And Joseph came and told Pharao, saying, My father, and my brethren, and their cattle, and their oxen, and all their possessions, are come out of the land of Chanaan, and, behold, they are in the land of Gesem.
|
Прише'дъ же і^ѓ'сифъ, повњда фараѓ'нђ, и^ рече. эTц~ъ мои и^ братїа моа` и^ ско'ти и^ воло'ве и^ вс^е и^хъ прїидо'ша и^зъ земля` ханаа'ня, и^ с^е сђть в# земли` гесе'мли.

And he took of his brethren five men, and set them before Pharao.
|
эT братїа же своея` поя`, е~, мђжїи, поста'ви преD фараѓ'ноM”
|

|
And Pharao said to the brethren of Joseph, What is your occupation? and they said to Pharao, Thy servants are shepherds, both we and our fathers.
|
И$ рече фараѓ'нъ къ бра'тїи і^ѓ'сифли, чт^о дњло ва'ше, сїи& же рњша фараѓ'нђ, пастђси` ѓ^вчїи раби` твои` е^смы, м^ы, и^ эTц~ы на'ши, эT дњтъска и^ досе'лњ”

|
And they said to Pharao, We are come to sojourn in the land, for there is no pasture for the flocks of thy servants, for the famine has prevailed in the land of Chanaan; now then, we will dwell in the land of Gesem. And Pharao said to Joseph, Let them dwell in the land of Gesem; and if thou knowest that there are among them able men, make them overseers of my cattle. So Jacob and his sons came into Egypt, to Joseph; and Pharao, king of Egypt, heard of it.

Реко'ша же фараѓ'нђ, ѓ^бита'ти въ землю прїидохомъ нњсть б^о па'ствы скотђ ра'бъ твои^хъ, съѓ^долњ б^о глаD на земли` ханаа'ни, нн~њ ё^бо да въселяTся раби твои`, в зе'млю гесе'млю.

And Pharao spoke to Joseph, saying, Thy father, and thy brethren, are come to thee.
|
речеy фараѓ'нъ і^ѓ'сифђ гл~я эTц~ъ твои и^ братїа твоа` прїидо'ша к тебњ.
|

|
|
Behold, the land of Egypt is before thee; settle thy father and thy brethren in the best land.
|
се же земля е^гљ=пет#ская преD тобо'ю е^сть. на до'брњи же земли` эTц~а твое^го и^ бра'тїю ё^сели`, и^ да живђть въ земли гесе'мли” А/ще ли вњ'си ја%ко сђть мђжи в нихъ си'лнїи, т^о постави я& старњишины ското'мъ мои^мъ” И$ прїидо'ша въ е^гљ=петъ къ і^ѓ'сифђ і^а'ковъ и^ сн~ове е^го, и^ слы'ша фараѓ'нъ цр~ь е^гљ=петъскыи”

And Joseph brought in Jacob his father, and set him before Pharao; and Jacob blessed Pharao.
|
Въведе же і^ѓ'сифъ і^а'кова эTц~а свое^го, и^ поста'ви е^го предъ фараѓ'номъ, и^ блsви і^а'ковъ фараѓ'на

|
And Pharao said to Jacob, How many are the years of the days of thy life?
|
рече же фараѓ'нъ къ і^а'ковђ, коли'ко лњтъ дн~и житїа твое^го.
|
|

|
|
And Jacob said to Pharao, The days of the years of my life, wherein I sojourn, are a hundred and thirty years; few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, they have not attained to the days of the life of my fathers, in which days they sojourned.
|
рече же і^а'ковъ фараѓ'нђ, дн~їи лњтъ житїя` мое^го ја^же ѓ^бита'хъ, р~л, лњтъ, ма'ли и^ зли быша дн~їе лњтъ житїя` мое^го, не постиго'ша б^о дн~їе лњт# житїа эTц~ъ мои^хъ, ја%же дн~їи ѓ^бита'ша”

|
And Jacob blessed Pharao, and departed from him.
|
И$ блsви і^а'ковъ фараѓ'на, и^ эTи^де эT него вонъ”
|

|
And Joseph settled his father and his brethren, and gave them a possession in the land of Egypt, in the best land, in the land of Ramesses, as Pharao commanded.
|
И$ ё^сели` і^ѓ'сифъ эTц~а и^ бра'тїю свою`, и^ дасть иM ѓ^бдръшанїе в земли` е^гљ=пеTстњи, на до'брњи земли`, и^ в земли` рамесїи'нњ. ја^коже повелњ` фараѓ'нъ”

