И# давjдъ стaръ и3 и3сп0лненъ днjй, и3 воцари2 соломHна сhна своего2 вмёстw себє2 над8 ї}лемъ: And David was old and full of days; and he made Solomon his son king over Israel in his stead.

и3 собрA всёхъ кнzзeй ї}левыхъ, и3 свzщeнникwвъ, и3 леvjтwвъ: And he assembled all the chief men of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites.

сочтeни же бhша леvjти, t три1десzти лётъ и3 вhшше, и3 бhсть число2 и4хъ по главaмъ и4хъ, мужeй три1десzть и3 џсмь тhсzщъ: And the Levites numbered themselves from thirty years old and upward; and their number by their polls amounted to thirty and eight thousand men.

t си1хъ и3збрaни на дэлA д0му гDнz двaдесzть четhри тhсzщы, и3 книг0чєй и3 судjй шeсть тhсzщъ, Of the overseers over the works of the house of the Lord there were twenty-four thousand, and there were six thousand scribes and judges;

и3 четhри тhсzщы двeрникwвъ, и3 четhри тhсzщы пою1щихъ гDеви во nргaны, и5хже сотвори2 ко хвалeнію гDню. and four thousand door-keepers, and four thousand to praise the Lord with instruments which he made to praise the Lord.

И# раздэли2 и5хъ давjдъ на чрeды сынHмъ леv‡инымъ, гирсHну, каafу и3 мерaрэ: And David divided them into daily courses, for the sons of Levi, for Gedson, Caath, and Merari.

и3 гирсHну и3 леадaну и3 семeю. And for the family of Gedson, Edan, and Semei.

Сhнове леад†ни: начaлникъ їеіи1лъ и3 зеfHfъ и3 їwи1ль, тріE. The sons of Edan were Jeiel, the chief, and Zethan, and Joel, three.

Сhнове же семewвы: салwмjfъ и3 ґзаи1лъ и3 ґрaмъ, тріE: сjи нач†лницы nтeчествъ леадaнихъ. The sons of Semei; Salomith, Jeiel, and Dan, three: these were the chiefs of the families of Edan.

И# сынHмъ семewвымъ їefъ и3 зізaй, и3 їwaсъ и3 веріA: тjи сhнове семewвы четhре. And to the sons of Semei, Jeth, and Ziza, and Joas, and Beria: these were the four sons of Semei.

Бё же їefъ пeрвый и3 зізaй вторhй: їwaсъ же и3 варіA не и3мёста мн0гихъ сынHвъ и3 бhста въ домY nтeчества въ причтeніе є3ди1но. And Jeth was the chief, and Ziza the second: and Joas and Beria did not multiply sons, and they became only one reckoning according to the house of their father.

Сhнове каafwвы: ґмврaмъ и3 їссаaръ, хеврHнъ, nзіи1лъ, четhри. The sons of Caath; Ambram, Isaar, Chebron, Oziel, four.

Сhнове ґмвр†мли: ґарHнъ и3 мwmсeй: tлучeнъ же бhсть ґарHнъ є4же њсвzщaти с™†z с™hхъ, т0й и3 сhнове є3гw2 во вёки, и3 да кади1тъ fmміaмомъ пред8 гDемъ, слyжитъ є3мY и3 м0литсz во и4мz є3гw2 до вёка. The sons of Ambram; Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was appointed for the consecration of the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the Lord, to minister and bless in his name for ever.

Мwmсeй же человёкъ б9ій и3 сhнове є3гw2 причтeни сyть въ колёно леvjино. And as for Moses the man of God, his sons were reckoned to the tribe of Levi.

Сhнове мwmсewвы: гирсaмъ и3 є3ліезeръ. The sons of Moses; Gersam, and Eliezer.

Сhнове гирс†мли, суваи1лъ начaлникъ. The sons of Gersam; Subael the chief.

Бhша же сhнове є3ліезeру, равjа начaлникъ: и3 не бёша є3ліезeру сhнове и3нjи: сhнове же равjини ўмн0жени сyть ѕэлw2. And the sons of Eliezer were, Rabia the chief: and Eliezer had no other sons; but the sons of Rabia were very greatly multiplied.

