Пѣ́снь степе́ней.
|
A Song of Degrees. Many a time have they warred against me from my youth, let Israel now say:

|
Мно́жицею бра́шася со мно́ю от ю́ности моєя́, да рече́тъ у́бо Ізра́иль:
|
Many a time have they warred against me from my youth: and yet they prevailed not against me.
|
|

|
|
мно́жицею бра́шася со мно́ю от ю́ности моєя́, и́бо не премого́ша мя́.
|
The sinners wrought upon my back: they prolonged their iniquity.
|
|

|
|
На хребтѣ́ моє́мъ дѣ́лаша грѣ́шницы, продолжи́ша беззако́ніє своє́.
|
The righteous Lord has cut asunder the necks of sinners.
|
|

|
|
Госпо́дь пра́веденъ ссѣче́ вы́я грѣ́шниковъ.
|
Let all that hate Sion be put to shame and turned back.
|
|

|
|
Да постыдя́тся и возвратя́тся вспя́ть вси́ ненави́дящіи Сіо́на:
|
Let them be as the grass of the house-tops, which withers before it is plucked up.
|
|

|
|
да бу́дутъ я́ко трава́ на здѣ́хъ {на кро́вѣхъ}, я́же пре́жде восторже́нія и́зсше:
|
Wherewith the reaper fills not his hand, nor he that makes up the sheaves, his bosom.
|

|
|
є́юже не испо́лни руки́ своєя́ жня́й, и нѣ́дра своєго́ рукоя́ти собира́яй:
|
Neither do they that go by say, The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we have blessed you in the name of the Lord.
|

|
|
и не рѣ́ша мимоходя́щіи: благослове́ніє Госпо́дне на вы́, благослови́хомъ вы́ во и́мя Госпо́дне.
|