|
And Joseph gave provision to his father, and his brethren, and to all the house of his father, corn for each person.
|
И$ дњля'ше і^ѓ'сифъ пшени'цђ эTц~ђ свое^мђ и^ бра'тїи свое'й и^ всемђ` до'мђ эTц~а свое^го кое^мђждо по числђ ли'цъ”
|

|
|
And there was no corn in all the land, for the famine prevailed greatly; and the land of Egypt, and the land of Chanaan, fainted for the famine.
|
Пшени'ца же не бяше въ все'и земли`, съѓ^долњва'ше б^о глаD на земли`, скончева'ше бо ся земля` е^гљ=петъская, и^ земля` ханаа'ня эT гла'да”
|

|
And Joseph gathered all the money that was found in the land of Egypt, and the land of Chanaan, in return for the corn which they bought, and he distributed corn to them; and Joseph brought all the money into the house of Pharao.
|
Събра же і^ѓ'сифъ вс^е сребро`, е^же ѓ^брњте в земли` е^гљ=петъстњ, и^ в земли` ханаа'ни, за пшени'цђ е^же кђпова'хђ и^ цњня'ше и^мъ” И$ внесе` і^ѓ'сифъ вс^е сребро` въ до'мъ фараѓ'новъ,

|
|
And all the money failed out of the land of Egypt, and out of the land of Chanaan; and all the Egyptians came to Joseph, saying, Give us bread, and why do we die in thy presence? for our money is spent.
|
и^ сконча'ся вс^е сребро` эT земля` е^гљ=пеTскїа и^ ханаа'ньскїа” Прїидо'ша же вс^и е^гљ=птяне, къ і^ѓ'сифђ гл~юще, да'ждъ намъ хлњбъ, въскђю м^ы ё^мираемъ преD тобою, сконча' бо ся сребро` на'ше”

|
And Joseph said to them, Bring your cattle, and I will give you bread for your cattle, if your money is spent.
|
Рече же иM і^ѓ'сифъ, приженњте ско'тъ свои, да даM вамъ за ско'тъ вашъ хлњбъ, а%ще ся сконча'ло сребро`.
|

|
And they brought their cattle to Joseph; and Joseph gave them bread in return for their horses, and for their sheep, and for their oxen, and for their asses; and Joseph maintained them with bread for all their cattle in that year.
|
пригна'шаy скотъ къ і^ѓ'сифђ, и^ дасть иM і^ѓ'сиf хлњбы за кони' и^ за ѓ^вца`, и^ за говя'да, и^ за ѓ^слы. и^ прекорми я& хлњбы за скотъ и^хъ в томъ лњтњ”

|
And that year passed, and they came to him in the second year, and said to him, Must we then be consumed from before our lord? for if our money has failed, and our possessions, and our cattle, brought to thee our lord, and there has not been left to us before our lord more than our own bodies and our land, we are indeed destitute.
|
И$зы'де же т^о лњто, пришеDши же въ второ'е лњто реко'ша е^мђ, е^да` поги'бнеM эT гдsна нашего, е^гда` б^о скончи'шася сребро` і^ и^мњнїе и^ скотъ к тебњ гдsне. и^ нњсть ѓ^стало намъ предъ тобо'ю гдsне нашъ, н^ото'чїю тњло и^ земля` наша,

|
In order, then, that we die not before thee, and the land be made desolate, buy us and our land for bread, and we and our land will be servants to Pharao: give seed that we may sow, and live and not die, so our land shall not be made desolate.
|
да ё%мремъ предъ тобо'ю, и^ земля` ѓ^пђстњ'етъ, кђпи` наs, и^ зе'млю нашђ хлњбы, и^ да бђ'демъ м^ы и^ земля` наша рабоTна фараѓ'нђ, даждь намъ сњмя, да въсњ'емъ и^ жи'ви бђдемъ, да не ё^мремъ и^ земля` не ѓ^пђстњ'етъ”

|
And Joseph bought all the land of the Egyptians, for Pharao; for the Egyptians sold their land to Pharao; for the famine prevailed against them, and the land became Pharao's.
|
И$ кђпи` вс^ю зе'млю е^гљ=пеTскђю і^ѓ'сифъ фараѓ'нђ, и^ поэTдава'ше е^гљ=птяне вс^ю зе'млю фараѓ'нђ, съѓ^долњ бо и^мъ гла'дъ, и^ бысть земля` фараѓ^нђ”