Сhнове хеврw6ни: їеріaвъ пeрвый, ґмарjа вторhй, їазіи1лъ трeтій їезекjа четвeртый. The sons of Chebron; Jeria the chief, Amaria the second, Jeziel the third, Jekemias the fourth.

Сhнове же nзіи6ли: мjха пeрвый, и3 їессіA вторhй. The sons of Oziel; Micha the chief, and Isia the second.

Сhнове мер†ріны: моолJ и3 мусJ. The sons of Merari; Mooli, and Musi: the sons of Mooli; Eleazar, and Kis.

Сhнове моолjєвы: є3леазaръ и3 кjсъ. Ќмре же є3леазaръ, и3 не бhша є3мY сhнове, но т0кмw дщє1ри: и3 поsша и5хъ сhнове кjсwвы брaтіz и4хъ. And Eleazar died, and he had no sons, but daughters: and the sons of Kis, their brethren, took them.

Сhнове мус‡ины: моолJ и3 є3дeръ и3 їарімHfъ, тріE. The sons of Musi; Mooli, and Eder, and Jarimoth, three.

Сjи сhнове леvjини по домHмъ nтeчествъ и4хъ, нач†лницы nтeчествъ и4хъ, по соглsданію и4хъ, по числY и3мeнъ и4хъ, по главaмъ и4хъ, и5же творsху дэлA служeніz д0му гDнz, t двaдесzти лётъ и3 вhшше. These are the sons of Levi according to the houses of their fathers; chiefs of their families according to their numbering, according to the number of their names, according to their polls, doing the works of service of the house of the Lord, from twenty years old and upward.

Речe бо давjдъ: пок0й дадE гDь бGъ лю1демъ свои6мъ ї}лю, и3 всели1сz во їеrли1мэ дaже да вёка, For David said, The Lord God of Israel has given rest to his people, and has taken up his abode in Jerusalem for ever.

и3 леvjти не бhша носsще ски1нію и3 вс‰ сосyды є3S къ служeнію є3S. And the Levites bore not the tabernacle, and all the vessels of it for its service.

По повелёнію бо давjдову послёднему є4сть число2 сыновHмъ леv‡инымъ t двaдесzти лётъ и3 вhшше: For by the last words of David was the number of the Levites taken from twenty years old and upward.

занE постaви и5хъ под8 рукY сынHмъ ґарw6нимъ, є4же служи1ти въ домY гDни во дв0рэхъ и3 въ притв0рэхъ, и3 во њчищeніи всёхъ с™hнь, и3 въ дёлэхъ служeніz д0му б9іz, For he appointed them to wait on Aaron, to minister in the house of the Lord, over the courts, and over the chambers, and over the purification of all the holy things, and over the works of the service of the house of God;

и3 над8 хлёбами предложeніz, и3 над8 мук0ю пшени1чною жeртвы, и3 над8 прsжмами њпрэсн0чными, и3 над8 сковрад0ю, и3 над8 печeнымъ, и3 над8 всsкимъ вёсомъ и3 мёрою, and for the shew-bread, and for the fine flour of the meat-offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for the fried cake, and for the dough, and for every measure;

и3 є4же стоsти, ќтрw хвали1ти и3 и3сповёдатисz гDеви, тaкожде и3 къ вeчеру, and to stand in the morning to praise and give thanks to the Lord, and so in the evening;

и3 над8 всёми возноси1мыми всесожжє1ніи гDеви въ суббw6ты, и3 въ новомёсzчіихъ, и3 въ прaздницэхъ, по числY, по чи1ну и4хъ вhну гDеви, and to be over all the whole-burnt-offerings that were offered up to the Lord on the sabbaths, and at the new moons, and at the feasts, by number, according to the order given to them, continually before the Lord.

и3 да сохранsтъ стражбы6 ски1ніи свидёніz, и3 стрaжу свzти1лища, и3 стражбы6 сынHвъ ґарHнихъ брaтій свои1хъ, да слyжатъ въ домY гDни. And they are to keep the charge of the tabernacle of witness, and the charge of the holy place, and the charges of the sons of Aaron their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
