| Тогда́ приступи́ша ко Ісу́сові і́же от Ієрусали́ма кни́жници і фарисе́є, глаго́люще: | Then there come to Jesus the scribes and Pharisees that were from Jerusalem, saying, |

|
| почто́ ученици́ Твої́ преступа́ють преда́ніє ста́рець? Не умива́ють бо рук свої́х, єгда́ хліб ядя́ть. | Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread. |
|

|
| Он же отвіща́в рече́ їм: почто́ і ви преступа́єте за́повідь Бо́жию за преда́ніє ва́ше? | And he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God because of your tradition? |
|

|
| Бог бо запові́да, глаго́ля: чти отця́ і ма́тер; і; і́же злосло́вить отця́ іли́ ма́тер, сме́ртію да у́мреть. | For God commanded, saying, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, He that speaketh evil of father or mother, let him die the death. |

| Ви же глаго́лете: і́же а́ще рече́ть отцю́ іли́ ма́тері: дар, і́мже би от мене́ по́льзовался єси́, | But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, That wherewith thou mightest have been profited by me is given to God; and he shall not honor his father or his mother. |

| і да не почти́ть отця́ своєго́ іли́ ма́тере [ма́тере своєя́]; і разори́сте за́повідь Бо́жию за преда́ніє ва́ше. | And ye have made void the commandment of God because of your tradition. |

| Лицемі́ри, до́брі проро́чествова о вас Іса́я, глаго́ля: | Ye hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying, |

|
| приближа́ються мні лю́діє сі́ї усти́ свої́ми і устна́ми чтуть М'я; се́рдце же їх дале́че отстої́ть от Мене́; | This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, And honoreth me with their lips; But their heart is far from me. |
|

|
| всу́є же чтуть М'я, уча́ще уче́нієм, за́повідем челові́чеським. | But in vain do they worship me, Teaching as their doctrines the precepts of men. |
|

|
| І призва́в наро́ди, рече́ їм: сли́шіте і разумі́йте; | And he called to him the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: |

|
| не входя́щеє во уста́ скверни́ть челові́ка, но ісходя́щеє ізо уст — то скверни́ть челові́ка. | Not that which entereth into the mouth defileth the man; but that which proceedeth out of the mouth, this defileth the man. |
|

| (Зач. 61) Тогда́ присту́пльше ученици́ Єго́ рі́ша Єму́: ві́си ли, я́ко фарисе́є сли́шавше сло́во соблазни́шася? | Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, when they heard this saying? |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́: всяк сад, єго́же не насади́ Оте́ць Мой Небе́сний, іскорени́ться; | But he answered and said, Every plant which my heavenly Father planted not, shall be rooted up. |
|

|
| оста́віте їх; вожді́ суть слі́пі сліпце́м; сліпе́ць же сліпця́ а́ще во́дить, о́ба в я́му впаде́тася. | Let them alone: they are blind guides of the blind. And if the blind guide the blind, both shall fall into a pit. |
|

|
| Отвіща́в же Петр рече́ Єму́: скажи́ нам при́тчу сію́. | And Peter answered and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. |
|

|
| Ісу́с же рече́ їм: єдина́че [єще́] ли і ви без ра́зума єсте́? | And Jesus said, Are ye also even yet without understanding? |
|

|
| не у ли разуміва́єте, я́ко вся́ко, є́же вхо́дить во уста́, во чре́во вміща́ється і афедро́ном ісхо́дить? | Do ye not yet perceive, that whatsoever goeth into the mouth passeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draft? |
|

|
| ісходя́щая же ізо уст, от се́рдця ісхо́дять, і та скверня́ть челові́ка; | But the things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart; and they defile the man. |
|

|
| от се́рдця бо ісхо́дять помишле́нія зла́я, уби́йства, прелюбодія́нія, любодія́нія, татьби́, лжесвиді́тельства, хули́; | For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings: |
|

| сія́ суть скверня́щая челові́ка; а є́же неумове́ннима рука́ма я́сти — не скверни́ть челові́ка. | these are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands defileth not the man. |
|

| (Зач. 62) І ізше́д отту́ду Ісу́с, оти́де во страни́ Тирськия і Сидо́нськия. | And Jesus went out thence, and withdrew into the parts of Tyre and Sidon. |
|

