Now the serpent was the most crafty of all the brutes on the earth, which the Lord God made, and the serpent said to the woman, Wherefore has God said, Eat not of every tree of the garden?
|
ѕмїи же бя'ше мђдрњи'ши всњ'хъ звњ'рїи сђщихъ на земли` и^же сътвори` г~ь б~ъ” И$ ре'че ѕмїй женњ`, чт^о ја%ко реq б~ъ, да не ја%сте эT вся'каго дре'ва и%же въ раи`.

And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden,
|
И$ ре'че жена` эT плода дре'ва сђщаго, въ раи` да ја%мы и&.
|
|

|
|
but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
|
эT плода` же дре'ва и^же е^сть посредњ` ра'я реq б~ъ, да не ја%сте эT него ни'же прикосне'теся е^мђ да не ё%мрете”
|

|
And the serpent said to the woman, Ye shall not surely die.
|
И$ ре'че ѕмїи женњ`, не сме'ртїю ё%мрете,
|
|

|
|
For God knew that in whatever day ye should eat of it your eyes would be opened, and ye would be as gods, knowing good and evil.
|
вњдяше б^о б~ъ ја^ко въньже дн~ь а%ще снњсте эT него, эTве'рзђтся ѓ%чи ваши, и^ бђ'дете ја%ко бѕ~и, вњ'дяще добро` и^ зло`”
|

|
And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes to look upon and beautiful to contemplate, and having taken of its fruit she ate, and she gave to her husband also with her, and they ate.
|
И$ ви'дњ жена` ја%ко добро` дре'во въ снњдь, І$ ја%ко ё^го'дно ѓ%чи'ма ви'дњти, и^ кра'сно е^сть е%же разђмњти, и^ възеMши эT плода` е^го и^ я^де`, и^ да'стъ и& мђ'жђ свое^мђ съ собо'ю и^ ја^до'ста”

And the eyes of both were opened, and they perceived that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons to go round them.
|
И$ эTверзо'стася ѓ%чи ѓ^бњма, и^ разђмњша ја^ко на'зи бњша” И$ съши'ста ли'ствїе смоко'вное, и^ сътвори'ста се'бњ препоя^са'нїя”
|

|
And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the afternoon; and both Adam and his wife hid themselves from the face of the Lord God in the midst of the trees of the garden.
|
И$ слы'шаста глsа г~а б~а ходя'ща въ раи` въ полђ'дн~е, и^ съкры'стася а^дамъ же и^ жена` е^го, эT лица` г~а б~а посредњ` дре'ва ра'искаго”
|

|
And the Lord God called Adam and said to him, Adam, where art thou?
|
И$ призва` б~ъ а^дама, и^ ре'че е^мђ. А$да'ме а^да'ме, гдњ` б^њ”
|
|

|
|
And he said to him, I heard thy voice as thou walkedst in the garden, and I feared because I was naked and I hid myself.
|
И$ ре'че гла'са твое^го слы'шаX ходя'ща въ раи` и^ ё^боя'хся, ја%ко на'гъ е^смь и^ съкры'хся”
|

|
And God said to him, Who told thee that thou wast naked, unless thou hast eaten of the tree concerning which I charged thee of it alone not to eat?
|
И$ ре'че е^мђ б~ъ, кто възвњсти` тебњ` ја%ко на'гъ е^си, А$ще не бы` эT дре'ва е^гоже заповњда'хъ тебњ`, сего е^ді'наго не ја%сти эT него'же ја%лъ е^си”
|

|
And Adam said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me—she gave me of the tree and I ate.
|
И$ ре'че а^да'мъ, жена` ю%же ми дасть съ мно'ю, та' м^и даде` эT дре'ва и^ ја^доX.
|
|

|
|
And the Lord God said to the woman, Why hast thou done this? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me and I ate.
|
И$ ре'че б~ъ женњ`, чт^о се` сътвори'ла е^си`” И$ ре'че жена`, ѕмїи прельсти` м^я и^ я^до'хъ”
|

