| (Зач. 89) І отвіща́в Ісу́с, па́ки рече́ їм в при́тчах, глаго́ля: | And Jesus answered and spake unto them again in parables, saying, |

| уподо́бися Ца́рствіє Небе́сноє челові́ку царю́, і́же сотвори́ бра́ки си́ну своєму́ | The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son, |
|

|

|
| і посла́ раби́ своя́ призва́ти зва́нния на бра́ки; і не хотя́ху прийти́. | and sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the marriage feast: and they would not come. |
|

|
| Па́ки посла́ і́ни раби́, глаго́ля: рці́те зва́нним: се обі́д мой угото́вах, юнці́ мої́ і упита́нная ісколе́на, і вся гото́ва; прийді́те на бра́ки. | Again he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them that are bidden, Behold, I have made ready my dinner; my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come to the marriage feast. |

| Они́ же небре́гше отидо́ша, ов у́бо на село́ своє́, ов же на ку́плі своя́; | But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise; |

| про́чії же є́мше рабо́в єго́, досади́ша їм і уби́ша їх. | and the rest laid hold on his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them. |
|

|
| І сли́шав цар той разгні́вася, і посла́в во́я своя́, погуби́ уби́йці о́ни і град їх зажже́. | And when that king heard thereof, he was wroth; and he sent his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned their city. |
|

|
| Тогда́ глаго́ла рабо́м свої́м: брак у́бо гото́в єсть, зва́ннії же не би́ша досто́йнії; | Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they that were bidden were not worthy. |
|

|
| іді́те у́бо на ісхо́дища путі́й, і єли́ціх а́ще обря́щете, призові́те на бра́ки. | Go ye therefore unto the partings of the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage feast. |
|

|
| І ізше́дше раби́ о́ні на распу́тія, собра́ша всіх, єли́ціх обріто́ша, злих же і до́брих; і іспо́лнися брак возлежа́щих. | And those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was filled with guests. |

| Вшед же цар ви́діти возлежа́щих, ви́ді ту челові́ка не оболче́на во одія́ніє бра́чноє, | But when the king came in to behold the guests, he saw there a man who had not on a wedding garment: |

| і глаго́ла єму́: дру́же, ка́ко вшел єси́ сі́мо не іми́й одія́нія бра́чна? Он же умолча́. | and he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless. |
|

| Тогда́ рече́ цар слуга́м: св'яза́вше єму́ ру́ці і но́зі, возьмі́те єго́ і вве́рзіте во тьму кромі́шнюю; ту бу́деть плач і скре́жет зубо́м. | Then said the king to the servants, Bind his feet and hands, take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. |

| мно́зі бо суть зва́ні, ма́ло же ізбра́нних. | For many are called, but few chosen. |
|

| (Зач. 90) Тогда́ ше́дше фарисе́є, сові́т восприя́ша, я́ко да обольстя́ть Єго́ сло́вом. | Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might ensnare him in his talk. |
|

|
| І посила́ють к Нему́ ученики́ своя́ со іродіа́ни, глаго́люще: Учи́телю, ві́ми, я́ко і́стинен єси́, і путі́ Бо́жию воі́стину учи́ши, і неради́ши ні о ко́мже; не зри́ши бо на лице́ челові́ком; | And they send to him their disciples, with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true, and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for anyone: for thou regardest not the person of men. |

| рци у́бо нам, что Ті ся мнить? Досто́йно ли єсть да́ти кинсо́н ке́сареві, іли́ ні? | Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not? |

| Разумі́в же Ісу́с лука́вство їх, рече́: что М'я іскуша́єте, лицемі́ри? | But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why make ye trial of me, ye hypocrites? |
|

|
| покажі́те Мі злати́цю кинсо́нную. Они́ же принесо́ша Єму́ пі́нязь. | Show me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a denarius. |
|

|
| І глаго́ла їм: чий о́браз сей і написа́ніє? | And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? |
|

|
| (І) глаго́лаша Єму́: ке́сарев. Тогда́ глаго́ла їм: воздаді́те у́бо ке́сарева ке́сареві, і Бо́жия Бо́гові. | They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and unto God the things that are God’s. |

