| (Зач. 110) У́тру же би́вшу, сові́т сотвори́ша всі архієре́є і ста́рці людсті́ї на Ісу́са, я́ко уби́ти Єго́; | Now when morning was come, all the chief priests and the elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death: |

| і св'яза́вше Єго́ ведо́ша і преда́ша Єго́ Понті́йському Пила́ту, іге́мону. | and they bound him, and led him away, and delivered him up to Pontius Pilate the governor. |
|

|
| (Зач. 111) Тогда́ ви́дів Іу́да преда́вий Єго́, я́ко осуди́ша Єго́, раска́явся возврати́ три́десять сре́бреники архієре́єм і ста́рцем, | Then Judas, who betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders, |

| глаго́ля: согріши́х преда́в кров непови́нную. Они́ же рі́ша: что єсть нам? Ти у́зриши. | saying, I have sinned in that I betrayed innocent blood. But they said, What is that to us? see thou to it. |
|

| І пове́рг сре́бреники в це́ркві, оти́де; і шед удави́ся. | And he cast down the pieces of silver into the sanctuary, and departed; and he went away and hanged himself. |
|

|
| Архієре́є же приє́мше сре́бреники, рі́ша: недосто́йно єсть вложи́ти їх в корва́ну, поне́же ціна́ кро́ве єсть. | And the chief priests took the pieces of silver, and said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since it is the price of blood. |
|

| Сові́т же сотво́рше, купи́ша ї́ми село́ скуде́льничо, в погреба́ніє стра́нним; | And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in. |
|

|
8
|
| ті́мже нарече́ся село́ то село́ кро́ве, до сего́ дне; | Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day. |
|

|
| Тогда́ сби́сться рече́нноє Ієремі́єм проро́ком, глаго́лющим: і прия́ша три́десять сре́бреник, ці́ну Ціне́ннаго, Єго́же ціни́ша от сино́в Ізра́їлев, | Then was fulfilled that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was priced, whom certain of the children of Israel did price; |

| і да́ша я на село́ скуде́льничо, я́коже сказа́ мні Госпо́дь. | and they gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord appointed me. |
|

| Ісу́с же ста пред іге́моном. І вопроси́ Єго́ іге́мон, глаго́ля: Ти ли єси́ Цар Іуде́йський? Ісу́с же рече́ єму́: ти глаго́леши. | Now Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, Thou sayest. |

| І єгда́ Нань глаго́лаху архієре́є і ста́рці, нічесо́же отвіщава́ше. | And when he was accused by the chief priests and the elders, he answered nothing. |
|

|
| Тогда́ глаго́ла Єму́ Пила́т: не сли́шиши ли, коли́ка на Тя свиді́тельствують? | Then saith Pilate unto him, Hearest thou not how many things they witness against thee? |
|

|

|
| І не отвіща́ єму́ ні к єди́ному глаго́лу, я́ко диви́тися іге́мону зіло́. | And he gave him no answer, not even to one word: insomuch that the governor marveled greatly. |
|

|
15
|
| На (всяк) же пра́здник оби́чай бі іге́мону отпуща́ти єди́наго наро́ду св'я́зня, єго́же хотя́ху; | Now at the feast the governor was wont to release unto the multitude one prisoner, whom they would. |
|

|
| ім'я́ху же тогда́ св'я́зана наро́чита, глаго́лемаго Вара́вву; | And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas. |
|

|
| собра́вшимся же їм, рече́ їм Пила́т: кого́ хо́щете (от обою́) отпущу́ вам: Вара́вву ли, іли́ Ісу́са глаго́лемаго Христа́? | When therefore they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ? |

| Ві́дяше бо, я́ко за́висти ра́ди преда́ша Єго́. | For he knew that for envy they had delivered him up. |
|

|
| Сідя́щу же єму́ на суди́щі, посла́ к нему́ жена́ єго́, глаго́лющи: нічто́же тебі́ і Пра́веднику Тому́; мно́го бо пострада́х днесь во сні Єго́ ра́ди. | And while he was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that righteous man; for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. |

| Архієре́є же і ста́рці наусти́ша наро́ди, да іспро́сять Вара́вву, Ісу́са же погуб'я́ть. | Now the chief priests and the elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas, and destroy Jesus. |
|

|
| Отвіща́в же іге́мон рече́ їм: кого́ хо́щете от обою́ отпущу́ вам? Они́ же рі́ша: Вара́вву. | But the governor answered and said unto them, Which of the two will ye that I release unto you? And they said, Barabbas. |
|

|
| Глаго́ла їм Пила́т: что у́бо сотворю́ Ісу́су глаго́лемому Христу́? Глаго́лаша єму́ всі: да ра́сп'ят бу́деть. | Pilate saith unto them, What then shall I do unto Jesus who is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified. |

