall serve the younger. |

| ћкоже є4сть пи1сано: їaкwва возлюби1хъ, и3сavа же возненави1дэхъ. | Even as it is written, Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated. |

| Что2 u5бо речeмъ; Е#дA непрaвда ў бGа; Да не бyдетъ. | What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. |
|

|
| Мwmсeови бо гlетъ: поми1лую, є3г0же ѓще поми1лую, и3 ўщeдрю, є3г0же ѓще ўщeдрю. | For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion. |
|

| Тёмже u5бо ни хотsщагw, ни текyщагw, но ми1лующагw бGа. | So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that hath mercy. |

| Глаг0летъ бо писaніе фараHнови: ћкw на и4стое сjе воздвиг0хъ тS, ћкw да покажY тоб0ю си1лу мою2, и3 да возвэсти1тсz и4мz моE по всeй земли2. | For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, For this very purpose did I raise thee up, that I might show in thee my power, and that my name might be published abroad in all the earth. |

| (За? Rв7.) Тёмже u5бо є3г0же х0щетъ, ми1луетъ: ґ є3г0же х0щетъ, њжесточaетъ. | So then he hath mercy on whom he will, and whom he will he hardeneth. |

| Речeши u5бо ми2: чесw2 рaди є3щE ўкорsетъ, в0ли бо є3гw2 кто2 проти1витисz м0жетъ; | Thou wilt say then unto me, Why doth he still find fault? For who withstandeth his will? |

| Тёмже u5бо, q, человёче, ты2 кто2 є3си2, проти1въ tвэщazй бGови; є3дA речeтъ здaніе создaвшему є5: почто2 мS сотвори1лъ є3си2 тaкw; | Nay but, O man, who art thou that repliest against God? Shall the thing formed say to him that formed it, Why didst thou make me thus? |

| И#ли2 не и4мать влaсти скудeльникъ на брeніи, t тогHжде смэшeніz сотвори1ти џвъ ќбw сосyдъ въ чeсть, џвъ же не въ чeсть; | Or hath not the potter a right over the clay, from the same lump to make one part a vessel unto honor, and another unto dishonor? |

| Ѓще же хотS бGъ показaти гнёвъ св0й и3 kви1ти си1лу свою2, пренесE во мн0зэ долготерпёніи сосyды гнёва совершє1ны въ поги1бель: | What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much long-suffering vessels of wrath fitted unto destruction: |

| и3 да скaжетъ богaтство слaвы своеS на сосyдэхъ млcти, ±же пред8угот0ва въ слaву, | and that he might make known the riches of his glory upon vessels of mercy, which he afore prepared unto glory, |

| и5хже и3 призвA нaсъ не т0чію t їудє1й, но и3 t kзы6къ: | even us, whom he also called, not from the Jews only, but also from the Gentiles? |

| ћкоже и3 во њсjи гlетъ: нарекY не лю1ди мо‰ лю1ди мо‰, и3 невозлю1бленую возлю1блену: | As he saith also in Hosea, I will call that my people, which was not my people; And her beloved, that was not beloved. |

| и3 бyдетъ, на мёстэ, и3дёже речeсz и5мъ: не лю1діе мои2 є3стE вы2, тaмw нарекyтсz сн7ове бGа живaгw. | And it shall be, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, There shall they be called sons of the living God. |

| И#сaіа же вопіeтъ њ ї}ли: ѓще бyдетъ число2 сынHвъ ї}левыхъ ћкw пес0къ морскjй, њстaнокъ спасeтсz: | And Isaiah crieth concerning Israel, If the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, it is the remnant that shall be saved: |

| сл0во бо скончавaz и3 сокращaz въ прaвдэ, ћкw сл0во сокращeно сотвори1тъ гDь на земли2, | for he is finishing the matter and cutting it short in righteousness; because the Lord will make it a matter cut short upon the earth. |

| и3 ћкоже проречE и3сaіа: ѓще не бы гDь саваHfъ њстaвилъ нaмъ сёмене, ћкоже сод0мъ ќбw бhли бhхомъ, и3 ћкоже гом0рру ўпод0билисz бhхомъ. | And, as Isaiah hath said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, We had become as Sodom, and had been made like unto Gomorrah. |

| Что2 u5бо речeмъ, ћкw kзhцы, не гонsщіи прaвду, постиг0ша прaвду, прaвду же, ћже t вёры: | What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who followed not after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith: |

| ї}ль же, гонS зак0нъ прaвды, въ зак0нъ прaвды не пости1же. | but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, did not arrive at a law of righteousness. |

| Чесw2 рaди; ЗанE не t вёры, но t дёлъ зак0на: преткнyшасz бо њ кaмень претыкaніz, | Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by works of the law. For they stumbled at the stone of stumbling; |

| ћкоже є4сть пи1сано: сE, полагaю въ сіHнэ кaмень претыкaніz и3 кaмень соблaзна: и3 всsкъ вёруzй въ џнь не постыди1тсz. | even as it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense: And whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame. |
