| Іуда, раб Ісуса Христа, брат Якова, покликаним, що освячені Богом Отцем і збережені Ісусом Христом: | Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are called, sanctified by God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ: |

| милість вам, і мир, і любов нехай примножаться. | Mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied. |

| Улюблені! Маючи старання писати вам про загальне спасіння, я визнав за потрібне написати вам‚ благаючи боротися за віру, раз передану святим. | Beloved, while I was giving all diligence to write unto you of our common salvation, I was constrained to write unto you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered unto the saints. |

| Бо укралися деякі люди, що здавна призначені на цей осуд, нечестиві, які благодать Бога нашого обертають на привід до розпусти і відкидають єдиного Владику Бога і Господа нашого Ісуса Христа. | For there are certain men crept in privily, even they who were of old written of beforehand unto this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ. |

| Я хочу нагадати вам, котрі вже знають про це, що Господь, визволивши народ із землі Єгипетської, потім вигубив тих, що не вірували, | Now I desire to put you in remembrance, though ye know this once for all, that the Lord, having saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. |

| і ангелів, які не зберегли своєї гідности, але залишили своє житло, Він зберігає у вічних кайданах, під темрявою на суд великого дня. | And angels that kept not their own principality, but left their proper habitation, he hath kept in everlasting bonds under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. |

| Як Содом і Гоморра та навколишні міста, які подібно до них блудодіяли і ходили за іншою плоттю, зазнавши кари вогню вічного, поставлені як приклад, — | Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them, having in like manner with these given themselves over to fornication and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the punishment of eternal fire. |

| так само буде і з цими мрійниками, що оскверняють плоть, зневажають начальство і лихословлять високі власті. | Yet in like manner these also in their dreamings defile the flesh, and set at nought dominion, and rail at dignities. |

| Михаїл же архангел, коли говорив із дияволом, сперечаючись про Мойсеєве тіло, не наважився винести зневажливого суду, але сказав: «Нехай заборонить тобі Господь». | But Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing judgment, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. |

| А ці лихословлять те, чого не знають; а що‚ як безсловесні тварини, із природи знають, тим розтлівають себе. | But these rail at whatsoever things they know not: and what they understand naturally, like the creatures without reason, in these things are they destroyed. |

| Горе їм, бо йдуть дорогою Каїна і спокушаються мздою, як Валаам, і в упертості гинуть, як Корей. | Woe unto them! for they went in the way of Cain, and ran riotously in the error of Balaam for hire, and perished in the gainsaying of Korah. |

| Такі бувають спокусою на ваших вечерях любови; бенкетуючи з вами, без страху відгодовують себе. Це безводні хмари, що носить вітер; осінні дерева безплідні, двічі померлі, викорінені; | These are hidden rocks in your love feasts when they feast with you, shepherds that without fear feed themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; |

| люті морські хвилі, що піняться соромом своїм; зірки блукаючі, яким зберігається морок темряви навіки. | wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the blackness of darkness hath been reserved forever. |

| Про них пророкував і Єнох, сьомий від Адама, кажучи: «Ось іде Господь із тисячами святих ангелів Своїх — | And to these also Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied, saying, Behold, the Lord came with ten thousands of his holy ones, |

| учинити суд над усіма і викрити між ними нечестивих у всіх ділах, які чинило їхнє безчестя, і в усіх жорстоких словах, що говорили на Нього нечестиві грішники». | to execute judgment upon all, and to convict all their ungodly ones of all their works of ungodliness which they have ungodly wrought, and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. |

| Це ті, що ремствують, нічим не задоволені і чинять за своїми похотями нечестиво і беззаконно, уста ж їхні гордовито промовляють; вони улещують особи задля користи. | These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their lusts (and their mouth speaketh great swelling words), showing respect of persons for the sake of advantage. |

| Але ви, улюблені, пам’ятайте проречене апостолами Господа нашого Ісуса Христа. | But ye, beloved, remember ye the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; |

| Вони говорили вам, що в останній час з’являться ганьбителі, що діють за своїми нечестивими похотями. | that they said to you that in the last time there should be mockers, walking after their own ungodly lusts. |
|

|
| Це люди, котрі відділяють себе від єдности віри, душевні‚ що не мають духа. | These are they who make separations, sensual, having not the Spirit. |
|

|
| А ви, улюблені, навчаючись найсвятішої віри вашої, молячись Духом Святим, | But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, |

|
| бережіть себе в любові Божій, чекаючи милости від Господа нашого Ісуса Христа для вічного життя. | keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. |

|
| І до одних будьте милостиві, з розсудом, | And on some have mercy, making a difference; |
|

|
| а інших страхом спасайте, вихоплюючи з вогню; викривайте ж зі страхом, ненавидячи навіть одяг, що осквернений плоттю. | and others save with fear, snatching them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. |

|
| Тому ж, Хто може зберегти вас без гріха і без скверни і поставити перед славою Своєю непорочними в радості, | Now unto him that is able to guard them from stumbling, and to set them before the presence of his glory without blemish in exceeding joy, |
|

|
| Єдиному Премудрому Богові, Спасителю нашому через Ісуса Христа Господа нашого, слава і велич, сила і влада перед усіма віками, і нині‚ і на всі віки. Амінь. | to the only wise God our Savior, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forevermore. Amen. |
