Chapter 11	Глава 11

And when they draw nigh unto Jerusalem, unto Bethsphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples,	(Зач. 49) І єгда́ прибли́жи[ша]ся во Ієрусали́м, в Вифсфагі́ю і Вифа́нію, к горі́ Єлео́нстій, посла́ два от учени́к Свої́х

and saith unto them, Go your way into the village that is over against you: and straightaway as ye enter into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man hath ever sat; loose him, and bring him.	і глаго́ла ї́ма: іді́та в весь, я́же єсть пря́мо ва́ма; і а́біє входя́ща в ню, обря́щета жреб'я́ прив'я́зано, на не́же нікто́же от челові́к всі́де; отрі́шша є, приведі́та;

And if anyone say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightaway he will send him hither.	і а́ще кто ва́ма рече́ть: что твори́та сіє́? Рци́та, я́ко Госпо́дь тре́буєть є; і а́біє по́слеть є сі́мо.

And they went away, and found a colt tied at the door without in the open street; and they loose him.	Ідо́ста же, і обріто́ста жреб'я́ прив'я́зано при две́рех вні на распу́тії, і отріши́ста є.

And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?	І ні́ції от стоя́щих ту глаго́лаху ї́ма: что ді́єта отріша́юща жреб'я́?

And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.	О́на же рі́ста їм, я́коже запові́да ї́ма Ісу́с, і оста́виша я.

And they brought the colt unto Jesus, and cast on him their garments; and he sat upon him.	І приведо́ста жреб'я́ ко Ісу́сові, і возложи́ша на не ри́зи своя́, і всі́де на не.

And many spread their garments upon the way; and others cut branches from the trees, and spread them in the way.	Мно́зі же ри́зи своя́ постла́ша по путі́; друзі́ї же ва́їя рі́заху от дре́вія і постила́ху по путі́.

And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:	І предходя́щії і вслід гряду́щії вопія́ху, глаго́люще: оса́нна, благослове́н Гряди́й во і́м'я Госпо́днє!

Blessed is the kingdom of our father David, That cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest.	Благослове́нно гряду́щеє Ца́рство во і́м'я Го́спода отця́ на́шего Дави́да! Оса́нна в ви́шніх!

And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple; and when he had looked round about upon all things, it being now eventide, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.	(Зач. 50) І вни́де во Ієрусали́м Ісу́с і в це́рков; і согля́дав вся, по́зді уже́ су́щу часу́, ізи́де в Вифа́нію со обімана́десяте.

And on the morrow, when they were come out from Bethany, he hungered.	І нау́тріє ізше́дшим їм от Вифа́нії, взалка́;

And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs.	і ви́дів смоко́вницю іздале́ча, іму́щу ли́ствіє, при́йде, а́ще у́бо что обря́щеть на ней; і прише́д к ней, нічесо́же обрі́те, то́кмо ли́ствіє; не у бо бі вре́м'я смо́квам.

And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward forever. And his disciples heard it.	І отвіща́в Ісу́с рече́ єй: да не ктому́ от тебе́ во ві́ки нікто́же плода́ сність. І сли́шаху ученици́ Єго́.

And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves;	І прийдо́ша (па́ки) во Ієрусали́м. І вшед Ісу́с в це́рков, нача́т ізгони́ти продаю́щия і купу́ющия в це́ркві; і трапе́зи торжнико́м і сіда́лища продаю́щих го́луби іспрове́рже;

and he would not suffer that any man should carry a vessel through the temple.	і не дая́ше, да кто мимонесе́ть сосу́д сквозі́ це́рков.

And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers.	І уча́ше, глаго́ля їм: ність ли пи́сано, я́ко храм Мой храм моли́тви нарече́ться всім язи́ком? Ви же сотвори́сте єго́ верте́п разбо́йником.

And the scribes and the chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.	І сли́шаша кни́жници і архієре́є, і іска́ху, ка́ко Єго́ погуб'я́т; боя́хубося Єго́, я́ко весь наро́д дивля́шеся о уче́ніії Єго́.

And when even was come, he went forth out of the city.	І я́ко по́зді бисть, ісхожда́ше вон із гра́да.

And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots.	І у́тро мимоходя́ще, ви́діша смоко́вницю ізсо́хшу із коре́нія.

And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.	І воспом'яну́в Петр глаго́ла Єму́: Равві́, виждь, смоко́вниця, ю́же прокля́л єси́, у́сше.

And answering, Jesus saith unto them, Have faith in God.	І отвіща́в Ісу́с глаго́ла їм:

For verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith cometh to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.	(Зач. 51) імі́йте ві́ру Бо́жию; амі́нь бо глаго́лю вам, я́ко, і́же а́ще рече́ть горі́ сей: дви́гнися і ве́рзися в мо́ре, і не разми́слить в се́рдці своє́м, но ві́ру і́меть, я́ко є́же глаго́леть, бива́єть, — бу́деть єму́, є́же а́ще рече́ть;

Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye ask for, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.	сего́ ра́ди глаго́лю вам: вся, єли́ка а́ще моля́щеся про́сите, ві́руйте, я́ко приє́млете, — і бу́деть вам;

And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against anyone; that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.	і єгда́ стоїте́ моля́щеся, отпуща́йте, а́ще что і́мате на кого́, да і Оте́ць ваш, І́же єсть на небесі́х, отпу́стить вам согріше́нія ва́ша;

But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.	а́ще ли же ви не отпуща́єте, ні Оте́ць ваш, І́же єсть на небесі́х, отпу́стить вам согріше́ній ва́ших.

And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders;	(Зач. 52) І прийдо́ша па́ки во Ієрусали́м. І в це́ркві ходя́щу Єму́, прийдо́ша к Нему́ архієре́є, і кни́жници, і ста́рці

and they say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?	і глаго́лаша Єму́: ко́єю о́бластію сія́ твори́ши? І кто Ті о́бласть сію́ даде́, да сія́ твори́ши?

And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.	Ісу́с же отвіща́в рече́ їм: вопрошу́ ви і Аз словесе́ єди́наго, і отвіща́йте Мі: і реку́ вам, ко́єю о́бластію сія́ творю́;

The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? answer me.	креще́ніє Іоа́нново с небесе́ ли бі, іли́ от челові́к? Отвіща́йте Мі.

And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?	І ми́сляху в себі́, глаго́люще: а́ще рече́м, с небесе́, рече́ть: почто́ у́бо не ві́ровасте єму́?

But should we say, From men—they feared the people: for all held John to be a prophet indeed.	Но а́ще рече́м, от челові́к: боя́хуся люді́й, всі бо імі́яху Іоа́нна, я́ко воі́стину проро́к бі.

And they answer and say unto Jesus, We know not. And Jesus answereth and saith unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.	І отвіща́вше глаго́лаша Ісу́сові: не ві́ми. І отвіща́в Ісу́с глаго́ла їм: ні Аз глаго́лю вам, ко́єю о́бластію сія́ творю́.
