Глава 21	Chapter 21

1	1
Дванадцяти років був Манассія, коли став царем, і п’ятдесят років царював у Єрусалимі; ім’я матері його Хефциба.	Manasses was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty-five years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Apsiba.

І робив він неугодне в очах Господніх, наслідуючи мерзоти народів, яких прогнав Господь від лиця синів Ізраїлевих.	And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the Lord, according to the abominations of the nations which the Lord cast out from before the children of Israel.

І знову спорудив висоти, які знищив батько його Єзекія, і поставив жертовники Ваалу, і зробив діброву, як зробив Ахав, цар Ізраїльський; і поклонявся всьому воїнству небесному, і служив йому.	And he built again the high places, which Ezekias his father had demolished; and set up an altar to Baal, and made groves as Achaab king of Israel made them; and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

І спорудив жертовники в домі Господньому, про який сказав Господь: «в Єрусалимі покладу ім’я Моє».	And he built an altar in the house of the Lord, whereas he had said, In Jerusalem I will place my name.

І спорудив жертовники всьому воїнству небесному на обох дворах дому Господнього,	And he built an altar to all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.

і провів сина свого через вогонь, і чаклував, і ворожив, і завів викликувачів мерців і чаклунів; багато зробив неугодного в очах Господа, щоб прогнівити Його.	And he caused his sons to pass through the fire, and used divination and auspices, and made groves, and multiplied wizards, so as to do that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.

І поставив ідола Астарти, якого зробив у домі, про який говорив Господь Давиду і Соломону, синові його: «у домі цьому і в Єрусалимі, який Я обрав із усіх колін Ізраїлевих, Я покладу ім’я Моє повіки;	And he set up the graven image of the grove in the house of which the Lord said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, will I even place my name for ever.

і не дам надалі виступити нозі ізраїльтянина із землі, яку Я дав батькам їхнім, якщо тільки вони будуть намагатися чинити згідно з усім тим, що Я повелів їм, і з усім законом, який заповів їм раб Мій Мойсей».	And I will not again remove the foot of Israel from the land which I gave to their fathers, even of those who shall keep all that I commanded, according to all the commandments which my servant Moses commanded them.

Але вони не послухалися; і спокусив їх Манассія до того, що вони чинили гірше за ті народи, які знищив Господь від лиця синів Ізраїлевих.	But they hearkened not; and Manasses led them astray to do evil in the sight of the Lord, beyond the nations whom the Lord utterly destroyed from before the children of Israel.

І говорив Господь через рабів Своїх пророків і сказав:	And the Lord spoke by his servants the prophets, saying,

за те, що зробив Манассія, цар Юдейський, такі мерзоти, гірші за все те, що робили аморреї, які були раніше нього, і ввів Іуду в гріх ідолами своїми,	Forasmuch as Manasses the king of Juda has wrought all these evil abominations, beyond all that the Amorite did, who lived before him, and has led Juda also into sin by their idols,

за те, так говорить Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, ось, Я наведу таке зло на Єрусалим і на Іуду, про яке, якщо хто почує, задзвенить в обох вухах у нього;	it shall not be so. Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Behold, I bring calamities upon Jerusalem and Juda, so that both the ears of every one that hears shall tingle.
13	13
і простягну на Єрусалим мірчу вірьовку Самарії і висок дому Ахава, і витру Єрусалим так, як витирають чашу, — витруть і перекинуть її;	And I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measure of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Achaab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as a jar is wiped, and turned upside down in the wiping.

і відкину залишок наділу Мого, і віддам їх у руку ворогів їхніх, і будуть на розкрадання і розграбування усім ворогам своїм,	And I will reject the remnant of my inheritance, and will deliver them into the hands of their enemies; and they shall be for a plunder and for a spoil to all their enemies:
15	15
за те, що вони робили неугодне в очах Моїх і прогнівляли Мене з того дня, як вийшли батьки їхні з Єгипту, і до цього дня.	forasmuch as they have done wickedly in my sight, and have provoked me from the day that I brought out their fathers out of Egypt, even until this day.
16	16
Ще ж пролив Манассія і дуже багато невинної крови, так що наповнив нею Єрусалим від краю до краю, крім свого гріха, що він увів Іуду в гріх — робити неугодне в очах Господніх.	Moreover Manasses shed very much innocent blood, until he filled Jerusalem with it from one end to the other, beside his sins with which he caused Juda to sin, in doing evil in the eyes of the Lord.

Інше про Манассію і про все, що він зробив, і про гріхи його, в чому він згрішив, написано в літописі царів юдейських.	And the rest of the acts of Manasses, and all that he did, and his sin which he sinned, are not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda?

І спочив Манассія з батьками своїми, і похований у саду біля дому його, в саду Уззи. І став царем Аммон, син його, замість нього.	And Manasses slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his house, even in the garden of Oza: and Amos his son reigned in his stead.
19	19
Двадцяти двох років був Аммон, коли став царем, і два роки царював у Єрусалимі; ім’я матері його Мешуллемеф, дочка Харуца, з Ятби.	Twenty and two years old was Amos when he began to reign, and he reigned two years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Mesollam, daughter of Arus of Jeteba.
20	20
І робив він неугодне в очах Господніх так, як робив Манассія, батько його;	And he did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, as Manasses his father did.
21	21
і ходив тією ж точно дорогою, якою ходив батько його, і служив ідолам, яким служив батько його, і поклонявся їм,	And he walked in all the way in which his father walked, and served the idols which his father served, and worshipped them.
22	22
і залишив Господа Бога батьків своїх, не ходив путями Господніми.	And he forsook the Lord God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.
23	23
І вчинили змову слуги Аммонові проти нього, й умертвили царя в домі його.	And the servants of Amos conspired against him, and slew the king in his house.
24	24
Але народ землі перебив усіх, хто був у змові проти царя Аммона; і поставив народ царем над землею Іосію, сина його, замість нього.	And the people of the land slew all that had conspired against king Amos; and the people of the land made Josias his son king in his room.
25	25
Інше про Аммона, що він зробив, написано в літописі царів юдейських.	And the rest of the acts of Amos, even all that he did, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Juda?

І поховали його в гробниці його, в саду Уззи. І став царем Іосія, син його, замість нього.	And they buried him in his tomb in the garden of Oza: and Josias his son reigned in his stead.