| Іге́мон же рече́: ко́є у́бо зло сотвори́? Они́ же і́злиха вопія́ху, глаго́люще: да про́п'ят бу́деть. | And the governor said, Why, what evil hath he done? But they cried out exceedingly, saying, Let him be crucified. |
|

|
| Ви́дів же Пила́т, я́ко нічто́же успіва́єть, но па́че молва́ бива́єть, приє́м во́ду, уми́ ру́ці пред наро́дом, глаго́ля: непови́нен єсьм от кро́ве Пра́веднаго Сего́; ви у́зрите. | So when Pilate saw that he prevailed nothing, but rather that a tumult was arising, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this righteous man; see ye to it. |

| І отвіща́вше всі лю́діє рі́ша: кров Єго́ на нас і на ча́діх на́ших. | And all the people answered and said, His blood be on us, and on our children. |
|

|
| Тогда́ отпусти́ їм Вара́вву; Ісу́са же бив предаде́ (їм), да Єго́ про́пнуть. | Then released he unto them Barabbas; but Jesus he scourged and delivered to be crucified. |
|

|
| (Зач. 112) Тогда́ во́їни іге́монови, приє́мше Ісу́са на суди́ще, собра́ша Нань все мно́жество во́їн; | Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium, and gathered unto him the whole band. |
|

|
| і совле́кше Єго́, оді́яша Єго́ хлами́дою червле́ною; | And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. |
|

|
| і спле́тше віне́ць от те́рнія, возложи́ша на главу́ Єго́, і трость в десни́цю Єго́; і покло́ншеся на колі́ну пред Ним руга́хуся Єму́, глаго́люще: ра́дуйся, Царю́ Іуде́йський. | And they plaited a crown of thorns and put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they knelt down before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! |

| І плю́нувше Нань, прия́ша трость і бія́ху по главі́ Єго́. | And they spat upon him, and took the reed and smote him on the head. |
|

|
| І єгда́ поруга́шася Єму́, совлеко́ша с Него́ багряни́цю і облеко́ша Єго́ в ри́зи Єго́; і ведо́ша Єго́ на проп'я́тіє. | And when they had mocked him, they took off from him the robe, and put on him his garments, and led him away to crucify him. |

| Ісходя́ще же обріто́ша челові́ка кирине́йська, і́менем Си́мона; і сему́ заді́ша понести́ крест Єго́. | And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to go with them, that he might bear his cross. |

|
| (Зач. 113) І прише́дше на мі́сто нарица́ємоє Голго́фа, є́же єсть глаго́лемо Кра́нієво мі́сто, | And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, The place of a skull, |

| да́ша Єму́ пи́ти о́цет с же́лчію смі́шен; і вкуш, не хотя́ше пи́ти. | they gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted it, he would not drink. |
|

|
| Распе́ншії же Єго́ разділи́ша ри́зи Єго́, ве́ргше жре́бія; | And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments among them, casting lots; |
|

|
36
|
| і сідя́ще стрежа́ху Єго́ ту; | and they sat and watched him there. |
|

|
37
|
| і возложи́ша верху́ глави́ Єго́ вину́ Єго́ напи́сану: Сей єсть Ісу́с, Цар Іуде́йський. | And they set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS. |

|
| Тогда́ расп'я́ша с Ним два разбо́йника: єди́наго о десну́ю, і єди́наго о шу́юю. | Then are there crucified with him two robbers, one on the right hand and one on the left. |
|

|
| Мимоходя́щії же ху́ляху Єго́, покива́юще глава́ми свої́ми | And they that passed by railed on him, wagging their heads, |
|

|
40
|
| і глаго́люще: разоря́яй це́рков і треми́ де́ньми созида́яй, спаси́ся Сам; а́ще Син єси́ Бо́жий, сни́ди со креста́. | and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself: if thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross. |

| Та́кожде же і архієре́є руга́ющеся с кни́жники і ста́рці (і фарисе́ї), глаго́лаху: | And in like manner also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders and Pharisees, said, |

|
| іни́я спасе́, Себе́ ли не мо́жеть спасти́? А́ще Цар Ізра́їлев єсть, да сни́деть ни́ні со креста́, і ві́руєм в Него́; | He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he is the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on him. |

| упова́ на Бо́га; да ізба́вить ни́ні Єго́, а́ще хо́щеть Єму́. Рече́ бо: я́ко Бо́жий єсьм Син. | He trusteth in God; let him deliver him now, if he desireth him: for he said, I am the Son of God. |
|