|
And the Lord God said to the serpent, Because thou hast done this thou art cursed above all cattle and all the brutes of the earth, on thy breast and belly thou shalt go, and thou shalt eat earth all the days of thy life.
|
И$ реq г~ь б~ъ змїю, ја%ко сътвори'лъ е^си се`, прокля'тъ ты` эT всњхъ ско'тъ, и^ эT всњ'хъ звњрїи зе'мных#, и^ на пе'рсех# твои^хъ і^ чре'вњ да пресмыка'ешися, и^ зеMлю ја%си вся дн~и живота` свое^го”

|
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman and between thy seed and her seed, he shall watch against thy head, and thou shalt watch against his heel.
|
И$ вра'ждђ положђ` по'средњ тебе`, и^ посредњ жены`, и^ посредњ сњменеM твои^мъ, и^ посредњ` тоя`. то` тебњ` блюдеT главђ, и^ ты` блюде'ши е^мђ` пятђ`”
|

|
And to the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy pains and thy groanings; in pain thou shalt bring forth children, and thy submission shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
|
И$ женњ` ре'че. ё^мно'жа ё^мно'жђ печа'ли твоя', и^ въздыханїя твоя`, въ болњзнех# роди'ши ча'да, и^ къ мђ'жђ твое^мђ възвраще'нїе твое`, и^ тои тя` ѓ^блада'етъ”

|
And to Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened to the voice of thy wife, and eaten of the tree concerning which I charged thee of it only not to eat—of that thou hast eaten, cursed is the ground in thy labours, in pain shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.
|
И$ а^да'мђ ре'че, ја%ко послђшалъ е^си гла'са жены` твое'я, и^ ја%лъ е^си эT дре'ва е^го'же заповњда'хъ тебњ` сего е^ді'наго не ја%сти эT него'же ја%лъ е^си`. прокля'та земля` въ дњ'лехъ твоиX, въ печ'лехъ снњ'си т^ђ вся` дн~и живота` твое^го”

|
Thorns and thistles shall it bring forth to thee, and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.
|
И$ те'рнїе и^ влъче'цъ възрастиT тебњ`, и^ ја%си травђ` се'лнђю,
|
|

|
|
In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat thy bread until thou return to the earth out of which thou wast taken, for earth thou art and to earth thou shalt return.
|
и^ въ по'тњ лица` твое^го снњ'си хлњ'бъ тво'и, донелиже възврати'шися въ зе'млю эT неја%же взя'тъ бы'сть, ја^ко земля` е^си и^ въ зе'млю по'идеши”

|
And Adam called the name of his wife Life, because she was the mother of all living.
|
И$ нарече` а^даM и%мя женњ` свое'и жи'знь, ја%кота` мт~и всњмъ живђщим#”
|
|

|
|
And the Lord God made for Adam and his wife garments of skin, and clothed them.
|
И$ сътвори` г~ь б~ъ а^да'мђ и^ женњ` е^го ризы ко'жаны, и^ ѓ^блече` иX”
|
|

|
|
And God said, Behold, Adam is become as one of us, to know good and evil, and now lest at any time he stretch forth his hand, and take of the tree of life and eat, and so he shall live for ever—
|
И$ ре'че б~ъ, с^е а^да'мъ бы'сть ја%ко е^ді'нъ эT на'съ, е^же разђмњва'ти добро` и^ лђка'во” И$ нн~њ да не когда` простреT рђ'кђ, и^ възметъ эT дре'ва жи'зни и^ снњсть, и^ жи'въ бђ'детъ въ вњкы”

So the Lord God sent him forth out of the garden of Delight to cultivate the ground out of which he was taken.
|
И$згна` е^го г~ъ б~ъ и^з ра'я пи'ща, дњлати зе'млю эT неја%же взяT бы'сть”
|
|

|
|
And he cast out Adam and caused him to dwell over against the garden of Delight, and stationed the cherubs and the fiery sword that turns about to keep the way of the tree of life.
|
І$ и^зя'ть а^да'ма, и^ всели е^го пря'мо ра'ю пи'ща” И$ приста'ви херђви'мъ и^ пла'менно ѓ^рђжїе, ѓ^бращаю^щее^ся храни'ти пђть дре'ва жи'зни”
