Е#гдA u5бо разумЁ ї}съ, ћкw ўслhшаша фарісeє, ћкw ї}съ мн0жайшыz ўчн7ки2 твори1тъ и3 кRщaетъ, нeже їwaннъ:
When therefore the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus was making and baptizing more disciples than John

2
(although Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples),
3
3
њстaви їудeю, и3 и4де пaки въ галілeю.
he left Judea, and departed into Galilee.
4
4
And he must needs pass through Samaria.
5
5
в7‹.) Пріи1де u5бо во грaдъ самарjйскій, глаг0лемый сіхaрь, бли1з8 вeси, ю4же дадE їaкwвъ їHсифу сhну своемY:
So he cometh to a city of Samaria, called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph:
6
6
Ї}съ же ўтрyждсz t пути2, сэдsше тaкw на и3ст0чницэ: бё (же) ћкw чaсъ шестhй.
and Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour.
7
7
Пріи1де женA t самарjи почерпaти в0ду.
There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8
8
Ўчн7цh бо є3гw2 tшли2 бsху во грaдъ, да брaшно кyпzтъ.
For his disciples were gone away into the city to buy food.
9
9
Глаг0ла є3мY женA самарzнhнz: кaкw ты2 жидови1нъ сhй t менє2 пи1ти пр0сиши, жены2 самарzнhни сyщіz, не прикасaютбосz жи1дове самарsнwмъ.
The Samaritan woman therefore saith unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, who am a Samaritan woman? (For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.)
10
10
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11
11
Глаг0ла є3мY женA: г0споди, ни почерпaла и3мaши, и3 студенeцъ є4сть глуб0къ: tкyду u5бо и3мaши в0ду жи1ву,
The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: whence then hast thou that living water?
12
12
є3дA ты2 б0ліи є3си2 nтцA нaшегw їaкwва, и4же дадE нaмъ студенeцъ сeй, и3 т0й и3з8 негw2 пи1тъ, и3 сhнове є3гw2, и3 ск0ти є3гw2;
Art thou greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his sons, and his cattle?
13
13
TвэщA ї}съ и3 речE є4й: всsкъ піsй t воды2 сеS вжaждетсz пaки:
Jesus answered and said unto her, Everyone that drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14
14
ґ и4же піeтъ t воды2, ю4же ѓзъ дaмъ є3мY, не вжaждетсz во вёки: но водA, ю4же (ѓзъ) дaмъ є3мY, бyдетъ въ нeмъ и3ст0чникъ воды2 текyщіz въ жив0тъ вёчный.
but whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall become in him a well of water springing up unto eternal life.
15
15
Глаг0ла къ немY женA: г0споди, дaждь ми2 сію2 в0ду, да ни жaжду, ни прихождY сёмw почерпaти.
The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
16
16
Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17
17
TвэщA женA и3 речE (є3мY): не и4мамъ мyжа.
The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus saith unto her, Thou saidst well, I have no husband:
18
18
for thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: this hast thou said truly.
19
19
The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.
20
20
nтцы2 нaши въ горЁ сeй поклони1шасz: и3 вы2 глаг0лете, ћкw во їеrли1мэхъ є4сть мёсто, и4дэже клaнzтисz подобaетъ.
Our fathers worshiped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.
21
21
Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, shall ye worship the Father.
22
22
вы2 клaнzетесz, є3гHже не вёсте: мы2 клaнzемсz, є3г0же вёмы, ћкw спcніе t їудє1и є4сть:
Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.
23
23
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth: for such doth the Father seek to be his worshipers.
24
24
д¦ъ (є4сть) бGъ: и3 и4же клaнzетсz є3мY, дyхомъ и3 и4стиною дост0итъ клaнzтисz.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
25
25
Глаг0ла є3мY женA: вёмъ, ћкw мессjа пріи1детъ, глаг0лемый хrт0съ: є3гдA т0й пріи1детъ, возвэсти1тъ нaмъ вс‰.
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh (he that is called Christ): when he is come, he will declare unto us all things.
26
26
Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he.
27
27
И# тогдA пріид0ша ўчн7цы2 є3гw2 и3 чудsхусz, ћкw съ жeною гlаше: nбaче никт0же речE: чесw2 и4щеши; и3ли2: что2 гlеши съ нeю;
And upon this came his disciples; and they marveled that he was speaking with a woman; yet no man said, What seekest thou? or, Why speakest thou with her?
28
28
So the woman left her waterpot, and went away into the city, and saith to the people,
29
29
пріиди1те (и3) ви1дите чlвёка, и4же речe ми вс‰, є3ли6ка сотвори1хъ: є3дA т0й є4сть хrт0съ;
Come, see a man, who told me all things that ever I did: can this be the Christ?
30
30
They went out of the city, and were coming to him.
31
31
And in the meanwhile the disciples prayed him, saying, Rabbi, eat.
32
32
But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not.
33
33
Глаг0лаху u5бо ўчн7цы2 къ себЁ: є3дA кто2 принесE є3мY ћсти;
The disciples therefore said one to another, Hath any man brought him aught to eat?
34
34
Гlа и4мъ ї}съ: моE брaшно є4сть, да сотворю2 в0лю послaвшагw мS и3 совершY дёло є3гw2.
Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to accomplish his work.
35
35
Не вh ли глаг0лете, ћкw є3щE четhри мёсzцы сyть, и3 жaтва пріи1детъ; СE гlю вaмъ: возведи1те џчи вaши, и3 ви1дите ни1вы, ћкw плaвы сyть къ жaтвэ ўжE:
Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh the harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields, that they are white already unto harvest.
36
36
And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal; that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
37
37
For herein is verified the true saying, One soweth, and another reapeth.
38
38
I sent you to reap that whereon ye have not labored: others have labored, and ye are entered into their labor.
39
39
And from that city many of the Samaritans believed on him because of the word of the woman, who testified, He told me all things that ever I did.
40
40
So when the Samaritans came unto him, they besought him to abide with them: and he abode there two days.
41
41
And many more believed because of his word;
42
42
and they said to the woman, Now we believe, not because of thy speaking: for we have heard for ourselves, and know that this is indeed the Savior of the world, the Christ.
43
43
And after the two days he went forth from thence, and went away into Galilee.
44
44
For Jesus himself testified, that a prophet hath no honor in his own country.
45
45
So when he came into Galilee, the Galileans received him, having seen all the things that he did in Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went unto the feast.
46
46
Jesus came therefore again unto Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick at Capernaum.
47
47
When he heard that Jesus was come out of Judea into Galilee, he went unto him, and besought him that he would come down, and heal his son; for he was at the point of death.
48
48
Jesus therefore said unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will in no wise believe.
49
49
Глаг0ла къ немY царeвъ мyжъ: гDи, сни1ди, прeжде дaже не ќмретъ nтрочA моE.
The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.
50
50
Jesus saith unto him, Go thy way; thy son liveth. And the man believed the word that Jesus spake unto him, and he went his way.
51
51
And as he was now going down, his servants met him, and told him, saying, Thy son liveth.
52
52
Вопрошaше u5бо t ни1хъ њ чaсэ, въ кот0рый легчaе є3мY бhсть, и3 рёша є3мY, ћкw вчерA въ чaсъ седмhй њстaви є3го2 џгнь.
So he inquired of them the hour when he began to amend. And they said unto him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him.
53
53
So the father knew that it was at that hour in which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house.
54
54
This is again the second sign that Jesus did, having come out of Judea into Galilee.
