| Be enlightened, be enlightened, O Jerusalem, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. | Восстань, світися, [Єрусалиме], бо прийшло світло твоє, і слава Господня зійшла над тобою. |

| Behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and there shall be gross darkness on the nations: but the Lord shall appear upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. | Бо ось, темрява покриє землю, і морок — народи; а над тобою засяє Господь, і слава Його явиться над тобою. |

| And kings shall walk in thy light, and nations in thy brightness. | І прийдуть народи до світла твого, і царі — до сяйва, яке сходить над тобою. |

| Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold thy children gathered: all thy sons have come from far, and thy daughters shall be borne on men's shoulders. | Зведи очі твої і подивися навколо: усі вони збираються, йдуть до тебе; сини твої здалеку йдуть і дочок твоїх на руках несуть. |

| Then shalt thou see, and fear, and be amazed in thine heart; for the wealth of the sea shall come round to thee, and of nations and peoples; and herds of camels shall come to thee, | Тоді побачиш, і зрадієш, і затремтить і розшириться серце твоє, тому що багатство моря повернеться до тебе, надбання народів прийде до тебе. |

| and the camels of Madiam and Gæpha shall cover thee: all from Saba shall come bearing gold, and shall bring frankincense, and they shall publish the salvation of the Lord. | Безліч верблюдів покриє тебе — дромадери з Мадіама й Ефи; усі вони із Сави прийдуть, принесуть золото і ладан і звістять славу Господа. |

| And all the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered, and the rams of Nabæoth shall come; and acceptable sacrifices shall be offered on my altar, and my house of prayer shall be glorified. | Усі вівці кидарські будуть зібрані до тебе; барани неваїофські послужать тобі: зійдуть на вівтар Мій жертвою благоугодною, і Я прославлю дім слави Моєї. |

| Who are these that fly as clouds, and as doves with young ones to me? | Хто це летить, як хмари, і як голуби, — до голубників своїх? |

| The isles have waited for me, and the ships of Tharsis among the first, to bring thy children from afar, and their silver and their gold with them, and that for the sake of the holy name of the Lord, and because the Holy One of Israel is glorified. | Так, на Мене чекають острови, і попереду них — кораблі фарсиські, щоб перевезти синів твоїх здалеку і з ними срібло їх і золото їх, в ім’я Господа Бога твого і Святого Ізраїлевого, бо Він прославив тебе. |

| And strangers shall build thy walls, and their kings shall wait upon thee: for by reason of my wrath I smote thee, and by reason of mercy I loved thee. | Тоді сини іноземців будуть будувати стіни твої, і царі їхні — служити тобі; бо у гніві Моєму Я вражав тебе, але у благоволінні Моєму буду милостивим до тебе. |

| And thy gates shall be opened continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; to bring in to thee the power of the Gentiles, and their kings as captives. | І будуть завжди відкриті врата твої, не будуть зачинятися ні вдень ні вночі, щоб принесено було до тебе надбання народів і приведені були царі їх. |

| For the nations and the kings which will not serve thee shall perish; and those nations shall be made utterly desolate. | Бо народ і царства, які не захочуть служити тобі, — загинуть, і такі народи зовсім знищаться. |

| And the glory of Libanus shall come to thee, with the cypress, and pine, and cedar together, to glorify my holy place. | Слава Ливану прийде до тебе, кипарис і певг і разом кедр, щоб прикрасити місце святилища Мого, і Я прославлю підніжжя ніг Моїх. |

| And the sons of them that afflicted thee, and of them that provoked thee, shall come to thee in fear; and thou shalt be called Sion, the city of the Holy One of Israel. | І прийдуть до тебе з покірністю сини гнобителів твоїх, і впадуть до стоп ніг твоїх усі, що зневажали тебе, і назвуть тебе містом Господа, Сионом Святого Ізраїлевого. |

| Because thou hast become desolate and hated, and there was no helper, therefore I will make thee a perpetual gladness, a joy of many generations. | Замість того, що ти був залишений і ненавидимий, так що ніхто не проходив через тебе, Я зроблю тебе величчю навіки, радістю у роди родів. |

| And thou shalt suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt eat the wealth of kings: and shalt know that I am the Lord that saves thee and delivers thee, the Holy One of Israel. | Ти будеш насичуватися молоком народів, і груди царські ссати будеш, і пізнаєш, що Я Господь — Спаситель твій і Відкупитель твій, Сильний Яковів. |

| And for brass I will bring thee gold, and for iron I will bring thee silver, and instead of wood I will bring thee brass, and instead of stones, iron; and I will make thy princes peaceable, and thine overseers righteous. | Замість міді буду доставляти тобі золото, і замість заліза срібло, і замість дерева мідь, і замість каменів залізо; і поставлю правителем твоїм мир і наглядачами твоїми — правду. |

| And injustice shall no more be heard in thy land, nor destruction nor misery in thy coasts; but thy walls shall be called Salvation, and thy gates Sculptured Work. | Не чутно буде більше насильства в землі твоїй, спустошення і руйнування — у краях твоїх; і будеш називати стіни твої спасінням і ворота твої — славою. |

| And thou shalt no more have the sun for a light by day, nor shall the rising of the moon lighten thy night; but the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and God thy glory. | Не буде уже сонце служити тобі світлом денним, і сяйво місяця — світити тобі; але Господь буде тобі вічним світлом, і Бог твій — славою твоєю. |

| For the sun shall no more set, nor shall the moon be eclipsed; for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be completed. | Не зайде уже сонце твоє, і місяць твій не сховається, бо Господь буде для тебе вічним світлом, і закінчаться дні сумування твого. |

| Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, preserving that which they have planted, even the works of their hands, for glory. | І народ твій весь буде праведний, навіки успадкує землю, — паросток насадження Мого, справу рук Моїх, для прославляння Мого. |

| The little one shall become thousands, and the least a great nation; I the Lord will gather them in due time. | Від малого вийде тисяча, і від найслабшого — сильний народ. Я, Господь, прискорю звершити це у свій час. |