|
And he brought the people into bondage to him, for servants, from one extremity of Egypt to the other,
|
И$ люди поработи е^мђ в рабы, эT кра'я предњлъ е^гљ=петъскъ до кра'я е^я,
|
|

|
except only the land of the priests; Joseph bought not this, for Pharao gave a portion in the way of gift to the priests; and they ate their portion which Pharao gave them; therefore they sold not their land.
|
развњ земля` жре'чески, тоя` б^о не кђпи` і^ѓ'сиf да'нь бо дасть жръцемъ фараѓ'нъ. и^ ја%дяхђ дань ю^же дасть и^мъ фараѓn сего` ради не эTдаша земля` своея”
|

|
And Joseph said to all the Egyptians, Behold, I have bought you and your land this day for Pharao; take seed for you, and sow the land.
|
Рече же і^ѓ'сифъ всњмъ е^гљ=птњном# се кђпи'хъ васъ и^ вс^ю зе'млю вашђ фараѓ'нђ днsь. възмњте сњмена и^ сњ'ите на ни'вахъ, а^ и^же
|

|
And there shall be the fruits of it; and ye shall give the fifth part to Pharao, and the four remaining parts shall be for yourselves, for seed for the earth, and for food for you, and all that are in your houses.
|
бђдђтъ жи'та по нихъ, да да'сте пя'тђю часть фараѓ'нђ, четыре части бђдђтъ вамъ, сњмена ни'вамъ, и^ на препита'нїе вамъ, и^ всњмъ домо'мъ вашимъ,
|

|
|
And they said, Thou hast saved us; we have found favour before our lord, and we will be servants to Pharao.
|
и^ реко'ша ѓ^живи'лъ ны е^си ѓ^брњто'хоM бл~года'ть преD тобо'ю, господиномъ нашимъ, да бђ'демъ раби` фараѓ'ни”
|

|
And Joseph appointed it to them for an ordinance until this day; to reserve a fifth part for Pharao, on the land of Egypt, except only the land of the priests, that was not Pharao's.
|
И$ ё^ста'вї имъ за'повњдь і^ѓ'сифъ, до днешняго дн~е на земли` е^гљ=пеTстњи, пятђю ча'сть давати фараѓ'нђ, кромњ земля` жре'ческы, та` б^ото'чїю не бя'ше фараѓ'ня”

|
And Israel dwelt in Egypt, in the land of Gesem, and they gained an inheritance upon it; and they increased and multiplied very greatly.
|
Всели' же ся і^и~ль в земли` е^гљ=пеTстњи, на земли` гесе'мли, и^ прїа'ша ю& и^ расплоди'шася и^ ё^множишася на не'и ѕњло`,
|

|
And Jacob survived seventeen years in the land of Egypt; and Jacob's days of the years of his life were a hundred and forty-seven years.
|
живе' же і^а'ковъ в земли` е^гљ=петъстњи, з~і, лњтъ” Бысть же дн~їи і^а'ковлиX лњтъ жи'зни е^го. р~м~ и^
|

|
And the days of Israel drew nigh for him to die: and he called his son Joseph, and said to him, If I have found favour before thee, put thy hand under my thigh, and thou shalt execute mercy and truth toward me, so as not to bury me in Egypt.
|
з~” И$ приспњша же дн~їе і^ил~я ё^мрњти. и^ призва` і^ѓ'сифа сн~а свое^го, и^ рече е^мђ. а%ще е^смь ѓ^брњлъ блгDть преD тобо'ю положи рђкђ твою поD стегно мое`, да сътвори'ши со мно'ю млsть, і^ и'стиннђ, да не погребе'ши мене` въ е^гљ=птњ.

|
But I will sleep with my fathers, and thou shalt carry me up out of Egypt, and bury me in their sepulchre. And he said, I will do according to thy word.
|
но^ положи'ши м^я съ эTц~ы мои'ми, і^ и^знесе'ши м^я и^з# е^гљ=пта и^ погребе'ши м^я въ гро'бXњ и^хъ. Се'й же рече` сътворю` по словеси` твое^мђ.

|
And he said, Swear to me; and he swore to him. And Israel did reverence, leaning on the top of his staff.
|
рече же е^мђ, клени' ми ся, и^ кля'тся е^мђ, и^ поклони'ся і^и~ль коне'цъ жезла е^го”