44
|
| То́жде же і разбо́йника расп'я́тая с Ним поноша́ста Єму́. | And the robbers also that were crucified with him cast upon him the same reproach. |
|

|
45
|
| От шеста́го же часа́ тьма бисть по всей землі́ до часа́ дев'я́таго; | Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. |
|

|
46
|
| о дев'я́тім же часі́ возопи́ Ісу́с гла́сом ве́ліїм, глаго́ля: Ілі́, Ілі́! Ліма́ савахфані́? Є́же єсть: Бо́же мой, Бо́же мой! Вску́ю М'я єси́ оста́вил? | And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lima sabachthani? that is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? |

| Ні́ції же от ту стоя́щих сли́шавше глаго́лаху, я́ко Ілію́ глаша́єть Сей. | And some of them that stood there, when they heard it, said, This man calleth Elijah. |
|

|
| І а́біє тек єди́н от них, і приє́м гу́бу, іспо́лнив же о́цта, і вонзе́ на трость, напая́ше Єго́. | And straightaway one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. |
|

|
| Про́чії же глаго́лаху: оста́ви, да ви́дим, а́ще при́йдеть Ілія́ спасти́ Єго́. | And the rest said, Let be; let us see whether Elijah cometh to save him. |
|

|
| Ісу́с же, па́ки возопи́в гла́сом ве́ліїм, іспусти́ дух. | And Jesus cried again with a loud voice, and yielded up his spirit. |
|

|
| І се, заві́са церко́вная раздра́ся на дво́є с ви́шняго кра́я до ни́жняго; і земля́ потрясе́ся; і ка́меніє распаде́ся; | And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake; and the rocks were rent; |

| і гро́би отверзо́шася; і мно́га тілеса́ усо́пших святи́х воста́ша; | and the tombs were opened; and many bodies of the saints that had fallen asleep were raised; |
|

|
| і ізше́дше із гроб, по воскресе́нії Єго́, внидо́ша во святи́й град і яви́шася мно́зім. | and coming forth out of the tombs after his resurrection they entered into the holy city and appeared unto many. |
|

|
| Со́тник же і і́же с ним стрегу́щії Ісу́са, ви́дівше трус і би́вшая, убоя́шася зіло́, глаго́люще: воі́стину Бо́жий Син бі Сей! | Now the centurion, and they that were with him watching Jesus, when they saw the earthquake, and the things that were done, feared exceedingly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God. |

| Бя́ху же ту і жени́ мно́гі іздале́ча зря́щя, я́же ідо́ша по Ісу́сі от Галиле́ї, служа́щя Єму́; | And many women were there beholding from afar, who had followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him: |
|

|
| в ни́хже бі Марі́я Магдали́на і Марі́я, Іа́кова і Іосі́ї ма́ти, і ма́ти си́ну Зеведе́йову. | among whom was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee. |
|

| По́зді же би́вшу, при́йде челові́к бога́т от Аримафе́я, і́менем Іо́сиф, і́же і сам учи́ся у Ісу́са; | And when even was come, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple: |

|
| сей присту́пль к Пила́ту, проси́ тілесе́ Ісу́сова. Тогда́ Пила́т повелі́ да́ти ті́ло. | this man went to Pilate, and asked for the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be given up. |
|

|
| І приє́м ті́ло Іо́сиф, обви́т є плащани́цею чи́стою | And Joseph took the body, and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, |

|
| і положи́ є в но́вім своє́м гро́бі, єго́же ізсіче́ в ка́мені; і возвали́в ка́мень ве́лій над две́рі гро́ба, оти́де. | and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed. |

| Бі же ту Марі́я Магдали́на і друга́я Марі́я, сідя́щі пря́мо гро́ба. | And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting over against the sepulcher. |

| (Зач. 114) Во у́трій же день, і́же єсть по п'ятці́, собра́шася архієре́є і фарисе́є к Пила́ту, | Now on the morrow, which is the day after the Preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees were gathered together unto Pilate, |

| глаго́люще: го́споди, пом'яну́хом, я́ко льстець он рече́, єще́ сий жив: по тріє́х днех воста́ну; | saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while he was yet alive, After three days I rise again. |
|

| повели́ у́бо утверди́ти гроб до тре́тьяго дне, да не ка́ко прише́дше ученици́ Єго́ но́щію укра́дуть Єго́ і реку́ть лю́дем: воста́ от ме́ртвих; і бу́деть послі́дняя лесть го́рша пе́рвия. | Command therefore that the sepulcher be made sure until the third day, lest haply his disciples come by night and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: and the last error will be worse than the first. |

| Рече́ же їм Пила́т: і́мате кустоді́ю; іді́те, утверді́те, я́коже ві́сте. | And Pilate said unto them, Ye have a guard: go, make it as sure as ye can. |
|

| Они́ же ше́дше утверди́ша гроб, зна́менавше ка́мень с кустоді́єю. | So they went, and made the sepulcher sure, sealing the stone, the guard being with them. |
