| ΚΑΙ πᾶς ᾿Ισραὴλ ὁ συλλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν, καὶ οὗτοι καταγεγραμμένοι ἐν βιβλίῳ τῶν βασιλέων ᾿Ισραὴλ καὶ ᾿Ιούδα μετὰ τῶν ἀποικισθέντων εἰς Βαβυλῶνα ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις αὐτῶν, | And this is all Israel, even their enrolment: and these are written down in the book of the kings of Israel and Juda, with the names of them that were carried away to Babylon for their transgressions. |

| καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες πρότερον ἐν ταῖς κατασχέσεσιν αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν ᾿Ισραήλ, οἱ ἱερεῖς, οἱ Λευῖται καὶ οἱ δεδομένοι. | And they that dwelt before in their possessions in the cities of Israel, the priests, the Levites, and the appointed ones. |

| καὶ ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλὴμ κατῴκησαν ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Ιούδα καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Βενιαμὶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν ᾿Εφραὶμ καὶ Μανασσῆ· | And there dwelt in Jerusalem some of the children of Juda, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasse. |

| Γνωθὶ καὶ υἱὸς ᾿Αμμιούδ, υἱοῦ ᾿Αμρί, υἱοῦ υἱῶν Φαρὲς υἱοῦ ᾿Ιούδα. | And Gnothi, and the son of Samiud, the son of Amri, the son of Ambraim, the son of Buni, son of the sons of Phares, the son of Juda. |

| καὶ ἐκ τῶν Σηλωνί· ᾿Ασαΐα πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ. | And of the Selonites; Asaia his first-born, and his sons. |

| ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Ζαρά· ᾿Ιεὴλ καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν, ἑξακόσιοι καὶ ἐνενήκοντα. | Of the sons of Zara; Jeel, and their brethren, six hundred and ninety. |

| καὶ ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Βενιαμίν· Σαλὼ υἱὸς Μοσολλὰμ υἱοῦ ᾿Ωδουΐα υἱοῦ ᾿Ασινοῦ | And of the sons of Benjamin; Salom, son of Mosollam, son of Odouia, son of Asinu. |

| καὶ ᾿Ιεμναὰ υἱὸς ῾Ιεροβοὰμ καὶ ᾿Ηλώ· οὗτοι υἱοὶ ᾿Οζὶ υἱοῦ Μαχίρ· καὶ Μασσαλὴμ υἱὸς Σαφατία υἱοῦ Ραγουὴλ υἱοῦ ᾿Ιεμναΐ | And Jemnaa son of Jeroboam, and Elo: these are the sons of Ozi the son of Machir: and Mosollam, son of Saphatia, son of Raguel, son of Jemnai; |

| καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν, ἐννακόσιοι πεντηκονταέξ, πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες ἄρχοντες πατριῶν κατ᾿ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν. | and their brethren according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six, all the men were heads of families according to the houses of their fathers. |

| καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἱερέων· ᾿Ιωδαὲ καὶ ᾿Ιωαρὶμ καὶ ᾿Ιαχὶν | And of the priests; Jodaë, and Joarim, and Jachin, |

| καὶ ᾿Αζαρία υἱὸς Χελκία υἱοῦ Μοσολλὰμ υἱοῦ Σαδὼκ υἱοῦ Μαραϊὼθ υἱοῦ ᾿Αχιτὼβ ἡγούμενος οἴκου τοῦ Θεοῦ | and Azaria the son of Chelcias, the son of Mosollam, the son of Sadoc, the son of Maraïoth, the son of Achitob, the ruler of the house of God; |

| καὶ ᾿Αδαΐα υἱὸς ᾿Ιραὰμ υἱοῦ Φασχὼρ υἱοῦ Μελχία καὶ Μαασαία υἱὸς ᾿Αδιὴλ υἱοῦ ᾿Εζιρὰ υἱοῦ Μοσολλὰμ υἱοῦ Μασελμὼθ υἱοῦ ᾿Εμμὴρ | and Adaia son of Iraam, son of Phascor, son of Melchia, and Maasaia son of Adiel, son of Ezira, son of Mosollam, son of Maselmoth, son of Emmer; |

| καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οἴκων πατριῶν αὐτῶν χίλιοι καὶ ἑπτακόσιοι καὶ ἑξήκοντα, ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει εἰς ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου τοῦ Θεοῦ. | and their brethren, chiefs of their families, a thousand seven hundred and sixty, mighty men for the work of the ministration of the house of God. |

| καὶ ἐκ τῶν Λευιτῶν· Σαμαΐα υἱὸς ᾿Ασὼβ υἱοῦ ᾿Εζρικὰμ υἱοῦ ᾿Ασαβία ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρί, | And of the Levites; Samaia son of Asob, son of Ezricam, son of Asabia, of the sons of Merari. |