| І сли́шавше диви́шася; і оста́вльше Єго́ отидо́ша. | And when they heard it, they marveled, and left him, and went away. |

| (Зач. 91) В той день приступи́ша к Нему́ саддуке́є, і́же глаго́лють не би́ти воскресе́нію, і вопроси́ша Єго́, | On that day there came to him the Sadducees, they that say that there is no resurrection: and they asked him, |

| глаго́люще: Учи́телю, Моїсе́й рече́: а́ще кто у́мреть не іми́й чад, (да) по́йметь брат єго́ жену́ єго́ і воскреси́ть сі́м'я бра́та своєго́; | saying, Teacher, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. |

| бі́ша же в нас седьм бра́тія; і пе́рвий оже́нься у́мре, і не іми́й сі́мене, оста́ви жену́ свою́ бра́ту своєму́; | Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first married and deceased, and having no seed left his wife unto his brother; |

| тако́жде же і втори́й, і тре́тій, да́же до седьма́го; | in like manner the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. |
|

|
| посліди́ же всіх у́мре і жена́; | And after them all, the woman also died. |
|

|
| в воскресе́ніє у́бо, кото́раго от седьми́х бу́деть жена́? Всі бо імі́ша ю. | Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. |
|

|
| Отвіща́в же Ісу́с рече́ їм: прельща́єтеся, не ві́дуще Писа́нія, ні си́ли Бо́жия; | But Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. |
|

|
| в воскресе́ніє бо ні же́няться, ні посяга́ють, но я́ко а́нгели Бо́жії на небесі́ суть; | For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven. |
|

|
| о воскресе́нії же ме́ртвих ні́сте ли чли рече́ннаго вам Бо́гом, глаго́лющим: | But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, |

| Аз єсьм Бог Авраа́мов, і Бог Ісаа́ков, і Бог Іа́ковль? Ність Бог Бог ме́ртвих, но (Бог) живи́х. | I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not God of the dead, but of the living. |

| І сли́шавше наро́ди дивля́хуся о уче́нії Єго́. | And when the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching. |

| (Зач. 92) Фарисе́є же сли́шавше, я́ко посрами́ саддуке́ї, собра́шася вку́пі. | But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, gathered themselves together. |
|

|
| І вопроси́ єди́н от них законоучи́тель, іскуша́я Єго́ і глаго́ля: | And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, trying him, and saying, |

|
| Учи́телю, ка́я за́повідь бо́льші (єсть) в зако́ні? | Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law? |
|

|

|
| Ісу́с же рече́ єму́: возлю́биши Го́спода Бо́га твоєго́ всім се́рдцем твої́м, і все́ю душе́ю твоє́ю, і все́ю ми́слію твоє́ю; | And Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. |

| сія́ єсть пе́рвая і бо́лшая за́повідь; | This is the first and great commandment. |
|

|
| втора́я же подо́бна єй: возлю́биши і́скренняго твоєго́, я́ко сам себе́; | And a second like it is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. |
|

|
| в сію́ обою́ за́повідію весь Зако́н і Проро́ци ви́сять. | On these two commandments hang the whole law and the prophets. |
|

|
| Собра́вшимся же фарисе́йом, вопроси́ їх Ісу́с, | Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question, |

|
| глаго́ля: что вам мни́ться о Христі́? Чий єсть Син? Глаго́лаша Єму́: Дави́дов. | saying, What think ye of the Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David. |
|

| Глаго́ла їм: ка́ко у́бо Дави́д Ду́хом Го́спода Єго́ нарица́єть, глаго́ля: | He saith unto them, How then doth David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying, |

|
| рече́ Госпо́дь Го́сподеві моєму́: сіди́ одесну́ю Мене́, до́ндеже положу́ враги́ Твоя́ подно́жіє нога́ма Твої́ма? | The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, Till I make thine enemies the footstool of thy feet? |

| а́ще у́бо Дави́д нарица́єть Єго́ Го́спода, ка́ко син єму́ єсть? | If David then calleth him Lord, how is he his son? |
|

| І нікто́же можа́ше отвіща́ти Єму́ словесе́; ніже́ смі́яше кто от того́ дне вопроси́ти Єго́ ктому́. | And no one was able to answer him a word, neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions. |
