| І призва́ обана́десять ученики́ Своя́, даде́ їм власть на ду́сіх нечи́стих, я́ко да ізго́нять їх, і ціли́ти всяк неду́г і вся́ку болі́знь. | And he called unto him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness. |

| Двана́десятих же апо́столов імена́ суть сія́: пе́рвий Си́мон, і́же нарица́ється Петр, і Андре́й, брат єго́; Іа́ков Зеведе́єв і Іоа́нн, брат єго́; | Now the names of the twelve apostles are these: The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; |

| Фили́пп і Варфоломе́й; Фома́ і Матфе́й мита́р; Іа́ков Алфе́єв і Левве́й, наріче́нний Фадде́й; | Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, who was surnamed Thaddaeus; |

| Си́мон Канані́т і Іу́да Іскаріо́тський, і́же і предаде́ Єго́. | Simon the Cananite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. |

| Сія́ обана́десять посла́ Ісу́с, запові́да їм, глаго́ля: на путь язи́к не іді́те і во град самаря́нський не вни́діте; | These twelve Jesus sent forth, and charged them, saying, Go not into any way of the Gentiles, and enter not into any city of the Samaritans: |

| іді́те же па́че ко овця́м поги́бшим до́му Ізра́їлева; | but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. |

|
| ходя́ще же пропові́дуйте, глаго́люще: я́ко прибли́жися Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє; | And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. |
|

|
| боля́щия ісціля́йте, прокаже́нния очища́йте, ме́ртвия воскреша́йте, бі́си ізгоня́йте; ту́не прия́сте, ту́не даді́те. | Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons: freely ye received, freely give. |
|

| (Зач. 35) Не стяжі́те зла́та, ні сребра́, ні мі́ді при поясі́х ва́ших, | Get you no gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses; |
|

|
| ні пи́ри в путь, ні двою́ ри́зу, ні сапо́г, ні жезла́; досто́їн бо єсть ді́латель мзди своєя́. | no wallet for your journey, neither two coats, nor shoes, nor staves: for the laborer is worthy of his food. |
|

|
| В о́ньже а́ще (коли́ждо) град іли́ весь вни́дете, іспита́йте, кто в нем досто́їн єсть, і ту пребу́діте, до́ндеже ізи́дете; | And into whatsoever city or village ye shall enter, search out who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go forth. |

| входя́ще же в дом цілу́йте єго́, глаго́люще: мир до́му сему́; | And as ye enter into the house, salute it. |
|

|
| і а́ще у́бо бу́деть дом досто́їн, при́йдеть мир ваш нань; а́ще ли же не бу́деть досто́їн, мир ваш к вам возврати́ться. | And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. |
|

|
| І і́же а́ще не при́йметь вас, ніже́ послу́шаєть слове́с ва́ших, ісходя́ще із до́му іли́ із гра́да того́, оттрясі́те прах ног ва́ших; | And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, as ye go forth out of that house or that city, shake off the dust of your feet. |

| Амі́нь глаго́лю вам: отра́дніє бу́деть землі́ содо́мстій і гомо́ррстій в день су́дний, не́же гра́ду тому́. | Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city. |

| (Зач. 36) Се, Аз посила́ю вас я́ко о́вці посреді́ волко́в; бу́діте у́бо му́дрі, я́ко змія́, і ці́лі, я́ко го́лубіє. | Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. |

| Внемлі́те же от челові́к: предадя́ть бо ви на со́нми, і на собо́рищих їх бію́ть вас, | But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to councils, and in their synagogues they will scourge you; |
|

| і пред влади́ки же і царі́ веде́ні бу́дете Мене́ ра́ди, во свиді́тельство їм і язи́ком. | yea and before governors and kings shall ye be brought for my sake, for a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. |
|

| Єгда́ же предаю́ть ви, не пеці́теся, ка́ко іли́ что возглаго́лете; да́стьбося вам в той час, что возглаго́лете; | But when they deliver you up, be not anxious how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that hour what ye shall speak. |
|

| не ви бо бу́дете глаго́лющії, но Дух Отця́ ва́шего глаго́ляй в вас. | For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaketh in you. |
|

|
| Преда́сть же брат бра́та на смерть, і оте́ць ча́до; і воста́нуть ча́да на роди́телі і убію́ть їх; | And brother shall deliver up brother to death, and the father his child: and children shall rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death. |
|

