Chapter 7
1
1
к7е7.) | And after these things Jesus walked in Galilee: for he would not walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him. |
2
2
| Now the feast of the Jews, the feast of tabernacles, was at hand. |
3
3
| Рёша u5бо къ немY брaтіz є3гw2: прейди2 tсю1ду, и3 и3ди2 во їудeю, да и3 ўчн7цы2 твои2 ви1дzтъ дэлA тво‰, ±же твори1ши: | His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judea, that thy disciples also may behold thy works which thou doest. |
4
4
| For no man doeth anything in secret, and himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou doest these things, manifest thyself to the world. |
5
5
2. | For even his brethren did not believe on him. |
6
6
| Гlа u5бо и5мъ ї}съ: врeмz моE не u5 пріи1де: врeмz же вaше всегдA гот0во є4сть: | Jesus therefore saith unto them, My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready. |
7
7
| не м0жетъ мjръ ненави1дэти вaсъ: менe же ненави1дитъ, ћкw ѓзъ свидётелствую њ нeмъ, ћкw дэлA є3гw2 ѕл† сyть: | The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that its works are evil. |
8
8
| Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; because my time is not yet fulfilled. |
9
9
| And having said these things unto them, he abode still in Galilee. |
10
10
| Е#гдa же взыд0ша брaтіz є3гw2 въ прaздникъ, тогдA и3 сaмъ взhде, не ћвэ, но ћкw тaй. | But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not publicly, but as it were in secret. |
11
11
| Жи1дове же и3скaху є3го2 въ прaздникъ, и3 глаг0лаху: гдЁ є4сть џнъ; | The Jews therefore sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? |
12
12
| And there was much murmuring among the multitudes concerning him: some said, He is a good man: others said, Not so, but he leadeth the multitude astray. |
13
13
| Yet no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews. |
14
14
к7ѕ7.) | But when it was now the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught. |
15
15
| И# дивлsхусz їудeє, глаг0люще: кaкw сeй кни6ги вёсть не ўчи1всz; | And the Jews marveled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned? |
16
16
| TвэщA (u5бо) и5мъ ї}съ и3 речE: моE ў§ніе нёсть моE, но послaвшагw мS: | Jesus therefore answered them, and said, My teaching is not mine, but his that sent me. |
17
17
| ѓще кто2 х0щетъ в0лю є3гw2 тв0рити, разумёетъ њ ў§ніи, к0е t бGа є4сть, и3ли2 ѓзъ t себє2 гlю: | If any man willeth to do his will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from myself. |
18
18
| глаг0лzй t себє2, слaвы своеS и4щетъ: ґ и3щsй слaвы послaвшагw є3го2, сeй и4стиненъ є4сть, и3 нёсть непрaвды въ нeмъ. | He that speaketh from himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh the glory of him that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. |
19
19
Что2 менE и4щете ўби1ти; | Hath not Moses given you the law, and yet none of you doeth the law? Why seek ye to kill me? |
20
20
| TвэщA нар0дъ и3 речE: бёса ли и4маши; кто2 тебE и4щетъ ўби1ти; | The multitude answered and said, Thou hast a demon: who seeketh to kill thee? |
21
21
| TвэщA ї}съ и3 речE и5мъ: є3ди1но дёло сотвори1хъ, и3 вси2 дивитeсz: | Jesus answered and said unto them, I did one work, and ye all marvel. |
22
22
| сегw2 рaди мwmсeй дадE вaмъ њбрёзаніе, не ћкw t мwmсeа є4сть, но t nтє1цъ: и3 въ суббHту њбрёзаете человёка: | For this cause Moses hath given you circumcision (not that it is of Moses, but of the fathers); and on the sabbath ye circumcise a man. |
23
23
| ѓще њбрёзаніе пріeмлетъ человёкъ въ суббHту, да не разори1тсz зак0нъ мwmсeовъ: на мs ли гнёваетесz, ћкw всего2 человёка здрaва сотвори1хъ въ суббHту; | If a man receiveth circumcision on the sabbath, that the law of Moses may not be broken; are ye wroth with me, because I made a man every whit whole on the sabbath? |
24
24
| Judge not according to appearance, but judge righteous judgment. |
25
25
| Глаг0лаху u5бо нёцыи t їеrли1млzнъ: не сeй ли є4сть, є3г0же и4щутъ ўби1ти; | Some therefore of them of Jerusalem said, Is not this he whom they seek to kill? |
26
26
| и3 сE, не њбинyzсz гlетъ, и3 ничесHже є3мY не глаг0лютъ: є3дA кaкw [вои1стинну] разумёша кн‰зи, ћкw сeй є4сть хrт0съ; | And lo, he speaketh openly, and they say nothing unto him. Can it be that the rulers indeed know that this is indeed the Christ? |
