And it came to pass in the reign of Amarphal king of Sennaar, and Arioch king of Ellasar, that Chodollogomor king of Elam, and Thargal king of nations,

made war with Balla king of Sodom, and with Barsa king of Gomorrha, and with Sennaar, king of Adama, and with Symobor king of Seboim and the king of Balac, this is Segor.

И$ сътвориша ра'ть, съ вала'комъ цр~емъ содо'мъскимъ, и^ съ вар#са'вою цр~емъ гомо'рскїмъ, и^ съ сеннаа'ромъ цр~емъ а^дама'ньскимъ, и^ симово'ромъ цр~ем# севои%м#скимъ” И$ цр~емъ вала'комъ се'и е%сть сиго'ръ,

All these met with one consent at the salt valley; this is now the sea of salt.

и^ вс^и совњща'шася на де'брь лљ=кїю, с^е е^сть море солиuное в~і лTњ, рабо'таша ходологомо'рю” тре'тїа^го

Twelve years they served Chodollogomor, and the thirteenth year they revolted.

And in the fourteenth year came Chodollogomor, and the kings with him, and cut to pieces the giants in Astaroth, and Carnain, and strong nations with them, and the Ommæans in the city Save.

И$ въ д~і лњто, прїиде ходологомо'ръ, и^ цр~и и^же с ниM и^ съсњко'ша гига'нты і^ е'же въ настаро'џњ и^ въ канаи'ме, и^ ја%зы'цы крњ'пки въкђ'пњ с ни'ми. и^ съмњя' и^же въ са'вњ гра'дњ

And the Chorrhæans in the mountains of Seir, to the turpentine tree of Pharan, which is in the desert.

и^ хор#ре'я и^же въ гораX сљ=и'ръскиX. дотереми'нџа фараѓ'ня, и^же е^сть въ пђсты'ни”

And having turned back they came to the well of judgment; this is Cades, and they cut in pieces all the princes of Amalec, and the Amorites dwelling in Asasonthamar.

І$ ѓ^брати'вшеся прїидо'ша къ и^сто'чникђ сђ'дномђ. е^же е^сть кади'съ, и^ съсњко'ша кн~ѕя а^мали'чески, і^ а^мор#ре'я живђщая въ а^саn џама'рњ,

And the king of Sodom went out, and the king of Gomorrha, and king of Adama, and king of Seboim, and king of Balac, this is Segor, and they set themselves in array against them for war in the salt valley,

Now the salt valley consists of slime-pits. And the king of Sodom fled and the king of Gomorrha, and they fell in there: and they that were left fled to the mountain country.

ю`. доли'на же алљ=кїя, и^мя'ше кла'дези вњ'верны” И$ побњже цр~ь содо'мъскїи, и^ цр~ь гомо'рскїи и^ въпадо'ша в ня`, ѓ^ста'вльшїи же бњжа'ша въ горђ і^ ѓ^держа'ша ю&”

And they took all the cavalry of Sodom and Gomorrha, and all their provisions, and departed.
|
И$ поя'ша вс^я коня` содо'м#скїи и^ гомо'рскїи, и^ вс^е ѓ^рђжїе и^хъ и^ эTи^до'ша”

And they took also Lot the son of Abram's brother, and his baggage, and departed, for he dwelt in Sodom.
|
Поя'ша же и^ ло'та сн~а брата а^вра'мова, і^ и^мњнїе е^го и^ эTи^до'ша” Бњ б^о въ содо'мњх# живыи,
|

And one of them that had been rescued came and told Abram the Hebrew; and he dwelt by the oak of Mamre the Amorite the brother of Eschol, and the brother of Aunan, who were confederates with Abram.
|
пришеD же е^ді'нъ эT и^сцелњвшиX повњда а^вра'мђ прише'лцђ” А$враM же жи'тъ ё^ дђба мам#врїя” А$море'и же бра'та е^схо'ля, и^ бра'та е^ё^на'ня, и^же бњша ро'тницы а^вра'мовы”

And Abram having heard that Lot his nephew had been taken captive, numbered his own home-born servants three hundred and eighteen, and pursued after them to Dan.

ё^слы'шаv же а^вра'мъ, ја%ко плњни'ша ло'та снв~ца е^го, и^ събра` вс^я домочаDца, т~ и^ и~і. и^ гна'ша въ слњдъ и^х# до до'на,

And he came upon them by night, he and his servants, and he smote them and pursued them as far as Choba, which is on the left of Damascus.

и^ нападе` на' ня но'щїю, саM и^ ѓ%троцы е^го с нимъ. и^ порази` и^хъ и^ гони` и%хъ до сова'ла, ја^же е^сть ѓ^шђюю` дама'ска”

And he recovered all the cavalry of Sodom, and he recovered Lot his nephew, and all his possessions, and the women and the people.
|
И$ възврати` вс^я и^ кони` содо'мъска и^ ло'та сн~а бра'та своегэ` возъвра'ти`, и^ вся` и^мњнїа е^го и^ жены` и^ лю'ди”

And the king of Sodom went out to meet him, after he returned from the slaughter of Chodollogomor, and the kings with him, to the valley of Saby; this was the plain of the kings.
|
И$зы'де же цр~ь содо'м#скїи въ стрњте'нїе е^мђ, е^гда` въз#врати'ся эT сњ'чя ходологомо'ра и^ цр~еи сђщиX с ниM въ ё^до'ле са'винњ, сїе бя'ше поле цр~во”

And Melchisedec king of Salem brought forth loaves and wine, and he was the priest of the most high God.
|
И$ мелхиседе'къ цр~ь сали'меск#, и^знесе` хлbњ и^ вино`, бя'ше же сщ~е'нниk б~а вы'шнего.
|

|
And he blessed Abram, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, who made heaven and earth,
|
и^ блsви а^вра'ма и^ рече, блsвен# а^вра'мъ б~ђ вы'шнемђ, и^же създа` нб~о и^ зе'млю,
|
|

|
|
and blessed be the most high God who delivered thine enemies into thy power. And Abram gave him the tithe of all.
|
и^ блsвенъ б~ъ вы'шнїи, и^же преда` враги` твоя в рђцњ твои`, и^ да'сть е^мђ десяти'нђ а^враM эT всего`”
|

|
And the king of Sodom said to Abram, Give me the men, and take the horses to thyself.
|
Рече же цр~ь содо'мескъ къ а^вра'мђ. дажDь м^и мђжа, а^ коня` възми` себњ`.
|
|

|
And Abram said to the king of Sodom, I will stretch out my hand to the Lord the most high God, who made the heaven and the earth,
|
рече же а^враM къ цр~ю содоMскђ, въздви'гнђ рђкђ мою къ г~ђ б~ђ вы'шнемђ, и^же сътвори` нб~о и^ землю,
|

|
that I will not take from all thy goods from a string to a shoe-latchet, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich.
|
а^ще эT ве'рви до възвђ'зы сапо'жныя, възмђ` эT всеh твое^го, да не рече'ши ѓ^богатиX а^вра'ма,
|

|
Except what things the young men have eaten, and the portion of the men that went with me, Eschol, Aunan, Mambre, these shall take a portion.
|
ра'звњ и^же сђть и^зъя'ли ѓ%троцы, и^ ча'сть мђжїи, и^же сђть ходи'ли со мно'ю, е^схо'лъ і^ её^на'нъ маMвре, сїи да во'змђтъ ча'сти своя`”