|
| і бу́дете ненави́дими всі́ми і́мене Моєго́ ра́ди; претерпі́вий же до конця́, той спасе́н бу́деть. | And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved. |
|

| (Зач. 37) Єгда́ же го́нять ви во гра́ді сем, бі́гайте в други́й. Амі́нь бо глаго́лю вам: не і́мате сконча́ти гра́ди Ізра́їлеви, до́ндеже при́йдеть Син Челові́чеський. | But when they persecute you in this city, flee into the next: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone through the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. |

| Ність учени́к над учи́теля (своєго́), ніже́ раб над господи́на своєго́; | A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his lord. |
|

| довлі́єть ученику́, да бу́деть я́ко учи́тель єго́, і раб я́ко госпо́дь єго́. А́ще господи́на до́му Веєльзеву́ла нареко́ша, кольми́ па́че дома́шнія єго́? | It is enough for the disciple that he be as his teacher, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more them of his household! |

| Не убо́йтеся у́бо їх, нічто́же бо єсть покрове́нно, є́же не откри́ється, і та́йно, є́же не уві́діно бу́деть. | Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hidden, that shall not be known. |
|

|
| Є́же глаго́лю вам во тьмі, рці́те во сві́ті; і є́же во у́ші сли́шите, пропові́діте на кро́віх. | What I tell you in the darkness, speak ye in the light; and what ye hear in the ear, proclaim upon the housetops. |
|

|
| І не убо́йтеся от убива́ющих ті́ло, душі́ же не могу́щих уби́ти; убо́йтеся же па́че могу́щаго і ду́шу і ті́ло погуби́ти в геє́нні. | And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both the soul and the body in hell. |

| Не дві ли пти́ці ціни́тіся єди́ному асса́рію? І ні єди́на от них паде́ть на землі́ без Отця́ ва́шего. | Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? and not one of them shall fall on the ground without your Father: |

|
| Вам же і вла́си главні́ї всі ізочте́ні суть. | but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. |
|

|
| Не убо́йтеся у́бо: мно́зіх птиць лу́чші єсте́ ви. | Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. |
|

| (Зач. 38) всяк у́бо і́же іспові́сть М'я пред челові́ки, іспові́м єго́ і Аз пред Отце́м Мої́м, І́же на Небесі́х; | Everyone therefore who shall confess me before men, him will I also confess before my Father who is in heaven. |
|

| а і́же отве́ржеться Мене́ пред челові́ки, отве́ргуся єго́ і Аз пред Отце́м Мої́м, І́же на Небесі́х. | But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father who is in heaven. |

| Не мні́те, я́ко прийдо́х воврещи́ мир на зе́млю; не прийдо́х воврещи́ мир, но меч; | Think not that I came to send peace on the earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. |

| прийдо́х бо разлучи́ти челові́ка на отця́ своєго́, і дщер на ма́тер свою́, і неві́сту на свекро́в свою́. | For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law: |

|
| І вразі́ челові́ку дома́шнії єго́. | and a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. |
|

|
| (Зач. 39) І́же лю́бить отця́ іли́ ма́тер па́че Мене́, ність Мене́ досто́їн; і і́же лю́бить си́на іли́ дщер па́че Мене́, ність Мене́ досто́їн; | He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. |

| і і́же не при́йметь креста́ своєго́ і вслід Мене́ гряде́ть, ність Мене́ досто́їн. | And he that doth not take his cross and follow after me, is not worthy of me. |

|
| Обріти́й ду́шу свою́ погуби́ть ю; а і́же погуби́ть ду́шу свою́ Мене́ ра́ди, обря́щеть ю. | He that findeth his life shall lose it; and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it. |
|

|
| І́же вас приє́млеть, Мене́ приє́млеть; і і́же приє́млеть Мене́, приє́млеть Посла́вшаго М'я; | He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me. |
|

|
| приє́мляй проро́ка во і́м'я проро́чо, мзду проро́чу при́йметь; і приє́мляй пра́ведника во і́м'я пра́ведничо, мзду пра́ведничу при́йметь; | He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward: and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward. |

| і і́же а́ще напої́ть єди́наго от ма́лих сих ча́шею студени́ води́ то́кмо, во і́м'я ученика́, амі́нь глаго́лю вам, не погуби́ть мзди своєя́. | And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only, in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you he shall in no wise lose his reward. |
