| The word which came to Esaias the son of Amos concerning Judea, and concerning Jerusalem. | Слово, яке було у видінні до Ісаї, сина Амосового, про Юдею та Єрусалим. |

| For in the last days the mountain of the Lord shall be glorious, and the house of God shall be on the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall come to it. | І буде в останні дні, гора дому Господнього буде поставлена у главу гір і підніметься над пагорбами, і потечуть до неї усі народи. |

| And many nations shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will tell us his way, and we will walk in it: for out of Sion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord out of Jerusalem. | І підуть багато народів і скажуть: прийдіть, і зійдемо на гору Господню, у дім Бога Якова, і навчить Він нас Своїх шляхів і будемо ходити стежками Його; бо від Сиону вийде закон, і слово Господнє — з Єрусалима. |

| And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plough-shares, and their spears into sickles: and nation shall not take up sword against nation, neither shall they learn to war any more. | І буде Він судити народи, і викриє багато племен; і перекують мечі свої на орала, і списи свої — на серпи: не підніме народ на народ меча, і не будуть більше вчитися воювати. |

| And now, O house of Jacob, come, and let us walk in the light of the Lord. | О, доме Якова! Прийдіть, і будемо ходити у світлі Господньому. |

| For he has forsaken his people the house of Israel, because their land is filled as at the beginning with divinations, as the land of the Philistines, and many strange children were born to them. | Але Ти відкинув народ Твій, дім Якова, тому що вони багато чого перейняли від сходу: і чаклуни у них, як у филистимлян, і з синами чужих вони у спілкуванні. |

| For their land is filled with silver and gold, and there was no number of their treasures; their land also is filled with horses, and there was no number of their chariots. | І наповнилася земля його сріблом і золотом, і немає числа скарбам його; і наповнилася земля його конями, і немає числа колісницям його; |

| And the land is filled with abominations, even the works of their hands; and they have worshipped the works which their fingers made. | і наповнилася земля його ідолами: вони поклоняються ділу рук своїх, тому, що зробили персти їх. |

| And the mean man bowed down, and the great man was humbled: and I will not pardon them. | І схилилася людина, і принизився муж, — і Ти не простиш їх. |

| Now therefore enter ye into the rocks, and hide yourselves in the earth, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of his might, when he shall arise to strike terribly the earth. | Іди у скелю і сховайся у землю від страху Господа і від слави величі Його. |

| For the eyes of the Lord are high, but man is low; and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. | Поникнуть горді погляди людини, і високе людське принизиться; і один Господь буде високий у той день. |
|

| For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and haughty, and upon every one that is high and towering, and they shall be brought down; | Бо гряде день Господа Саваофа на все горде й зарозуміле і на все звеличене, — і воно буде принижене, — |

| and upon every cedar of Libanus, of them that are high and towering, and upon every oak of Basan, | і на всі кедри ливанські, високі і піднесені, і на всі дуби васанські, |

| and upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, | і на всі високі гори, і на всі підвищені пагорби, |

|
| and upon every high tower, and upon every high wall, | і на усяку високу вежу, і на всяку міцну стіну, |
|

|
| and upon every ship of the sea, and upon every display of fine ships. | і на всі кораблі фарсиські, і на всі жадані прикраси їх. |

| And every man shall be brought low, and the pride of men shall fall: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. | І впаде велич людська, і високе людське принизиться; і один Господь буде високий у той день, |

|
| And they shall hide all idols made with hands, | й ідоли зовсім зникнуть. |

|
| having carried them into the caves, and into the clefts of the rocks, and into the caverns of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of his might, when he shall arise to strike terribly the earth. | І ввійдуть люди в ущелини скель і у прірви землі від страху Господа і від слави величі Його, коли Він повстане скрушити землю. |

| For in that day a man shall cast forth his silver and gold abominations, which they made in order to worship vanities and bats; | У той день людина кине кротам і кажанам срібних своїх ідолів і золотих своїх ідолів, яких зробила собі для поклоніння їм, |
|

| to enter into the caverns of the solid rock, and into the clefts of the rocks, for fear of the Lord, and by reason of the glory of his might, when he shall arise to strike terribly the earth. | щоб увійти в ущелини скель і у розпадини гір від страху Господа і від слави величі Його, коли Він повстане скрушити землю. |
