| And it came to pass at the return of the year, at the time of the going forth of kings to war, that Joab gathered the whole force of the army, and they ravaged the land of the children of Ammon; and he came and besieged Rabba. But David abode in Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabba and destroyed it. | И# бhсть въ находsщее лёто во врeмz и3схождeніz царeй (ко брaни), и3 собрA їwaвъ всю2 си1лу в0инства, и3 њпустоши2 зeмлю сынHвъ ґммHнихъ: пріид0ша же и3 њбсэд0ша раввafъ. Давjдъ же пребывaше во їеrли1мэ: їwaвъ же порази2 раввafъ и3 разори2 є3го2. |

| And he brought out the people that were in it, and sawed them asunder with saws, and cut them with iron axes, and with harrows: and thus David did to all the children of Ammon. And David and all his people returned to Jerusalem. | и3 людjй сyщихъ въ нeмъ и3зведE и3 претрE пилaми и3 nр{діи желёзными и3 разсэцaющими: тaкw сотвори2 давjдъ всBмъ градHмъ сынHвъ ґммHнихъ, и3 возврати1сz давjдъ и3 вси2 лю1діе є3гw2 во їеrли1мъ. |

| And it came to pass afterward that there was again war with the Philistines in Gazer: then Sobochai the Sosathite smote Saphut of the sons of the giants, and laid him low. | И# бhсть по сeмъ, и3 начaсz є3щE брaнь въ газeрэ со и3ноплемє1нники: тогдA порази2 совохaй ўсаfjтzнинъ сафyта t сынHвъ и3споли1новыхъ и3 смири2 є3го2. |