|
| І се, жена́ ханане́йська, от преді́л тіх ізше́дши, возопи́ к Нему́ глаго́лющи: поми́луй м'я, Го́споди, Си́не Дави́дов, дщи моя́ злі бісну́ється. | And behold, a Canaanitish woman came out from those borders, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a demon. |

| Он же не отвіща́ єй словесе́. І присту́пльше ученици́ Єго́, моля́ху Єго́, глаго́люще: отпусти́ ю, я́ко вопіє́ть вслід нас. | But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. |

| Он же отвіща́в рече́: нісьм по́слан, то́кмо ко овця́м поги́бшим до́му Ізра́їлева. | But he answered and said, I was not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. |
|

| Она́ же прише́дши поклони́ся Єму́, глаго́лющи: Го́споди, помози́ мі. | But she came and worshiped him, saying, Lord, help me. |
|

|
| Он же отвіща́в рече́: ність добро́ от’я́ти хлі́ба ча́дом і поврещи́ псом. | And he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread and cast it to the dogs. |
|

|
| Она́ же рече́: єй, Го́споди; і́бо і пси ядя́ть от крупи́ць па́дающих от трапе́зи господе́й свої́х. | But she said, Yea, Lord: for even the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. |
|

| Тогда́ отвіща́в Ісу́с рече́ єй: о, же́но, ве́лія ві́ра твоя́; бу́ди тебі́, я́коже хо́щеши. І ісцілі́ дщи єя́ от того́ часа́. | Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it done unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was healed from that hour. |

| (Зач. 63) І преше́д отту́ду Ісу́с, при́йде на мо́ре Галіле́йськоє, і возше́д на гору́, сі́де ту. | And Jesus departed thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and he went up into the mountain, and sat there. |
|

| І приступи́ша к Нему́ наро́ди мно́зі, іму́ще с собо́ю хроми́я, сліпи́я, німи́я, бі́дния і і́ни мно́гі, і приверго́ша їх к нога́ма Ісу́совима; і ісціли́ їх. | And there came unto him great multitudes, having with them the lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and they cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them: |

| я́коже наро́дом диви́тися, ви́дящим німи́я глаго́люща, бі́дния здра́ви, хроми́я ходя́щя і сліпи́я ви́дящя; і сла́вляху Бо́га Ізра́їлева. | insomuch that the multitudes wondered, when they saw the dumb speaking, the maimed whole, the lame walking, and the blind seeing: and they glorified the God of Israel. |

| (Зач. 64) Ісу́с же призва́в ученики́ Своя́, рече́ (їм): милосе́рдую о наро́ді (сем), я́ко уже́ дні три присідя́ть Мні і не і́муть чесо́ я́сти; і отпусти́ти їх не я́дших не хощу́, да не ка́ко ослабі́ють на путі́. | And Jesus called unto him his disciples, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat: and I would not send them away fasting, lest haply they faint on the way. |

| І глаго́лаша Єму́ ученици́ Єго́: отку́ду нам в пусти́ні хлі́би толи́ці, я́ко да наси́титься толи́к наро́д? | And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so many loaves in a desert place as to fill so great a multitude? |

| І глаго́ла їм Ісу́с: коли́ко хлі́би і́мате? Они́ же рі́ша: седьм і ма́ло ри́биць. | And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few small fish. |
|

|
| І повелі́ наро́дом возлещи́ на землі́, | And he commanded the multitudes to sit down on the ground; |

|
| і приє́м седьм хлі́би і ри́би, хвалу́ возда́в преломи́ і даде́ ученико́м Свої́м, ученици́ же наро́дом. | and having taken the seven loaves and the fish, he gave thanks and brake, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude. |

| І ядо́ша всі і наси́тишася; і взя́ша ізби́тки укру́х, седьм ко́шниць іспо́лнь; | And they all ate, and were filled: and they took up that which remained over of the broken pieces, seven baskets full. |
|

|
| я́дших же бя́ше чети́ре ти́сящі муже́й, ра́зві жен і діте́й. | And they that did eat were four thousand men, besides women and children. |
|

|
39
|
| І отпусти́в наро́ди, влі́зе в кора́бль і при́йде в преді́ли Магдали́нські. | And he sent away the multitudes, and went up into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala. |
