And Jacob lifted up his eyes, and beheld, and lo! Esau his brother coming, and four hundred men with him; and Jacob divided the children to Lea and to Rachel, and the two handmaidens.
|
И$ възрњвъ і^а'ковъ, ви'дњ и^ с^е і^са'въ братъ е^го и^ды'и и^ у~, мђжъ съ нимъ” И$ разлђчи` і^а'ковъ дњти, ли'и и^ рахи'ль и^ дв^ђ рабы'нь,

|
And he put the two handmaidens and their children with the first, and Lea and her children behind, and Rachel and Joseph last.
|
и^ поста'ви ѓ^б^њ рабы'ни и^ сн~ы ею` въ пр'ъвыя`” Лию' же и^ дњти ея` пони'же, рахи'ль же і^ и^ѓ'сифа съзади`.
|

|
But he advanced himself before them, and did reverence to the ground seven times, until he drew near to his brother.
|
сам же и^зыде пр'ъвње преD ни'ми и^ поклони'ся до земля` седмижды, до'ндеже приближи'ся къ бра'тђ свое^мђ”
|

|
And Esau ran on to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck, and kissed him; and they both wept.
|
И$ прїиде і^са'въ въскорњ проти'вђ е^мђ, и^ ѓ^бъи^мъ цњлова' и, и^ припаде` къ вы'и е^го. и^ пла'кастася ѓ%ба”

|
And Esau looked up and saw the women and the children, and said, What are these to thee? And he said, The children with which God has mercifully blessed thy servant.
|
Възрњв# же ви'дњ жены` и^ дњти, и^ рече чт^о с^и сђть. се'й же рече дњти и%миже поми'лова б~ъ раба` твое^го”

|
And the maid-servants and their children drew near and did reverence.
|
И$ пристђпи'ста же рабы'ни и^ дњти ея`, и^ поколони'шася.
|
|

|
And Lea and her children drew near and did reverence; and after this drew near Rachel and Joseph, and did reverence.
|
пристђпи y лїя` и^ дњти ея`, и^ поклони'шася. посе'м же пристђпи` рахи'ль і^ и^ѓ'сифъ, и^ поклони'стася”
|

|
And he said, What are these things to thee, all these companies that I have met? And he said, That thy servant might find grace in thy sight, my lord.
|
И рече чт^о с^е сђт'ь по'лцы с^и вс^и ја%же срњтоX, се'й же реq да ѓ^бря'щеT рабъ твои блгDть преD тобо'ю гдsне”

|
And Esau said, I have much, my brother; keep thine own.
|
Рече же е^мђ і^са'въ довлњ'ет# ми брате. ты же твое` собњ съдержи`”
|

|
And Jacob said, If I have found grace in thy sight, receive the gifts through my hands; therefore have I seen thy face, as if any one should see the face of God, and thou shalt be well-pleased with me.
|
И$ рече і^а'ковъ, а^ще ѓ^брњто'хъ бл~годать преD тобо'ю, прїими` даръ эT рђкђ мое'ю, сего` ради ви'дXњ лице твое, ја%коже ви'дитъ кт^о лице` бж~їе, покажи м^и любо'въ. и^

|
Receive my blessings, which I have brought thee, because God has had mercy on me, and I have all things; and he constrained him, and he took them.
|
прїи'ми блsве'нїе мое` е^же принесо'хъ т^и, ја^коже поми'лова мя б~ъ, и%мамъ вс^е. и^ принђди` е^го и^ взя`”

|
And he said, Let us depart, and proceed right onward.
|
И$ рече въста'вше по'идемъ попростђ.
|
|

|
And he said to him, My lord knows, that the children are very tender, and the flocks and the herds with me are with young; if then I shall drive them hard one day, all the cattle will die.
|
и^ рече і^а'ковъ господи'не вњ'си, ја%ко дњти мои` ю%ны, ѓ^вца же и^ говя'да и^стомлены`, а%ще ё^бо поженђ я' е^ді'нъ дн~ь, и^ли дв^а и^змреть весь ско'тъ”

|
Let my lord go on before his servant, and I shall have strength on the road according to the ease of the journey before me, and according to the strength of the children, until I come to my lord to Seir.
|
Преди т^ы пои^ди гдsне мой преD рабомъ свои^мъ, а^зъ ё^бо крњпњю на пђти`, по поможе'нїю го'да мое^го и^же прњдо мно'ю. и^ ја%ко да возмо'гђт# и^ти дњти мои`, до'ндеже прїидђ къ гдsнђ мое^мђ въ сїи'ръ”

|
And Esau said, I will leave with thee some of the people who are with me. And he said, Why so? it is enough that I have found favour before thee, my lord.
|
И$ рече і^са'въ ѓ^ста`влю л^и эT мQђ с тобо'ю и^же съ мно'ю сђть. се'й же реq въскђю с^е довлње`тъ ми ја^ко ѓ^брњтоX блгDть предъ тобо'ю гдsне”

And Esau returned on that day on his journey to Seir.
|
Възврати' же ся і^са'въ в то'мъ дн~и свои^мъ пђтемъ в сїи'ръ,

|
And Jacob departs to his tents; and he made for himself there habitations, and for his cattle he made booths; therefore he called the name of that place, Booths.
|
і^а'ковъ же прїи'де въ сохо'тъ, и^ поста'ви себњ хра'минђ и^ разби` кђщђ скотђ`, и^ нарече и%мя мњстђ томђ сохо'тъ, с^ирњчъ станы`”

|
And Jacob came to Salem, a city of Secima, which is in the land of Chanaan, when he departed out of Mesopotamia of Syria, and took up a position in front of the city.
|
Прїиде же і^а'ковъ въ сали'мъ граD сикемъскъ и^же е^сть въ земли` ханаа'ньстњи, е^гда` прїиде эT междорњ'чїя сљ=рьска, и^ ста преD лицемъ, града
|

|
And he bought the portion of the field, where he pitched his tent, of Emmor the father of Sychem, for a hundred lambs.
|
и^ кђпи` часть села`, въ не'мже постави храM сво'и т^ђ эT е^м#мо'ра эTц~а сљ=хемля стомъ ѓ^венъ.

|
And he set up there an altar, and called on the God of Israel.
|
и^ поста'ви т^ђ ѓ^лта'рь, и^ помоли б~а і^ил~ева”