27
27
| Howbeit we know this man whence he is: but when the Christ cometh, no one knoweth whence he is. |
28
28
| ВоззвA u5бо въ цeркви ўчS ї}съ и3 гlz: и3 менE вёсте, и3 вёсте, tкyду є4смь: и3 њ себЁ не пріид0хъ, но є4сть и4стиненъ послaвый мS, є3гHже вы2 не вёсте: | Jesus therefore cried in the temple, teaching and saying, Ye both know me, and know whence I am; and I am not come of myself, but he that sent me is true, whom ye know not. |
29
29
A. | I know him; because I am from him, and he sent me. |
30
30
| They sought therefore to take him: and no man laid his hand on him, because his hour was not yet come. |
31
31
| Мн0зи же t нар0да вёроваша въ него2, и3 глаг0лаху, ћкw хrт0съ, є3гдA пріи1детъ, є3дA бHлша знaмєніz сотвори1тъ, ±же сeй твори1тъ; | But many of the multitude believed on him; and they said, When the Christ shall come, will he do more signs than these which this man hath done? |
32
32
2. | The Pharisees heard the multitude murmuring these things concerning him; and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take him. |
33
33
| РечE u5бо ї}съ: є3щE мaло врeмz съ вaми є4смь, и3 и3дY къ послaвшему мS: | Jesus therefore said, Yet a little while am I with you, and I go unto him that sent me. |
34
34
2. | Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, ye cannot come. |
35
35
| Рёша же їудeє къ себЁ: кaмw сeй х0щетъ и3ти2, ћкw мы2 не њбрsщемъ є3гw2; є3дA въ разсёzніе є4ллинское х0щетъ и3ти2 и3 ўчи1ти є4ллины; | The Jews therefore said among themselves, Whither will this man go that we shall not find him? will he go unto the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks? |
36
36
2; | What is this word that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me; and where I am, ye cannot come? |
37
37
к7з7.) Въ послёдній же дeнь вели1кій прaздника стоsше ї}съ, и3 звaше, гlz: ѓще кто2 жaждетъ, да пріи1детъ ко мнЁ и3 піeтъ: | Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink. |
38
38
| He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water. |
39
39
| But this spake he of the Spirit, whom they that believe on him were to receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because Jesus was not yet glorified. |
40
40
| Many of the multitude therefore, when they heard this word, said, This is of a truth the prophet. |
41
41
Џвіи же глаг0лаху: є3дA t галілeи хrт0съ прих0дитъ; | Others said, This is the Christ. Others said, What, doth the Christ come out of Galilee? |
42
42
| не писaніе ли речE, ћкw t сёмене дв7дова и3 t виfлеeмскіz вeси, и3дёже бЁ дв7дъ, хrт0съ пріи1детъ; | Hath not the scripture said that the Christ cometh of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the village where David was? |
43
43
| Рaспрz u5бо бhсть въ нар0дэ є3гw2 рaди. | So there arose a division in the multitude because of him. |
44
44
| And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him. |
45
45
| Пріид0ша же слуги6 ко ґрхіерewмъ и3 фарісewмъ: и3 рёша и5мъ тjи: почто2 не привед0сте є3гw2; | The officers therefore came to the chief priests and Pharisees; and they said unto them, Why did ye not bring him? |
46
46
| Tвэщaша слуги6: николи1же тaкw є4сть глаг0лалъ человёкъ, ћкw сeй чlвёкъ. | The officers answered, Never did man so speak, as this man speaketh. |
47
47
| Tвэщaша u5бо и5мъ фарісeє: є3дA и3 вы2 прельщeни бhсте; | The Pharisees therefore answered them, Are ye also led astray? |
48
48
| є3дA кто2 t кн‰зь вёрова въ џнь, и3ли2 t фарісє1й; | Hath any of the rulers believed on him, or of the Pharisees? |
49
49
| But this multitude that knoweth not the law are accursed. |
50
50
| Глаг0ла нікоди1мъ къ ни6мъ, и4же пришeдый къ немY н0щію, є3ди1нъ сhй t ни1хъ: | Nicodemus saith unto them (he that came to him by night, being one of them), |
51
51
| є3дA зак0нъ нaшъ сyдитъ человёку, ѓще не слhшитъ t негw2 прeжде и3 разумёетъ, что2 твори1тъ; | Doth our law judge a man, except it first hear from him and know what he doeth? |
52
52
| Tвэщaша и3 рек0ша є3мY: є3дA и3 ты2 t галілeи є3си2; и3спытaй и3 ви1ждь, ћкw прbр0къ t галілeи не прих0дитъ. | They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and see that out of Galilee no prophet hath arisen. |
53
53
| And every man went unto his own house: |