| καὶ Βακβακὰρ καὶ ᾿Αρὴς καὶ Γαλαὰλ καὶ Ματθανίας υἱὸς Μιχὰ υἱοῦ Ζεχρὶ υἱοῦ ᾿Ασὰφ | And Bacbacar, and Ares, and Galaal, and Matthanias son of Micha, son of Zechri, son of Asaph; |

| καὶ ᾿Αβδία υἱὸς Σαμία υἱοῦ Γαλαὰλ υἱοῦ ᾿Ιδιθοῦν καὶ Βαραχία υἱὸς ᾿Οσσὰ υἱοῦ ῾Ελκανά, ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν ταῖς κώμαις Νετωφατί. | and Abdia, son of Samia, son of Galaal, son of Idithun, and Barachia son of Ossa, son of Helcana—who dwelt in the villages of the Notephatites. |

| οἱ πυλωροί· Σαλώμ, ᾿Ακούμ, Τελμὼν καὶ Αἰμὰν καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν, Σαλὼμ ὁ ἄρχων· | The door-keepers; Salom, Acum, Telmon, and Diman, and their brethren; Salom was the chief; |

| καὶ ἕως ταύτης ἐν τῇ πύλῃ τοῦ βασιλέως κατ᾿ ἀνατολάς· αὗται αἱ πύλαι τῶν παρεμβολῶν υἱῶν Λευί. | and he waited hitherto in the king's gate eastward: these are the gates of the companies of the sons of Levi. |

| καὶ Σαλὼμ υἱὸς Κωρὴ υἱοῦ ᾿Αβιασὰφ υἱοῦ Κορέ. καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς οἶκον πατρὸς αὐτοῦ, οἱ Κορῖται, ἐπὶ τῶν ἔργων τῆς λειτουργίας φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τῆς σκηνῆς, καὶ πατέρες αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῆς παρεμβολῆς Κυρίου φυλάσσοντες τὴν εἴσοδον. | And Sellum the son of Core, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core, and his brethren belonging to the house of his father, the Corites were over the works of the service, keeping the watches of the tabernacle, and their fathers over the camp of the Lord, keeping the entrance. |

| καὶ Φινεὲς υἱὸς ᾿Ελεάζαρ ἡγούμενος ἦν ἐπ᾿ αὐτῶν ἔμπροσθεν Κυρίου, καὶ οὗτοι μετ᾿ αὐτοῦ. | And Phinees son of Eleazar was head over them before the Lord, and these were with him. |

| Ζαχαρίας υἱὸς Μασαλαμὶ πυλωρὸς τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου. | Zacharias the son of Mosollami was keeper of the door of the tabernacle of witness. |

|
| πάντες οἱ ἐκλεκτοὶ ἐπὶ τῆς πύλης ἐν ταῖς πύλαις διακόσιοι καὶ δεκαδύο· οὗτοι ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν, ὁ καταλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν· τούτους ἔστησε Δαυὶδ καὶ Σαμουὴλ ὁ βλέπων τῇ πίστει αὐτῶν. | All the chosen porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve, these were in their courts, this was their distribution: these David and Samuel the seer established in their charge. |

| καὶ οὗτοι καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν πυλῶν ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου καὶ ἐν οἴκῳ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ φυλάσσειν. | And these and their sons were over the gates in the house of the Lord, and in the house of the tabernacle, to keep watch. |

| κατὰ τοὺς τέσσαρας ἀνέμους ἦσαν αἱ πύλαι, κατὰ ἀνατολάς, θάλασσαν, βορρᾶν, νότον. | The gates were toward the four winds, eastward, westward, northward, southward. |
|

|
| καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν τοῦ εἰσπορεύεσθαι κατὰ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀπὸ καιροῦ εἰς καιρὸν μετὰ τούτων. | And their brethren were in their courts, to enter in weekly from time to time with these. |

| ὅτι ἐν πίστει εἰσὶ τέσσαρες δυνατοὶ τῶν πυλῶν. καὶ οἱ Λευῖται ἦσαν ἐπὶ τῶν παστοφορίων, καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν θησαυρῶν οἴκου τοῦ Θεοῦ παρεμβάλλουσιν, | For four strong men have the charge of the gates; and the Levites were over the chambers, and they keep watch over the treasures of the house of God. |

| ὅτι ἐπ᾿ αὐτοὺς ἡ φυλακή, καὶ οὗτοι ἐπὶ τῶν κλειδῶν τὸ πρωΐ πρωΐ ἀνοίγειν τὰς θύρας τοῦ ἱεροῦ. | For the charge was upon them, and these were charged with the keys to open the doors of the temple every morning. |

| καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη τῆς λειτουργίας, ὅτι ἐν ἀριθμῷ εἰσοίσουσι καὶ ἐν ἀριθμῷ ἐξοίσουσι. | And some of them were appointed over the vessels of service, that they should carry them in by number, and carry them out by number. |

| καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν καθεσταμένοι ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς σεμιδάλεως, τοῦ οἴνου, τοῦ ἐλαίου, τοῦ λιβανωτοῦ καὶ τῶν ἀρωμάτων. | And some of them were appointed over the furniture, and over all the holy vessels, and over the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices. |

| καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν τῶν ἱερέων ἦσαν μυρεψοὶ τοῦ μύρου καὶ εἰς τὰ ἀρώματα. | And some of the priests were makers of the ointment, and appointed to prepare the spices. |

| καὶ Ματταθίας ἐκ τῶν Λευιτῶν (οὗτος ὁ πρωτότοκος τῷ Σαλὼμ τῷ Κορίτῃ) ἐν τῇ πίστει ἐπὶ τὰ ἔργα τῆς θυσίας τοῦ τηγάνου τοῦ μεγάλου ἱερέως. | And Matthathias of the Levites, (he was the first-born of Salom the Corite,) was set in charge over the sacrifices of meat-offering of the pan belonging to the high priest. |

| καὶ Βαναΐας ὁ Κααθίτης ἐκ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν ἄρτων τῆς προθέσεως τοῦ ἑτοιμάσαι σάββατον κατὰ σάββατον. | And Banaias the Caathite, from among their brethren, was set over the shewbread, to prepare it every sabbath. |

| καὶ οὗτοι ψαλτῳδοὶ ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῶν Λευιτῶν, διατεταγμέναι ἐφημερίαι, ὅτι ἡμέρα καὶ νὺξ ἐπ᾿ αὐτοῖς ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις. | And these were the singers, heads of families of the Levites, to whom were established daily courses, for they were employed in the services day and night. |

| οὗτοι ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῶν Λευιτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες· οὗτοι κατῴκησαν ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλήμ. | These were the heads of the families of the Levites according to their generations; these chiefs dwelt in Jerusalem. |

| καὶ ἐν Γαβαὼν κατῴκησε πατὴρ Γαβαὼν ᾿Ιεήλ, καὶ ὄνομα γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ Μααχά. | And Jeël the father of Gabaon dwelt in Gabaon; and his wife's name was Moöcha. |

| καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ὁ πρωτότοκος ᾿Αβαδὼν καὶ Σοὺρ καὶ Κὶς καὶ Βαὰλ καὶ Νὴρ καὶ Ναδὰβ | And his first-born son was Abdon, and he had Sur, and Kis, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab, |

| καὶ Γεδοὺρ καὶ ἀδελφὸς καὶ Ζακχοὺρ καὶ Μακελώθ. | and Gedur and his brother, and Zacchur, and Makeloth. |

| καὶ Μακελὼθ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαμαά. καὶ οὗτοι ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν κατῴκησαν ἐν ῾Ιερουσαλὴμ ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν. | And Makeloth begot Samaa: and these dwelt in the midst of their brethren in Jerusalem, even in the midst of their brethren. |

| καὶ Νὴρ ἐγέννησε τὸν Κίς, καὶ Κὶς ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαούλ, καὶ Σαοὺλ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ιωνάθαν καὶ τὸν Μελχισουὲ καὶ τὸν ᾿Αμιναδὰβ καὶ τὸν ᾿Ασαβάλ. | And Ner begot Kis, and Kis begot Saul, and Saul begot Jonathan, and Melchisue, and Aminadab, and Asabal. |

| καὶ υἱὸς ᾿Ιωνάθαν Μεριβαάλ· καὶ Μεριβαὰλ ἐγέννησε τὸν Μιχά. | And the son of Jonathan was Meribaal: and Meribaal begot Micha. |

| καὶ υἱοὶ Μιχά· Φιθὼν καὶ Μαλὰχ καὶ Θαράχ. | And the sons of Micha were Phithon and Malach, and Tharach. |

| καὶ ᾿Αχὰζ ἐγέννησε τὸν ᾿Ιαδά, καὶ ᾿Ιαδὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Γαλεμὲθ καὶ τὸν Γαζμὼθ καὶ τὸν Ζαμβρί, καὶ Ζαμβρὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν Μασά, | And Achaz begot Jada: and Jada begot Galemeth, and Gazmoth, and Zambri; and Zambri begot Massa. |

| καὶ Μασὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Βαανά, Ραφαΐα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, ᾿Ελασὰ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ, ᾿Εσὴλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ. | And Massa begot Baana, and Rhaphaïa was his son, Elasa his son, Esel his son. |

| καὶ τῷ ᾿Εσὴλ ἓξ υἱοί, καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν· ᾿Εζρικὰμ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ καὶ ᾿Ισμαὴλ καὶ Σαραΐα καὶ ᾿Αβδία καὶ ᾿Ανὰν καὶ ᾿Ασά. οὗτοι υἱοὶ ᾿Εσήλ. | And Esel had six sons, and these were their names; Esricam his first-born, and Ismael, and Saraia, and Abdia, and Anan, and Asa: these were the sons of Esel. |
